This is *NOT* an urgent care clinic. Their website is completely misleading. I was assured by my insurance that an urgent care visit would be covered outside of network since I was visiting from out of town. They bill as primary care providers, even though ours was an urgent care visit. Now they say I am responsible for the visit and will not bill as urgent care providers. We used to see Dr. Mark Banks at this location, who was wonderful, but when he left, Zoomcare refused to give us contact information or any information about his departure. In reference to Dr. Micha Kiehl. Misogynistic and paternalistic (at best). Unsafe for women and children.My 9-year old son sustained a burn in 2021, pouring hot water into ramen soup. I am a Chinese medicine practitioner with over a decade of clinical experience who teaches and supervises Chinese medicine and naturopathic students. I assessed his burn, which was a superficial partial-thickness burn and less than 5% of his total body surface area. We used standard, sterile burn dressings and alocane, as well as some fresh aloe vera leaf and the burns were healing nicely. His energy was good, he was well-hydrated, feeling warm and comfortable, was happy and playing. I had sent a description of my son's injuries and photos to our PCP through the electronic health record and she agreed that the burn area and full sensation, with no signs of infection meant he was looking good. On the fifth day, I took him to Zoomcare to ask for some silver sulfadiazine cream that he could take to my co-parents house, to ensure that there was no infection. I'd tried to call our PCP for this but she was out of the office. I gave all of our PCP's information to the front desk at Zoomcare and asked that our chart notes be sent to her after our visit. The physician assistant there, Kristina Stover, came to get us. She recommended that we break the blisters (against all medical knowledge I've ever seen) and said she had never really seen a burn before so she needed to call her supervisor, Micah Kiehl, which she did. I was handed a cell phone to talk with Dr. Micah Kiehl, who began to reprimand me for suggesting that my sons blisters should be broken and for thinking that Neosporin should be applied to a burn. I let him know that was his PA and not me. When I told him I used fresh aloe vera on the burn, he told me that I was "probably not hurting" my son too much with that. It would be of benefit for a medical professional to look at the research on fresh aloe vera and burns. He then told me, without ever laying his eyes on my child, that my child needed a skin graft at Randall Children's Hospital. I told him my experience level, that my son had burned less than 5% total body surface area and that he had full nerve sensation and blanching with pressure. I said that since there was no reason to have my son exposed to COVID-19 at a hospital, I would just like to get the silver sulfadiazine cream to help prevent infection. I gave him my primary care physicians number so that he could call her. He insisted that I take my child to Randall Children's Hospital for a burn that did not require it and I said, "No, I will leave now." He then told me on the phone that I was "not allowed to leave," and that if I "didn't do what he said that there would be consequences." My son remarked to me how rude the man on the phone was (he was so loud that my son was able to hear him yelling at me many feet away). We left, got no silver sulfadiazine and paid $250 for the abusive treatment when we got to the front desk. I emailed my PCP, who had photos of my son's injuries, as soon as we got home. The next day, we had a prescription for silver sulfadiazine waiting for us at the pharmacy. And, Micah Kiehl called our PCP as well, who told him about all of the years she'd been working with us, that she agreed the burn was manageable at home and that I was knowledgeable and skilled. And with that information, Micah Kiehl decided to weaponize the state against a mother who knew more than he did. He called Child Protective services and reported that I was abusing my son. The investigation went on for months, required that my son was taken out of school on multiple occasions for interviews, had to have his burn assessed by government physicians and that I undergo many phone interviews. After the months of investigation, CPS found that I did nothing wrong (the report is public). The social worker told me that it angered her that this doctor felt the need to waste her time and the State's resources when there are a lot of children who need their help right now. read more

I had an appointment set for 9:15, that came and went and the office wasn't even open. Someone else with an earlier appointment let me know that they wouldn't be coming in until 10:45 at the soonest, but they wouldn't help re-book any scheduled appointments or provide any reason why they weren't open. read more

