Made an appointment at home a couple of hours prior and went in last night at 9pm out of fear of an ear infection. Spoke to the receptionist for a moment and probably 2 minutes later Ingrid Hudakova came to greet me! She was incredibly helpful!! So so kind and reassuring when I was feeling super anxious. She was gentle and caring throughout the entire experience. Truly a 10/10 experience and it was no longer than 30 minutes long. read more

AVOID ZOOM CARE at all cost. They way overcharge for durable medical equipment. They charged us $277 for a $20 wrist brace that we didn't even need. The brace cost more than that doctor visit did. I've gotten higher quality braces from my orthopedic doctors offices for $75 . The brace they gave us is $$18-20 at CVS. I figured it would cost $40-$50 for it because it's a doctors office, but $277 is a total scam. They charged way over the negotiated in-network cost that insurance would cover ( which was $43 and would have been an acceptable charge for this brace. but $277 is outrageous. They are just trying to make money off of insurance, but when insurance doesn't cover the excessive charges the patient is stuck with the cost, horrible business practices. ZoomCare is a trash organization. How can you call yourself a healthcare company when you have zero sympathy for a sick patient. Apparently they have a strict 5 minute late policy that isn't made abundantly clear anywhere when you're booking (and you get a text & email confirming your appointment, so they have space to do that). Upon walking into a completely empty waiting room 6 minutes late (I have sick & incapacitated family at home & got there as quickly as I could), the receptionist informed me they would have to reschedule me. I explained to her my situation & that this was the only time I had to make an appointment today. She said their next available was in an hour (kid will be awake and needing me by then) and said there was nothing else she could do. Complete lack of care. It's honestly disgusting. It is convenient to have same day appointments available. However, using them as primary care (as they offer) is beyond frustrating. On two occasions they have not responded to my pharmacy's request for refills. The pharmacy told me this is typical, once they found out they were contacting zoom providers. read more

This place is not only a total rip off but they subscribed UNNECESSARY antibiotics to my child. I selected "ear was removal" when booking the appointment. When we got there, I was told the 15 min appointment time was not long enough to remove the earwax. So without being able to see the eardrum to confirm an infection, they decided a 99 degree temp was enough to warrant antibiotics. I expressed my concern over that course of treatment as my child has never had to have antibiotics before and to protect their gut health and the effectiveness of antibiotics, etc., I want to save antibiotics for when they are really truly needed. The Dr. just said they are needed here. I had lingering doubts so took my child a couple days later at an actual pediatric clinic. They removed the earwax and confirmed there was NO INFECTION. To top it off, our 15 min earwax removal appointment with ZoomCare was $300 for absolutely no value whatsoever - they didn't remove the earwax and prescribed unnecessary antibiotics. read more

I went to this clinic at the recommendation of an on call doctor for shortness of breath and coughing. The doctor I saw, Josh, dismissed almost all of my symptoms and made me feel like I was being dramatic. He didn't ask any questions about my shortness of breath, and I had to insist that he prescribe me medication. It's like he entered the appointment already deciding I don't need to be there. He also would not look me in the eye and typed on his computer the entire time. I did not feel cared for and I do not feel that he adequately looked into my symptoms. read more

Total scam artists. Unethical and unconscionable behavior. This is a review for ALL Zoom+ care, not just Ballard. I don't really know how to express how horrible this place is. They seem fine when you go in, then expect to get bill after bill for stuff you didn't buy. Good luck calling them. They have a routing system so you can never talk to anyone you saw at the clinic or anyway to follow up on your care. They have no imaging facilities - even though when you tell them that is what you need, they say "no problem" and then try to "upsell" you everything possible related to you care. They make sure you purchase things from them that your insurance would actual pay for but don't tell you and then bill you directly or just charge it to your card. They also require a credit card to make an appt. and then continue to make unauthorized charges. Stay away. UW urgent care is right down the street and they are kind, caring and PROFESSIONAL. read more

