They say that it says that on the website but it is VERY MISLEADING and NO ONE said that at the front desk when I checked in. SO UNFORUNATE THAT I HAVE TO PAY FOR INSURANCE EVERY MONTH and still get stuck with this bill because they couldn't just tell me at the front desk that my insurance didn't cover it and that this was a primary care location only. Beware: This location is NOT an urgent care facility! Swedish Queen Anne referred me here because I had an emergency outside of their business hours. They specifically told me that this location was an urgent care facility. Google also lists this business as an urgent care facility. But it is not!! Beware for those who are expecting their insurance to pay for this visit. I said that was fine, I would private pay even though I have a Molina PPO plan. They said no we can't take anyone associated with Molina because it is attached to Medicaid and is state and federally funded which by the way, mine is not! it is through the marketplace and is $800 a month!! This place is a scam and intends to steal from you. If you have insurance - like a high deductible plan with Premera - they will bill you at the end of the visit and "estimate" your insurance discount. I've realized that, for my wife and I, they estimated too little of a discount by $15, $20, up to $60 meaning that they've scammed us just because they're too lazy to run the insurance codes (like every other medical provider). But they're not lazy - they want more money than the insurance would allow them to bill you, so they just overcharge and hope you don't notice. If you make the mistake of going here, check your Explanation of Benefits from your insurance (it may arrive 1-3 weeks later) and see how much you were *actually* supposed to pay. You then have to reach out, provide both your billing info/receipt number for them, and your EOB only to wait 7-10 days for them to consider giving you a refund. The other option is to refuse to pay when you leave and sit in the waiting room on the phone with your insurance so you can have them actually run the codes and determine the amount you owe. To make matters worse, they now offer "prescriptions" on site for weak, basic medications and they refuse to bill through insurance. This way, they make all the profit and you have no chance to get a discount on their $20 cough syrup. I can't believe businesses like this are allowed to exist. It's shameful and this place should be shut down for misleading and stealing from people. To top it off, the "doctors" (they're not doctors - some of them are naturopathic (ND) which isn't even a legal prescribing entity in most states!) here act like they're on a stopwatch and just run a gamut of standard tests (rapid strep, flu, etc) and call it done before shoving you out the door with one of their overpriced "prescriptions." Some of the PAs/NPs I've seen have been very nice but it doesn't compensate for the fact that I'm never *better* after I've left (near or long term) and they are literally trying to scam you. I know sometimes these angry reviews seem dramatic, but PLEASE DON'T GO HERE AND CHECK YOUR EOB! They are going to overcharge you and I doubt you'll feel better - physically or emotionally. read more

I have nothing but good things to say about ZoomCare. The online scheduling is fast and easy; at check in they've already verified insurance and can estimate what, if any, portion is due for the visit (unlike UW Clinics). The staff is professional, friendly and competent, and the office is very clean. If a prescription is needed, they can either call it in to your pharmacy or possibly dispense it right there, if it's something common, like antibiotics. Huge plus! When getting to my PCP isn't an option, I'd much rather go to ZoomCare than wait in a packed Swedish or UW Urgent Care waiting room. read more