I went in for a dog bite, the guy touched my injured site WITHOUT GLOVES and then fought hard to not give me antibiotics. Really strange practice. I've been to ZoomCare in Fremont a few times, and I have nothing but good things to say about them. I rarely have to wait to be seen at my appointment time. Everyone is very friendly and when they look at you, they really see you, if you know what I mean. My provider takes her/his time with me, and the care I have received is reassuring and thorough. If you need urgent care, give some serious thought to finding a ZoomCare near you. You will definitely appreciate them. read more

I booked my first and only remote appointment via ZoomCare in the hopes of receiving an ADHD assessment. I was excited because I was able to book an appointment within a week when everyone else in my area seems to be booking 2+ months out for the same assessment. The day of my appointment I received a phone call from ZoomCare advising me that my remote appointment was being cancelled because my initial appointment with the mental health provider would be required to be in-person. I was also told that the soonest I could be booked for an in-person appointment with a mental health provider was next month, and that the closest provider is over an hour away from me by car, or 2+ hours away from me by public transit. I get that there are some things that can't be done remotely, like I can't get blood drawn or get a vaccination via zoom, however there is no reason that mental health appointments can't be done remotely, and if ZoomCare mental health providers are unwilling to do remote appointments for new patients, then it shouldn't even be offered as an option for new patients. Update: I responded to a survey after my appointment was cancelled and received an email indicating that my initial appointment was mishandled, so I am giving them a second chance. I have a new remote appointment scheduled, and if that goes better I will adjust my rating. read more

The front desk lady is nice but failed to tell me the estimated charge cost before I was taken to the back. I was charged a $300 new patient fee later when I came out which was not reasonable at all since I was not informed earlier and I don't even know why I was charged. The item name is showing as a self-paid fee. However, I had my insurance info entered. So how exactly this place is calculating its fees? It is a common rule to inform the patient any out of pocket fee estimates or range beforehand. So that the patient will be able to make the right decision. Otherwise, should I pay $300 or $3000 or whatever it comes to me? I figured all this by recalling that when I was sitting in the waiting area for 30 mins, I heard she explained the fee quotes to other patients. Since I do a lot sports, urgent care and hospital is a frequent place I visit. As such I was prepared to pay a bit higher and all the past experience told me the fee will be reasonable, as long as I was acknowledged beforehand. So when I pointed out the new patient charge of $300 is not right, the front desk lady admitted she missed that and I lose the chance to walk away to avoid this unexpected charge. When we were negotiating the procedures for the wrong charge , two other facilitators came out (one young nurse with glasses being very rude) and asked me to leave. So I asked if I can record( they agreed) and started recording to ensure we have kept all the evidence and fact, also to proof who's being rude :) It was funny that when they refused to walk through the case with me on site, they seem forgot I'm a patient and is very sick also. If this is how zoom care treat patients. I would suggest you avoid walking into this place as you would suffer double pain, not only from your injuries but your healthcare providers as well, how pathetic. I'lol report this case up and will appeal of this wrong charge. read more

Connor was amazingly helpful when I came in 4/8/22! Give this guy a raise. 3 stars for quick and helpful and caring service. Left out two stars because urgent care cost almost $300 plus a $170 follow up later that day. They were not up front about how much it would cost unlike the other zoom location I went to in Bellevue, who told me before the procedure. Apparently my provider at the Fremont location billed it higher because it was a more "complicated" situation. Those codes the doctors submit are so frustrating, you as the patient have no control over it and they just want their higher reimbursement. However, the high price was also due to the fact that my insurance deductible hadn't been met yet. read more

They neglected two times to submit a lab for processing, so what was a simple issue that could have been resolved in days hasn't even been treated after an entire week. Thankful for the helpful intervention of the central Zoom folks in Oregon and Greg at the Fremont clinic to finally figure out that the lab was never done. I just went to this Fremont location for an injury/illness visit - I saw the FNP, Jesse, and he was more compassionate than most of the specialists and other doctors I've seen for the ongoing medical issue I've been experiencing. He listened to me and cared about getting to the root of the problem. It was a quick and easy visit and everyone was kind. I believe in addition to urgent care they also provide primary care services, so it's a good local Fremont option for those looking. read more

