Unbelievable. I sprained my back and was in a massive amount of pain, so I wanted immediate medical attention. I talked with customer service, who quoted me a few hundred dollars for a visit and an x-ray on the same day. The office is in a busy neighborhood, it was rush hour, and we were 9 minutes late. I called before the appointment was to commence and let them know - no worries, they said. When I checked in, the person at the desk said they needed to reschedule me to 3+ hours later. No policy around that that I saw before or since. Then she said my visit would be upwards of $500. Needless to say, I walked (or rather, limped) out and will never return. I had a deeply frustrating experience with Zoomcare. While I was literally on my way to an appointment, they called to cancel it because they realized they didn't accept my insurance. Fine -- disappointing, but understandable. What wasn't understandable was what came next: I offered to pay out of pocket, a clearly stated option on their website, but was told I couldn't -- simply because they now knew I had insurance. That's absurd. Being informed should not disqualify a patient from using self-pay, especially when the alternative is canceling care altogether. The policy makes no sense and the last-minute cancellation was a waste of time, gas, and patience. I expected better. read more

Everything! Staff was competent, prompt, friendly. It's a wonderful community service to have weekend appointments. Much more nimble and responsive than standard medical care organizations. No frills, relaxed, no fish tanks, just good easily accessible professional medical care for routine issues. Also had the opportunity to utilize a comprehensive Zoom facility for additional testing. Again, excellent attentive medical providers, less hoops to jump through, much faster access to care. Stellar service to have for the community. I realize there may be hiccups with individual clinics but the overall concept of a nimble, responsive, easy to access to medical services is much needed. read more

While the care I got from Zoomcare was good, my problems were with the billing. When I was visiting from Arizona, I had a problem that required a visit to one of their urgent cares. Then the next day I had to go to one of their super centers. I was told by the person on the phone that it was an urgent care center with some emergency room capabilities. When I arrived, I was told I was out of network and would have to pay full price. I called my insurance right then, and was told my copay for out of network was $65 for an urgent care or $140 for an ER. I told this to the receptionist before I used their services, saying to her that either way they billed it, I would be covered. She did not tell me that it could be a problem. Then I got a bill for the whole cost, $788. When I called billing, the woman on the phone told me they were a "specialty office", not an urgent care or ER, so my insurance wouldn't cover. I was never told this by the receptionist before my visit. When I asked to speak to a supervisor, I was told that supervisors didn't take phone calls, and it was not possible to email them either. When I asked who owned Zoomcare, I was told they didn't have to give out that information. I have never dealt with an organization before that didn't give you the chance to speak to someone higher in the chain about a problem. This lack of recourse to settle my issues is the main reason that I am giving Zoomcare one star. read more

Doctor was straight up not listening to what I was telling her and was literally wrong about what I was telling her was the issue I was in about for a diagnosis/opinion on. I don't claim to know more than medical professionals but I expect a doctor to listen to me, a paying customer, telling them what the issue is before writing me a referral to one of their partner offices for an expensive test. I have been utilizing ZoomCare for several years. I am an Oncology Certified Nurse of 30 years and an RN for 40 years. I'm very well qualified to judge patient care and patient service. Every time that I have came to ZoomCare, whether in person or in a video visit, they have been stellar. I have never been made to wait longer than expected and two years ago, a ZoomCare ARNP saved my life by directing me to an ED when my symptoms alerted her to sepsis and early renal failure because my mind was affected by the condition. If people are displeased with ZoomCare, namely this location, I am dubious as to their assessment. read more

Terrible, awful, dreadful place. Had the AUDACITY to forget my insurance card, and they wouldn't see me...even when I offered to pay out of pocket! Was having a serious problem that needed immediate attention. Sorry. Called up my insurance information on my phone...not good enough. Finally found screen shot of card. Then was told I missed my appointment time anyway, and they were having a staff meeting at 10 so, too bad. Incidentally, missed appointment fee is $50. Unbelievable. Obviously they could care less about you as a patient. Asked on my way out what they would have done if I was bleeding to death, and was told sweetly, and with a smile, they'd call 911. Easy to schedule an appointment through their posted phone number. I waited less than one minute to be seen when I arrived. Friendly staff and providers. Easy to talk to and efficient service and care. No surprise billing for me. I was clear with them that I was paying cash and the fee mentioned over the phone of $263 for the visit for cash patients matched the fee when I paid at the office. They even offered to split payments if I wanted - which I just paid the full price. They even had my prescription available on site so I didn't have to send over to a pharmacy, wait a few hours, then drive and wait in line....... I paid $15 for my prescription and they gave it to me on spot. Super easy and wonderful experience. I'd return for any medical needs. read more

BE AWARE OF PRICING! Ask the receptionist or insurance policy before making a clinic visit. For the same clinic visit, Uninsured patient pay $189 and my bill with Insurance before discount was $407, more than double the price of an uninsured patient. Called the billing department to resolve issue. Unfortunately the response was, it's patient's responsibility to know the cost of the visit with their insurance policy, so billing was not able resolved the issue. This was my first time visiting ZoomCare and I was not expecting with insurance, my visit would cost double than an uninsured patient. It would be nice for the receptionist to explain upfront about the cost, especially if they are aware of the issue and are responding to that I am seeing on their review, many comments are about the pricing! read more