I can't help but feel nickel and dimed by Zoom Care. I've had two negative experiences already. 1) Went in for an emergency appointment due to intense abdominal pains. They drew some blood for a series of blood tests. Once the test results were ready, they contacted me to schedule another $100+ appointment to review the results! I asked them why they couldn't just tell me over the phone if everything was OK or not. But they said I had to come in. So I went, and the doctor met with me for 5 minutes to tell me all the bloodwork results were normal! I paid an additional $100 for him to tell me this in person. Ridiculous. 2) Went in for a COVID test before I went to visit relatives. They told me that the results generally take 1- 3 days. TEN days later, they email me to say that my COVID nasal sample was not processed correctly, and to come back in to give another sample. Oh, and they didn't refund me my co-pay either. Awful. 0 for 2 with my experiences so far. read more

Update: ZoomCare never delivered the results after 14 days and multiple follow ups. We got the records directly from the non-ZoomCare imaging lab no problem, and will be going to our real primary care doctor to discuss further. The Imaging department said there is no record of ZoomCare ever requesting the imaging docs they requested we complete and that ZoomCare said they would report on immediately. I do not recommend using ZoomCare, ever. If urgent and/or critical, definitely not. Original post below: No X-Ray results after eight days for our child, an X-Ray they said was critical to get that night. No follow through to our regular follow ups for the results. Details: Went into ZoomCare in Seattle (Ballard) for care for our child due to pain and it being after hours for our regular doctor office. That was 8 days ago and still no results for the X-Ray they recommended as urgent to get that night. I called the next day for results, they said it may take up to 48 hours. I called 2.5 days later they said no info yet; it may take 3-5 days. I called after 8 days and this last ZoomCare person told me they cannot give info to me as the parent of the minor; they would have to speak directly to the patient. I put my minor child on the phone, they told my kid sorry no X-ray results yet. 8 Days!!! Although they will not delivery timely results, nor now apparently tell me any info about my child's health results, I'm sure they will have no problem sending me the invoice. The facility itself was clean, the doctor on staff that night was nice and seemed to care, but I expect info and results. They appear to be only profit focused as they also recommended I drive from Seattle across the lake to Bellevue (40+ drive minutes away and past other X-ray locations) to their private ZoomCare location. read more

I'm so disappointed and frustrated after my most recent visit to ZoomCare. I saw Hannah Gordon and her bedside manner leaves a LOT to be desired. It felt very scattered, like she was unsure of what treatment protocol I should follow and wanted to refer me to places I didn't need for further testing-- places I could easily arrange through my regular care providers. She seemed to lack empathy. After giving me news that was concerning based on some test results, she didn't even bother to wish me well or say goodbye at the front when she walked me up. She seemed very rushed and not interested in my social emotional well being at all, even though I was literally in tears. After such a good experience previously with Johnetta Musick, a nurse practitioner, I was confident that any care I received at ZoomCare would be quality. read more

If you ever use or give them any credit card information, they will store it on file without your consent and use it whenever they please. Beware! I recently visited them, service was descent. At the end of my visit, I stopped by the front desk and paid my bill. They did inform me that if the insurance doesn't cover the rest I will be responsible, which I gladly agreed to. Few days later, I get an email of a balance due on my account (the part that insurance didn't cover) also informing me that they will charge my credit card on file in 24 hours. So I go online and check my account to see which credit card I had on file and it said none. I figured they'd send me a bill in the mail as online they didn't have the pay now option. A day later I get another email saying payment failed. Well expected with no credit card on file. So one the weekend rolled in, I called them to pay my bill over the phone. I was shocked when they informed me that "we already charged the card you used the last time you were here. " What!!!! I didn't authorize use of that card!!! Lady on the phone kept insisting that Everytime I provide them with any card information they store it on file till it expires and that I agreed to this!!! Who agrees to that??!! I did agree to be responsible for the balance if insurance doesn't cover, but not for them to grab and snatch any asset of mine they can get their hands on as quickly as possible. They should send me a bill or call me to figure payment. That's the right way to do it and how most clinics in the country operate. Long story short, I don't trust them with my financial information and won't be going back. Not worth the stress when you're trying to recover from an illness. read more