I loved Zoomcare because they are super convenient and easy to book with; however, be warned that you cannot contact the care team directly if you need anything after your visit. Your only option is to call a support team out of Portland, who may or may not be able to resolve the issue. I was given a prescription and told refills would be sent to my pharmacy, which was great. I went to get my my pharmacy and they had no rx. I called Zoomcare and waited on the line FOR OVER 30 MINUTES before giving up. I emailed them and explained the situation and was told that I was given a paper rx, which was just about the least helpful response I could have received. I finally got somebody on the support number this morning and even she was uncertain about how to resolve the issue. They say they will get back to you in 24 hours, which is extremely problematic when you are dealing with medical issues. read more

I recently cut myself deeply on a piece of glass and went straight to the Wallingford location. They were too busy to see me but the friendly front desk worker set me up with an appointment at the Fremont location. By the time I got there I was pretty upset from losing a lot of blood and being really scared. Katie, the front desk worker, was so sweet and comforting. After Dr. Anthony determined I would need numbing shots and stitches, Katie stood in the room and held my hand while the procedure was done. I am so impressed with how professional and calm they both were, keeping me alert, distracted with chatting, and trying to make me feel as comfortable as possible. I made a huge mess in the room and they both just joked and smiled with me about it. This is by far the most personal, professional experience I have ever had at an urgent care. I highly recommend. So, my insurance paid Zoom Care, but this is not enough for them. I just received a call from their collection agency who said if I do not pay $17 of interest charges immediately they will put this on my credit report any day. They will not give me any time to discuss with Zoom Care, and say that Zoom Care is directing them to do this so there is no point to call them anyway. I wonder if this action is connected to their review response written only two days ago, which is incorrect in all asserted facts. While it is true that I *eventually* got better, my recovery was delayed significantly due to Zoom Care's poor treatment. More importantly, I am socked that Zoom Care would post public information with details of my care. I thought this was against the law! read more

As someone who frequents Zoom Care when necessary, I was extremely frustrated by my experience today. I set an appointment time two hours in advance and when I arrived, I was told that they did not have the technology necessary to help me. I was told that I needed to see a specialist. When I asked for a referral, they informed me that in order to refer me, I would need to pay the $150 co-pay to see a doctor. I explained how frustrating this was and asked why I didn't receive a phone call given that I described the issue in my appointment request. The lady at the front did end up calling one doctor and attempting to set up an appointment but, needless to say this was a very frustrating experience. read more

Went in for a last minute check-up on a Sunday night. Appreciated the following points: 1- online scheduling 2- service I received from the Nurse Practitioner (NP) was really great 3- conveniently located in my neighborhood...though other locations were close alternatives too. 4- i had to pay out-of-network fees, but as a result I've already covered my deductible for the year. (silver linings and all that) 5- NP printed out supplemental materials for me to go home with me Downside: though online they say you can get your prescriptions onsite too, but not as extensive of a RX list as would be convenient I'd definitely go back if I was in a bind and couldn't get into to see my doctor or go to my in-network urgent care. read more

I have to say that I was incredibly weary of going to a place that wasn't "Swedish" or some big name hospital. After I called Swedish 6 times to help me get care after a minor car accident this morning I finally gave up and found out about ZOOM through my insurance carrier. The concept of the place is very new to me in many ways. Its very immediate and electronic. I like that. And same day appointments, who doesn't like those. The facility is clean, bright and inviting. A nice departure from the demure, taupe-land of hospitals. My visit with the doctor was thorough and informative. I need someone to be on my level and explain things to me kindly and completely. I am very picky about doctors with big egos who don't understand they are at YOUR service. I left feeling like I had answers. No attitudes or alt-motives. BLESSED BE! read more

I've come here a few times due to the same day scheduling and convenient location, they dont have any MDs on staff, so you'll be seeing a PA or ND. I've had positive experiences with all the staff though, my issues are with their admin and logistics. The first time I went I was overcharged by $150. I was able to be refunded but I only noticed due to discrepancies with my insurance billing, and I could have easily missed it. I'm sure this has happened to other people that didnt double check that the amount was right (because usually it's impossible to know ahead of time for medical costs). They only have someone that can draw blood there for half the week, and they don't publicize or warn you ahead of time for these days. If you'll need a blood draw call ahead to make sure the phlebotomist is there. I made an appt to get a blood test done, went to the appt just to be told that they couldn't do it and I'd have to make another appt at another location for a different day. Why didnt they tell me this ahead of time?? Why did they let me make an appt for something they couldn't do?? Incredibly frustrating and a waste of my time. read more