Can not recommend ZoomCare high enough. The staff at the Queen Anne Zoom Care are simply amazing. You are able to get high quality medical care from very knowledgeable doctors with little of the hassle. The location has an easy to use online scheduling method to allow you as little wait time in the lobby as possible. The checkin process (including first visit) is paperless. The appointment itself is started by the doctor greeting you in the lobby and then taking you to the exam room, where the appointment begins immediately. Everything the doctor sees on her computer, you see. You see her typing chart notes, results,ect. There is 100% open communication here which is impressive. Follow up is incredible, they actually call back for a cold to see how you are feeling a few days after your visit. A small pharmacy is on site with basic meds. Prices are competitive here, one RX costed $20 to take home on the spot. This same RX could cost $80 with no insurance at Bartells next door and was $10 with my insurance copay. This is just one example of course, but goes to show they have competitive prices. The prices for OTC generic brands are some of the best I have seen (for example $2.00 for a nasal spray and Vicks cough drops are around $2.25 for a bag). The doctors provide outstanding appointments where they truly listen to what you have to say. When I stopped in for a question on lab results, another doctor working that day took the time to explain the results in a easy to understand fashion, explained the results the best any doctor has ever done before and made sure I was 100% comfortable with the knowledge provided before I left. The ONLY downside to ZoomCare is they do not have onsite x-rays. ImmediateClinic in Queen Anne does have onsite x-rays posing a threat to the success of ZoomCare for these types of visits. **As a follow up, I went to Immediate Clinic to get a same day x-ray completed. Comparing the two providers side by side, Zoom Care is 100% superior. The quality of the doctors and communication from doctors at Zoom Care is amazing. At Zoom Care, I feel as if the doctor was a friend. At Immediate Clinic, I feel like I am wasting their time by asking a question and only get checklist service. Zoom Care may be lacking x-rays; however, I would still likely choose them again and get a script for an x-ray and deal with the hassles of getting the script filled for the x-ray then deal with Immediate Clinic. I came here to draw blood in 03/19/2018. It was a NIGHTMARE and I'll explain why I am writing a review now. A young male without uniform who seems to be the receptionist drew blood for me, I thought he might also be a nurse so let him did that. But when he was drawing the 2nd tube of blood, soon he said there is no enough blood. He asked me to open and close my palm to "pump" the blood. After he took out the needle from my arm, I felt hurt in my heart and was unconscious for about half a minute. I could feel my heart shrink at that time. Why I am writing this review 10 months later? When I drew blood in a different place yesterday, I realized that it was not normal at all. This time 4 tubes were drew and I am completely fine. Also, "no enough blood and you need to pump" did not happen at all. I guess the guy in zoom+care drew my blood from a wrong place, though it is very close to the vein. If the guy is still there, do not ask him to draw blood for you!!!! read more

I was sick for over two weeks and my primary care couldn't see me in a timely manner. I googled urgent care and was able to seamlessly book an appointment at zoom for 2 hours from when I tried. I got in, got 8 rapid tests done and got my antibiotics in 15 MINUTES! I was blown away. Also, the staff was so nice and informative. I will only go to zoomcare from now on for illness. read more