I love this place. Every time I go they've been so efficient and helpful. The only downside was last time there wasn't anyone to draw blood and I had to wait FOREVER at Swedish Ballard's lab. I was in pain and just wanted to get into an urgent care as quickly as possible. I called ahead to this location to make sure they accepted my insurance but no one ever answered. I was on hold for almost 10 minutes when I finally gave up on someone answering and just drove right over. When I got there the front desk person had stepped away but a doctor greeted me and told me someone would be with me shortly. More waiting, still in pain, when the front desk person finally showed up. She took my insurance card, checked, and told me they don't take my insurance. I ended up driving further away to UW Medical Center instead. But ZOOM could have saved me the trouble of waiting on hold 10 minutes while I was in pain, driving over there while in pain, and waiting for a front desk person while I was in pain simply by answering their phone in the first place to confirm they don't take my insurance. Customer service fail for making me drive all the way out there to find out you don't take my insurance. Please consider hiring someone to answer your phones. read more

I saw Hannah Gordon. As an ND, I assumed she would be more open minded and understanding. She seemed nice and friendly at first. But as soon as we got into the reason I was there... she changed. She talked over me, became disconnected in our conversation. I no longer felt like a person. At one point she turned off the screen so I couldn't see what she was writing. I liked Zoomcare, until my visit with Dr. Gordon. Why did she turn off the screen, makes me wonder what she was hiding? I no longer feel safe to return to any of their clinics. She also gave me referrals that I said were already taken care of but I think for her own conscious, it made her feel better. She also took my blood pressure over my thick winter coat. Not great. Injured my ankle/foot pretty bad and wanted to see if I could get an initial consult and some pain relief with the understanding that I'd probably have a follow up since it was a Sunday, so scheduled a midday appointment. The doctor had absolutely zero patience. Didn't introduce herself, but instead greeted me in the lobby with "foot pain? You know we can't do an X-ray until tomorrow." Mmkay makes sense, but also it hurts and I'd love some help in the interim. Also, hello, good to meet you? Proceeded to walk away from me, come back at the appointment time and just continued the rude bedside manner. From walking 5+ feet in front of me to the exam room instead of waiting for my exceptionally slow (and painful) walking pace. Zero small talk. Cut me off multiple times, didn't answer my questions or y'all me through what I should or shouldn't do to help it, got huffy when I asked her to help show me how to wrap it, and then tried to shoo me out quickly. It's now the next day and I've gotten my scan, I was told I'd get my results back within 4-5 hours, and that was over 9 hours ago... and they'll be closing shortly. It's too bad. I've always had a great experience in Fremont, closer to my office, and was hoping to have something similar close to home. read more