I ran out of BC and discovered my prescription had expired on a Sunday. My doctor and Planned Parenthood are both closed on Sundays, so I started panicking. I called Zoom Care, the only place that was still open at 3:45pm on Sunday, and got an appointment at 4:15pm. I filled out some paperwork, gave them my insurance, and was out of there with what I needed by 4:35pm. The nurse practitioner was awesome and hilarious. 10 stars, Zoom care, 10 stars. read more

I walked into Zoom at about 9, the PA (Dana Ball) was able to see me at 9:45! She had such great bedside manner, great PA. She made me feel extremely comfortable. I had my blood drawn by Claire, who was wonderful! I usually become very lightheaded when I have my blood drawn, so they gave me a Pedialyte. They are so caring and patient! Fast, friendly, professional service. They answered all my questions and never made me feel like an "annoying patient" for asking (the way some doctors do, unfortunately). My insurance covered my visit, and the Rx direct from them was actually *less* than my normal Rx copay! And they can send your records on to your primary care physician, too. I love this office and the staff here! I don't have a primary care doctor because I find Zoomcare so efficient and wonderful at helping me when I'm not feeling well. I went once for problems related to plantar fasciitis and was able to get a recommendation to see a physical therapist. The last two times I've been to the office I've seen Johnetta. She's FANTASTIC!!! Super nice and very knowledgable! The first time she helped me it was for a sinus and ear infection. I went in feeling just awful. She listened to what was wrong, diagnosed me and sent me on my way with an antibiotic prescription. Within a week I was feeling so much better! Last week I went in to talk to her about some trouble I was having breathing while exercising. I had never had breathing problems before so I was very concerned about what was happening when I went in. Again, she carefully listened to what was wrong, asked questions and diagnosed me accordingly. I left with a treatment plan that I've been using for several days now and I feel amazing! No issues breathing when I exercise anymore. She even wrote a message to me today to check in to see if I was experiencing relief from my prescriptions and treatment plan. How thoughtful is that?! Normally, I'm not a fan of doctors or visits to the doctor's office. But I honestly don't mind visiting ZoomCare and talking with Johnetta. This office has earned my trust and made it easy to stop in for a visit. And did I mention how easy it is to schedule an appointment? I usually call the night before I plan to go in, talk to someone on the phone and they schedule an appointment for me the next day. Last time I called at 8pm and had an appointment scheduled for 8am the next morning. So easy. No long week waits to get in. And when I get into the lobby of the office, I'm never waiting more than a few minutes before I get to go back to begin my appointment. Long story short, this is a great office. I feel lucky to have this kind of efficient and effective care... normal doctors don't have appointments and make you wait long past your scheduled time, exam is rushed, and your prescriptions are filled elsewhere with another long line. If you have State health insurance don't go here. I wasn't informed they don't accept my insurance until AFTER my appointment which consisted of them only telling me exactly what i already knew. I only went in to get an Xray and it turns out they don't do those either. I should've researched it more in retrospect but I would think a place would inform you it's coming out of your pocket 100% before you go in for an appointment. This is pretty much the worst care you could find. Please avoid zoom care and see a proper doctor with your medical problem. I came in over a year ago with a bad cut in my hand. I figured it would be convenient to stop in to zoom care because it was close and they could see me immediately. The unexperienced healthcare staff who saw me (NOT a doctor) put in some pretty painful stitches. I reported right away that my thumb was numb. You know what they do in the ER when that happens? They send you immediately to a hand surgeon, because it means you have nerve damage. At zoom care, they shrug and sew up your open nerve, then tell you to monitor it after the follow up call, then suggest maybe seeing a hand surgeon two weeks later when they take out the stitches. In short, i had to have hand surgery, but thanks to zoom care i got there too late and will never regain feeling in my thumb. I also suffered through an incredibly painful few weeks as i went about my business with a raw, open nerve in my stitched hand. Go to a real doctor. They charge you more for a reason. read more