I have never experienced such stupid processes and poor patient service as I just received from Zoom+Care. I chose Zoom+Care initially because it was the closest place I could get an annual physical, because due to Insurance changes, my PCP of 9+ years at Swedish was no longer in-network. At the time of my search (June), Zoom+Care was listed as in-network with my insurance. Summer is a super busy time for me professionally, so I finally got around to calling Zoom+care last week to schedule an appointment. The rep on the phone confirmed that my Heritage Signature plan with Premera Blue Cross was covered (I asked specifically, because why wouldn't I just stay with my current doctor if I planned to pay out-of-network?!). Cool. So I made a same-day appointment this evening. I called ahead of my appointment to confirm that the things I needed (physical, PAP, and prescription refill) could be addressed in my appointment. The rep on the phone said yes (neglecting to tell me of their stupid single-issue policy). When I arrived for my appointment, the guy at the front desk checked me in and told me they were running 5-10 minutes behind. No worries. I'd waited about 2 minutes when he started asking about what I needed from the appointment. I told him: wellness exam/physical, PAP and prescription. It was then that he informed me about their single issue policy, where you can't ALSO get a prescription refill AND do a physical/wellness exam. This makes NO SENSE for women on birth control, who do an annual exam for the purpose of handling all three (physical/PAP/birth control) at once. Why would I have to have two appointments for things that are 100% linked?! I decided I'd just figure it out, and he proceeded to ask about my previous doctor. I informed him the reason why I was no longer going to see her (insurance cut Swedish out of in-network, and I needed to find a new doctor in-network). He then told me that as of June 15th, Zoom+care is NO LONGER IN-NETWORK with my plan either!!! The initial Zoom+Care representative that I spoke with last week completely misinformed me. So I told him that we'll have to cancel it, because the WHOLE POINT of going with Zoom+Care was to find an in-network doctor. Again, if I was going to do out-of-network, I would have just stayed with my doctor of 9+ years! He then told me that they'd be charging me the $99 late cancellation fee. I was not okay with this, because THEIR REPRESENTATIVE MISINFORMED ME. He said there was nothing he could do. Fine. I'll be disputing any charges with my credit card company. This place is awful! So incredibly unprofessional! It is only PAs, no MDs or DOs. I came in to get a TB skin test that was necessary for nursing school. My initial visit was fine, but it was the second visit that was terrible. Anyone who is familiar at all with TB tests and reading them knows that after 48-72 hours a health care provider will measure the raised surface where the injection was, NOT the entire red surface. Jennifer Morris (a PA) measured the ENTIRE area including the red surrounding the raised area. She then claimed that it was over 11 cm, and I was positive for TB and would need to get a $200 chest scan at Swedish hospital!!! A completely unnecessary waste of time and money for an clearly positive test. I asked her to remeasure the area which she did very hesitantly, again saying that it was a positive test even when asking why she measured the whole area. Jennifer Morris was incredibly rude by not answering my questions and as she typed. She them dismissed me to leave, I was incredibly upset, and the only other thing they could say to me was to get this stupid chest x-ray. I later came back that day because I was convinced that it was a negative test, I just wanted her to remeasure. She refused to remeasure and didn't answer any of my questions, claimed that I was "bullying her". Last time I checked,having a health care question and trying to get some clarification was not "bullying". She threatened to call the police, just for questioning her and trying to gain more insight as to how she came to her conclusion. Same day I had it read by my regular doctor, and it was a clear NEGATIVE result. Nobody had to yell at me and they answered all my questions, wow. Long story short: zoom+care is unprofessional, they have no actual doctors, and those they do have working could care less about you. read more

They charged me over$150 for a visit with someone what probably wasn't a real doctor. Ask she's told me was to go grab Sudafed which she tried to sell. I said no thanks I'm going to grab it from the bartell . I had met my family deductable and shouldn't have to pay anything and they still charged me. Friendly staff, quality care, and efficient. The environment is very clean, as well. I was in and out in under 30 minutes and within that time had a strep test with results already received. It's important to remember the scope of medical needs that this clinic can manage- it's not an ER. I think they do a great job here and will definitely go back if I have another concern. read more

I went in to take a flu test. I had insurance and my insurance card. The lady who handled the billing would not take my insurance, and proceeded to misinform me about my benefits. I was overcharged about 150 dollars. After calling my insurance the next day I found out that I was indeed overcharged. And to make matters worse Zoomcare told me it would take 8 to 10 weeks to get my money back. Even my insurance rep thought it was odd that they could not reimburse me quicker given the fact that she spoke to Zoomcare directly and explained to them their mistake. I was already feeling in bad shape when I went in, and this visit made me feel even worse. I will not go here in the future and I advise anyone who risks coming here to be prepared to cover the visit out of pocket. Extremely inconvenient.... read more

I just wanted to update/clarify after Zoom+Care responded to my review. I paid upfront because they could not verify my insurance at the time of treatment (it was a weekend). I was told they would bill my insurance and refund me the money. Not only did they not bill the insurance and refund me the money I paid upfront but they sent an additional bill (small but still a bill) after the visit. I hope that they improve on their billing issues. I ended up losing the hearing in my left ear permanently. I'm not sure if the delay in a proper diagnosis played a part. read more