Zoom care sight still not forthcoming in telling patients they will be waiting 11 days for a covid test result. Got my test done on July 1st.. still no results. There results lag has cost me a weeks work.. Stay away from here if you need to get back to work with a negative result. My coworkers who went elsewhere received their results in 1-2 days max. I felt listened to and respected, and while the appointment was over in less than 10 minutes, I felt that within that time she was thorough and attentive with her diagnosis and care. I had a bad fall yesterday and went to Zoom Care with a big gash in my palm. As the front desk lady was checking me in, the actual provider Marina Castanedo came right out to check what was going on and if I was ok. Marina took me in and was very delicate injecting local anesthetic (she injected just a little bit first and waited for a minute, so it kicks in and other injections sting less). The rest of the visit was painless and Marina was just so so pleasant and awesome. She actually made me laugh and feel good about my day again - what an amazing person! I have an autoimmune immune disease so I already have "issues" but on top of that I keep getting sinus infections. Zoom Clinic always gets me in right away (especially with an appointment), the place is clean, bright and the girl out front is super sweet. The doctors are very professional, taking their time with me, my long problem list and exhausting list of medications. I have to be super careful about Rx interactions and they ALWAYS run a check. The other wonderful thing is that you can get the prescriptions THERE!!! WHAT?!?! Say WORD!!! Yes, I get a diagnosis and medication to boot before I even leave the clinic. I LOVE THAT! My wold of illness is hard enough, I NEED Zoom Clinic!!! Everyone NEEDS Zoom Clinic! ***Professionalism*** Recently, they went above and beyond for me. I just finished taking a Microbiology class, had recent sinus surgery, plus a poor immune system. NOT the smartest thing I've ever done, because I ended up have Pseudomonas aeruginosa!!!I BEGGED my ENT at Polyclinic to do a culture convinced that this was NO regular sinus infx. I EVEN brought a sample because Dr. Hannah gave me a sterile container and said I might be able to get a culture from the lab with it. Yes, culturing was her idea FIRST!!! My "sinus infx" was going on 5 maybe 6 months total. He completely ignored me, and told me to dump my sample. I also gave Dr. Hannah a list of my Microbiology lab class's bacteria. My ENT wouldn't even look at this. He told me to take it home, pushing it back at me. I ended up switching ENT's to Harborview for the correct diagnosis after culturing it. I started on a LONG road of antibiotics to recovery... Throughout this whole time, I went back and forth to the Ballard Zoom Care where I had been seeing Hannah Gordon ND. She not only researched my symptoms but took it to the next level. Even if it was a regular sinus infx I could tell she wanted me to be able to maintain myself sinus infx free on the regular. She asked her co-workers for advice and told me about some Organic/Naturopathic options and where/how to purchase the RIGHT thing. Some of the Abx worked shortly but that's only because I needed a lab culture to fully get rid of it. She was smart enough and respectful enough to listen to me. Her concerns are sincere. I recently dropped in to give her the news. She took time out to meet with me, eager to hear all the details. I call her Dr. Hannah because to me she is as good as it gets, better than an ENT at Polyclinic for SURE! Dr Hannah sent me some recommendations for Naturopaths and now that I'm nose goblin free, I plan to check them out. The list of tricks she gave me helped maintain my sanity through all this. Especially, eucalyptus oil for the smell and sinus steaming. I still love it in the shower. Invigorating! lol I'm uber happy that I live across the street because with all my health issues sometimes I don't have time to wait for an appointment, or energy to wait then make a road trip for the Rx. After a bad experience at another spot I decided to try out ZOOM+ in Ballard and had an amazing experience. From the moment I walked in the doors I was treated so kindly and helped so fast it was amazing. The woman at the front desk (I didn't catch her name she was shorter and looked to be Asian) was SO kind and even got me a cup of water while I waited. I saw Doctor Hannah Gordon and she was so kind and made me feel very comfortable and helped me get medications efficiently. She also explained them all in great detail so I knew what to do and what they were helping with. Will return again and again and recommend to anyone. read more

I was in and out in under 30 minutes, antibiotics in hand (a huge plus not having to wait at a pharmacy). Had the first appt of the day at 8am. Walked in ~804-805 and the staff was in the back. She came out about 2 min later and told me they had a 5min late policy and had to turn me away. She argued with me, I asked can I use the remainder of my time, and then said "and now its 807" and refused care. Extremely rude and absolutely absurd. I didn't want to get there early and have to wait in the cold and tried to target 8 on the dot. I visited Zoom Care in Ballard to consult with a doc and then have some labs done. While the wait (mind you, late on a Friday afternoon, so my expectations were low) was about 30 minutes, the doc on staff, Hannah Gordon ND, was thorough, professional, and kind. As was Heidi as the receptionist/greeter/scheduler. The labs took longer than I expected (yet that was contracted to LabCorp and was not handled by ZoomCare), but once they were in, Dr. Gordon met immediately with me (without an appt) and went over the results. And when I returned to the clinic a week later, Heidi remembered my name! I would definitely use this service again. read more
