On the side waiting for my to go

The inside is a quiet inviting area. More like a seat urself diner. I ordered a side salad. Added some grilled chicken to the salad. I also ordered cup of chicken noodle soup. Also order a beef hot dog made like a coney style. Added extra onions and held off on the cheese. Results the side salad was a nice size. The chicken is more like char grilled. I prefer moist softer chicken. Once i added some seasoning to it. It will do the job. The chicken noodle soup had egg shell noodles the chicken bites were soft and carrots were fresh. I would say once you add some salt it will pep it up. Just a tad bland. But over all was fresh. The coney hot dog was tasting does the job. Chilli has a bit of sweet to it. I also sampled a bite of there tuna and that was flavorful. Over all I would go back to try other items

Veggie omelet add sausage

Great experience at Zorbas. You order at the counter and they bring you your meal. I had the veggie omelet add sausage with hash browns. The omelet was delicious and a large portion. Taste was good and the veggies still had a slight crunch. Hashbrowns we're good, but could have been crispier. Friendly and quick service. Definitely recommend!

Great food and quick service. Breakfast was reasonably priced and very good. Seating was comfortable and the menu has a lot of items to choose from. Looking forward to going back soon.

Zorbas diner is a cute and quaint little restaurant. The meat omelet was very big. I would've liked a different cheese another than American cheese. I wasn't aware that's what it would come with. The hash browns were average. Not a ton of flavor. The pancake was good and the breakfast sandwich too. I'd come back if I was in the area but there's lots of other breakfast competition in Columbus.

Menu and empty dining area

I was just in the area wanting to kill time and hungry and didn't want to go any typical breakfast spots so I stepped into Zorba's. Before it was Zorbas it was a very delicious Chinese food spot so I've been eyeing this spot for sometime now! I walked in to an empty dining area which is fine by me just means I should be able to get my food pretty quickly. Ms Kisha greeted me and let me know I can take a menu, seat myself, when I'm ready I can come back up and order. I will say when I order and I am indecisive lol. I wanted to try a little bit of everything. I ended up making my own combo which before taxes was just around $10 which isn't bad at all! A lot of the omelet options included 3 to 4 eggs which is just too much for me so I got the mini breakfast (2 eggs) with bacon, hash brown, 2 slices of wheat toast and I added a side of grits. The food came out in less than 10 minutes. The food was pretty good but I couldn't taste any seasoning on the eggs and hash browns. They do provide salt, franks red hot, mustard, ketchup, and sugars. No pepper was at my table and I noticed it was missing from a few other tables as well. Great portions for everything. I think I ordered enough for maybe 2 people or 1 person and a kid to split. My favorite was the hashbrown! It was nice and crunchy on the outside and a rich creamy texture on the inside. I would definitely get that every time. Overall I enjoyed my breakfast listening to pop/top 40 music and being in peace as I was still the only person dining in throughout my 40 minute stay.

Mini breakfast added a pancake

Wanted a good breakfast, yelped out this gem on the way out of town. Set up to order food at the counter and they bring it to you. I got the mini (basic) breakfast and added a pancake. If the pancake wasn't enormous, I would have finished both plates. Food was excellent, no complaints. Service was quick and the restaurant was nice and open. Friend got a western omelet with grits, clean plate award goes to her! Excellent find, definitely would return to try their lunch/dinner menu.

This was our 1st time trying this place and it was very good! I'm from the Detroit area and we have the best coneys in the Detroit area unlike the so called coney places in ohio, that Cincinnati style coney is not a good coney. But, Zorbas Diner is the Detroit style coney! It is the only place I've found that taste and reminds me of coneys from back home! We were told the owner is from Detroit but, he wasn't there the day we were in there. I'm hoping next time we go, to meet the owner. I'm so glad to see and taste food made like I grew up on from Detroit! Thank you for opening this place. The food was very good and the service was very friendly and fast! Both the lady who took our order and the guy cooking in the back came back out to see how everything was and took time to talk with each guest. I had 3 coneys with everything on them just like I remember from back home, hot dog coney sauce mustard and onions and a chili fries. They were absolutely DELICIOUS! My wife had a cheeseburger with onions and said it was good. We will have to go back and try their breakfast sometime as they serve breakfast all day just like the coney places back home do.

my partner is originally from Detroit, so when we moved to Columbus, she always talked about how much she misses coney islands. we found Zorbas on Doordash! they have a great variety of greek, italian and american options. my favorite would be their breakfast, their hashbrowns are freshly grated so it's perfect. i also enjoy their coneys and chili cheese fries. the buffalo chicken pita is delicious as well! honestly, everything there is great. between the kindness of the staff, prices, and quality of food, i would highly recommend!