Dr. --- 5 stars Billing System --- 1 star I wanted like this clinic because facility is neat, good location and dr. was excellent! But they have HORRIBLE BILLING SYSTEM !!! Their billing system is set up to be only favorable to ZoomCare, not for patients. Please make sure to learn about their billing policy prior to start doing business with them. Know what you are getting into. Their billing policy said they wont' refund if less than $5 (they will credit $5 for a future visit instead, they expect for you to sick again) and they will charge up to $500 without your authorization. I made an appointment over the phone and did not know anything about their billing policy but i was asked to give them a credit card to confirm the appointment. The rep said they need my credit card in case of no-show, they will scharge $99 which I thought just work as a hotel reservation so it was no problem with me. Later I found out that they hostage the credit card forever!! I mean until the credit card is expired. So please mindful giving your credit card at the time of making an appointment. My insurance card clearly stated the co-pay amount and Zoomcare is in-network provider. However, I was told my visit is falling under co-insurance (it was no lab work, no treatment, just a short chat with dr...). Few days later, I checked my insurance claim history and noticed that I only needed to pay co-pay amount!!! It is hard for me to believe that the lady at the front desk really contacted my insurance company to verify the benefits at the time of service. My visit was not weekend, it was weekday visit, she could have contact insurance company. As soon as I received EOB, I demand them to process a refund. Luckily, it was grater than $5 so they refunded to my credit card. But, it could be mush simpler if I pay co-pay at the time of service so I never needed to spend my time and effort to contact their discourteous customer service and monitor the refund. I am still not comfortable with the fact that they are keeping my credit card number on file which I never authorized for them to do so!! I was a new patient but did not asked to sign a single piece of paper!!! I believe Zoomcare must have number of excuse to say "we are trying to simplify administration so we can provide service at reasonable price" or something. Well, they have tons of Apple "i-something" devices throughout the facility, if you opt for a regular PCs or tablets, they can save tons of money there. Zoomcare is not for me but might be a good for someone who does not have a health insurance. Zoomcare doctor's visit is $140 compared to UW clinic or Swedish costs about $270 to $300. But net dr.'s visit cost really doesn't matter to me or someone who has a decent insurance policy with co-pay. In addition to that, Zoomcare Queen Anne business hours is similar to UW clinic urgent care which just opened in Ballard a few month ago. I visited the UW clinic Ballard following week for the first time, I never needed to pay co-insurance, just paid co-pay at the time of service. read more

I go to ZoomCare when I can't get an appointment at my main doctor's office, but have some sort of uncomfortable ailment that's impeding daily tasks. Both appointments have been really quick, efficient, and effective. The gal at the front desk is always super friendly. A pleasant person to deal with when you're ailing and likely grumpy. Making appointments is quick and easy. Billing, while certainly more expensive than your primary care physician, is quick and easy. Always super clean. read more

The young tech who welcomed me was extremely helpful with the paperwork, later on, she was the one drawing my blood, and I did not feel anything she was so good at it. Elisabeth, the PA who saw me made me feel comfortable right away. She definitely knows her job, and is very empathic and eager to help. I had my first experience with ZoomCare last week, and it went better than I expected. The check-in process was quick and easy, I was seen almost immediately (by Michelle Lew), and I really felt like she took the time to get to know me and my concerns. They have a process they go through with new patients that, to some, may seem like they're just filling out a questionnaire, but she took the time to go back and touch on the concerns I had and helped me learn how to deal with them. She even followed up almost immediately after the appointment by sending me an email with some information she forgot to give me before I left. I was super impressed and relieved. I was nervous going because I was afraid of some of the concerns people have raised in the other reviews. And while I obviously can't promise you won't experience any of them, I sure didn't. I can't recommend ZoomCare and Michelle Lew enough! read more

