The leche flan flavor made it unique n' tasted great. I thought it would be too sweet, but it was just right. Surprisingly, I wanted the Mais Con Yelo to be a bit sweeter. I guess the versions that I had growing up must of had condensed milk or more of it. Either way, having Sama Sama brought back childhood memories n' I am proud to be Filipino! Now to the most memorable part of my experience - while waiting for our drink I was getting the usual aesthetic "shot" for IG/yelp and a female walked by and told me "not to take photos of the inside of the truck"... i literally thought she was joking but she was serious. I then realized she actually is a worker in the truck and was surprised. Weird, first time I've ever been told this especially given that it's in a public space at an event.... not a brick and mortar location. It was awkward. The workers were very friendly. Before I got to order there were what looked like tourists asking questions and the worker was very patient with them and answering all their questions. As far as the boba, they only have a select amount of flavors. I opted for their Thai Tea with their brown sugar boba and cream cheese topping (comes with the drink). Overall the drink was VERY sweet and as the worker recommend does need a very very good stir. The brown sugar boba definitely lives up to its name - a lot of sugar there. The cream cheese topping is good but I could've really done without it. It's too bad you can't adjust sweetness. I probably would get 0 sweetness since the boba is super sweet. Overall, not my kind of boba but that doesn't mean it wasn't good.

Fulfills my daily dose of coffee but this is special because they top it off with a cream cheese cap. They offer other flavors like black, green, thai, and hibiscus tea. Last week they had an ube flavored drink, this week they have a lilikoi topping offering. I like that they continue play with different flavors. Gotta try it if you're in the Aiea area on a Saturday morning.

This location of Taste Tea is at the entrance of the mall, between BRUG Bakery and Moe's Southwest Grill... at "Uptown" or the Mauka (mountain side) of the shopping complex. The cheerful gal at the front took the orders and payment. The guy in the back made the drinks. They had great teamwork! I had a Peach Green Tea, half sweet. It was just right and perfect for this sunny summer weather! This convenient kiosk is great for customers who are entering Pearlridge and for those who want to take one for the road! Enjoy!

They offer snowthies which they describe as a smoothie and shave milk ice. They are really good! I got the strawberry and mango snowthie. They both are refreshing and seem to have fruit puree. I have also tried their milky tea which is non dairy. It is not quite like milk tea but still has that tea flavor that is pretty strong, it is unique and difficult to describe. The milky tea comes with two toppings of your choice. The boba is tasty but I did find it had a slightly bitter aftertaste. One thing to note is that the snowthies contain whole milk. There are no alternative milk options, so be sure to bring your lactaid! Over all this place makes great drinks for a reasonable price ($6-$8). Overall I would come back for more!

I was actually looking for a different drink place (a food truck), but Taste Tea called out to me... especially because of the excellent air-conditioning and quiet, cozy environment! Service was very cheerful and informative! This business was open before the pandemic and closed a while during the pandemic. It opened up again in early 2024. I told the friendly manager, Jacky, that I needed a non-dairy drink. She said that most of the milk teas are made with non-dairy creamer... yay! I decided to get a peach iced tea with Spring Tea (instead of oolong, black, or jasmine tea), and 50 percent sweetness. It was just right!!! Now that I know about this Taste Tea location, I'll be back because they have a great Loyalty Rewards program... and free shared parking!

The tapioca was good but the tea was so watery. I'm not even sure what wintermelon tea is supposed to taste like but my drink just tasted like sugar water and milk. It was made quickly, but there's not much in terms of service otherwise. They have many flavors of drinks, but I'm pretty sure this is the same place that used to be at the old shirokiya and their menu was way more extensive in the past. They offered a lot more blended fresh fruit drinks before. Now it seems like there are mostly just flavored teas and the selection is on the slim side. My mango passion fruit tea was good and it was a nice treat after being on the plane. They also offer some food items like fried gyoza. I see them pretty often parked where the tour buses pick people up, so maybe I'll stop by again for a fruity tea.