The focus on the beer was mostly on lagers, which I love. Only negative: the man pouring the taps there one of the nights has no clue what he was talking about. I asked him the difference between two of the bocks they had on tap (a helles bock and a maibock...debately the same style, if not very similar) and he said "how strong the Belgian yeasts are" in a very confident tone. I told him I had never heard of bocks being made with Belgian yeasts, and he said it's "a Cincinatti thing". I got a taste of the beer, and there were no phenolics (for non beer nerds: it had no Belgian flavors) so I ordered one and didn't argue.

We hit up several breweries on a recent trip to Columbus, and Hoster was my favorite beer of the trip. It was just well made, good tasting beer - nothing crazy. To top it off, there's bottomless self-serve popcorn and a vintage jukebox topped with a bowl of free quarters to play your favorite selctions from the decades. The collections of artifacts from Hoster's storied histories, make the walk to the bathroom like a visit to a mini-museum. I loved the homey decor and selection of tables, barstools, and comfy chairs. This place was somewhat family friendly, but it's not a huge space, so it's not great for tots that like to run around. I believe there might have been soooome seasonal outdoor seating, but nothing crazy. Lots of parking and easily accessible. The bartender was super welcoming, friendly, and generous! We stopped in on a Saturday afternoon, and it wasn't super busy - that was welcomed! Hoster is worth a visit if you're ever in the area. Their brews rival the big names in the area.

I wish I could say it was worth the wait. We ordered the "award winning" breakfast tacos, the Nutella pancake balls with bacon, and two orange juices. The bill came to nearly $50 and then we were asked for a tip. That last part stung a little, considering the service model is essentially counter-order takeout style. A friendly staff member directed us to grab a menu, decide what we wanted, and then come tell her. We did sit down and have our food brought to us, but it still felt more like a fast-casual setup than one that warrants a tip prompt. The restaurant itself is pleasant, clean, open, and airy with a nice patio out front. No complaints there. The food, however, was underwhelming. The breakfast tacos, supposedly the star of the show, were bland across the board and fell apart almost immediately. Three small tacos for $20 is a tough sell when there's nothing memorable about them. The Nutella pancake balls were decent but forgettable. The real highlight? The bacon, but that's not exactly a high bar. As for the orange juice, it comes pre-made and refrigerated near the register, which felt a little out of place for a spot with this kind of reputation. I genuinely don't understand the hype around the food here. The price point would be justified if the flavors delivered, but they simply don't. The staff were kind and the space is lovely, I just can't recommend making a special trip for the menu.

It's a freestanding building, remodeled from something else. I had assumed it would be tucked into one of the little strips in Bexley, but it's just east of the main retail area. Parking lot and street parking. Super friendly service, and fast; food was up in five minutes. I had figured it would be a better choice than fast food, which was my other option, and it was indeed better, and just as fast. I wasn't super hungry, so I got the purple latkes and the elote, two apps. The latkes were excellent. Crisp but soft inside, tasty. Served with sour cream and applesauce. Good applesauce, not just a little cup of Mott's. Sprinkled with scallions. The elote was good, not great. Corn is out of season, of course. The flavor was decent although the cheese and all the seasoning kind of slid off in my hands. A little messy. Again, to be expected. But I had hoped for a little more favor. They do have assorted hot sauces all around the dining area. I also had a Horchata, small but heavily spiced and flavorful. The main drawback is the price. Two fairly small apps and a drink, for $30. It's good stuff though, but it's not some place I can eat very often. But for breakfast or brunch, or occasional other stops, it is a good choice.