We had a very bad experience here. The doctor at QA ZoomCare misdiagnosed my son and caused unnecessary fear and alarm. She sent him to ER telling him he likely had permanently damaged his sight in one eye. She neglected to find out that he already had weaker vision in one eye. So she failed to get an accurate baseline measurement of the situation. ER found his eyesight was fine. Totally irresponsible, negligent and ignorant treatment by ZoomCare doctor. Tried to call to schedule an appointment for Seattle. First off, the number for the Seattle location is a 503 area code (Oregon area code). One number is not connected to anything, the other is a phone tree than yielded 7+ minute hold time because of "higher call volumes" but then auto-disconnected me at the end. Ended up booking an appointment online. The care was fine, but I got the feeling they were trying to add as many line items as possible to the total bill. They didn't pressure me to say yes, but I had to actively opt out of all their suggestions "that might be nice to have" to avoid getting charged. The worst part, the instructions that they provided in-person directly conflict with the written instructions they sent me home with. Now I want to call and clarify, but the same problem: Waiting on hold for over 7 minutes to some generic number not mapped to our geo and then leaving a VM in some generic voicemail box. I also tried their chat help which makes you provide all kind of information only to say that chat is only available in Oregon several steps later. Save yourself the frustration and go to Urgent Care. read more

The Med Assistant I saw at the Queen Anne's ZoomCare was more thorough in her preliminary examination & palpation than some doctors I've seen. I came in complaining of shortness of breath & dizziness & wanted to know if I needed to see a cardiologist. It would be great if ZoomCare could invest in phlebotomists that are experienced as the one they currently have on staff was unable to hit a vein after 3 painful tries (and then we stopped trying). I do not really blame her as my veins are thin & she probably does not have much experience with thin veins. That said, they were quick to fill out an order for a blood draw I could take to a lab. read more

I had my first experience with this clinic today to do a rapid step test. I was able to schedule an appointment within the hour that I had called. I arrived early expecting to fill out paperwork, shockingly there wasn't any, only a signature on a tablet. The staff are very warm and respectful to the patients and their customers. The environment was very clean and organized without making things feel too sterile. The employees make eye intact when that are explaining their procedure, and they verify that you completely understand everything, and then verify it upon your check out. I was in there for about 20 minutes total. I never felt rushed! I would completely recommend this to anyone who is looking for a quick medical needs. It is very easy to make make an appointment by calling insuring that you are seen in a timely manner. I was seriously impressed with entire team! read more

I was pleasantly surprised by the modern customer experience. The online scheduling experience was fantastic - I was done in about two minutes, that includes explaining my symptoms and typing in my insurance info. No dreaded paperwork awaited me at the front desk, either. I was also pleased with the PA; she asked the right questions, was very knowledgeable, and I felt she had a very smart and pragmatic approach to the diagnosis and homecare steps she provided. Rethink your frustrating doctor visits folks, these guys do it flawlessly! This Memorial Day weekend I wasn't feeling well and so found my way to their Wallingford clinic. They were booked for another hour or so, but offered me an appointment 10 minutes away at their Queen Anne location (love that there is a clinic in every neighborhood!). The front desk went so far as to call and let them know I was on my way AND print out directions to get there. YAY EASY! When I got to the Queen Anne clinic, I was met with smiles and seen immediately, by Karin. She was thorough in her exam, explanation, and treatment- she even brought in a medical book to show me diagrams of my leg muscles and nerves to help explain the condition. They take insurance (or have a flat cash rate, I noticed), so payment was easy, too. Today I'm back at work, feeling better :), and just got a telephone call from Karin to check up on me! Everyone was super sweet and helpful. I would definitely recommend seeing them for urgent care, and regular check-ups. read more

I came to Zoomcare in July when Zi suspected I had glass in my foot. I didn't want to go to the ER and was hoping I could return to work later. After booking my appointment the same morning, I saw the doctor around 1. The building is very clean and pristine and the staff very professional and nice. I was seen quickly and the glass promptly removed. I was not able to return to work after because the doctor had to numb my entire foot and I couldn't really walk, which is important for preschool teachers, but my service was great. She told me what I needed to do and the wound healed well. The only issue we had was that we were billed multiple times. We have since worked this out between Zoomcare and our insurance but it caused some stress. Overall I would recommend Zoomcare. It was very relaxed and I got just what I needed. read more