I went in for a suspected sprain only for them to tell me they couldn't tell by looking at it but don't have an x-ray machine so they sent me to South Lake Union. They sent me out on crutches but they don't have AN ACCESSIBLE DOOR. A stranger on the street was faster to help me with the door than the staff or anyone in the waiting room. After I got X-rays at SLU, they told me I'd get results in my email in 24 hours, so I still don't know what's wrong and will be surprised if they even treat or diagnose it. Super pleased with my visit. They don't do walk-ins but take same day appointments. There was availability so I was able to see one in 30 minutes. You can call or make an account online and schedule. The clinic is very clean. They also have on site tests available. Sometimes the assistant might not be phlebotomy trained so you may have to go to another clinic for blood tests if you want to continue seeking care on the same day or come back to this site another day. I saw Rananda and she was very kind and patient with my questions. I don't know the name of the front desk assistant but she too was very kind as well. I never felt rushed throughout the entire process. Would gladly come back here again! I don't know about the parking situation since I walked here but it's in the heart of Cap Hill on Broadway. 5-6 min walk north of the light rail. Keep in mind that there is a new patient fee so treat this as a physician's office as it's not your usual urgent care clinic. Fortunately, my insurance covered it. read more

Do not go to Zoom care! They over bill for their services and tack on test that are not authorized. I took my daughter for a strep test only and the cost of the appointment was $575.00 for a 10 minute office visit. They charged $411.00 for the office visit. The strep test was $40.00. They then added a flu panel which I did not ask for them to do that cost $125.000 this brought the bill to the $575.00. I contacted their billing department and was told that I had to fill out additional paperwork to dispute the charge. They were not helpful at all. We are stuck with a bill of $310.69 as the insurance only covered $265.31. This is absolutely unacceptable that a business can charge this for a simple office visit to test for strep throat. This place is not only a total rip off but they subscribed UNNECESSARY antibiotics to my child. I selected "ear was removal" when booking the appointment. When we got there, I was told the 15 min appointment time was not long enough to remove the earwax. So without being able to see the eardrum to confirm an infection, they decided a 99 degree temp was enough to warrant antibiotics. I expressed my concern over that course of treatment as my child has never had to have antibiotics before and to protect their gut health and the effectiveness of antibiotics, etc., I want to save antibiotics for when they are really truly needed. The Dr. just said they are needed here. I had lingering doubts so took my child a couple days later at an actual pediatric clinic. They removed the earwax and confirmed there was NO INFECTION. To top it off, our 15 min earwax removal appointment with ZoomCare was $300 for absolutely no value whatsoever - they didn't remove the earwax and prescribed unnecessary antibiotics. read more

I took my husband to the Lynnwood [ Alderwood ], WA ZoomCare on Thursday, January 23rd 2025. I called ZoomCare main phone number to make an appointment, make sure that the facility had X-Ray capability and also that they were in our insurance network. We were told that it did have X-ray machine, and the ZoomCare was in our insurance network and took our insurance. I drove him to the clinic, Michael Li [PA] thought my husband might be suffering with Pneumonia but there was no x-ray machine to take a chest x-ray to confirm. We were asked to dive to their Woodinville clinic for the X-ray. they made an appointment for x-ray at 2pm. I drove 45 min to Woodinville ZoomCare clinic to find out that it was closed, they all were at lunch and will be back in 15 [2:10pm] minutes or so. After waiting in car we got a message from that clinic that " Cigna, Humana and United Healthcare are temporarily out of network at this clinic". we went inside the clinic and they confirmed that they did not take our insurance. We did not get any X-rays. We were extremely disappointed and frustrated with ZoomCare. We wasted almost whole day chasing this so called urgent care. By calling ZoomCare with all the questions prior to taking my husband there I thought I did everything right, but ZoomCare failed to provide any service. My husband was very sick and exhausted with no conclusion. Next day went to our PCP clinic in the Overlake Bellevue clinic and he was admitted in hospital. good doctors listen to what you have to say and try t treatment as best as they can but they say they accept your insurance and it even may include them on the list you were given but your insurance does not accept them as a real practice. the insurance no matter who you have will only pay 40% after zoom haggles them. do not go here unless you can pay 200-350 per visit. read more

I'm updating my review of this place to two stars. The reason is because I went in originally for an ear infection. However when I went the person who saw me was very curt and rushed. I mentioned that I was having issues with both ears but he only helped with the more severe issue. To his credit he diagnosed it right and gave me antibiotics which worked. When he looked at the other ear he noted the issue but didn't remark further and ended our meeting after 5 minites. However the issue on the other ear became worse and I had to visit another different zoomcare two weeks later to get it resolved. Therefore I feel he didn't fully take care of me at the time and had to use another visit another clinic to get full relief which is a shame and waste. read more

TL;DR: I scheduled an appointment two days in advance and the morning off zoom care canceled my appointment because they double booked it. No effort to rectify the situation. I've been to zoom care a few times and I have always been pretty satisfied with the service I received, even though the appointments often feel rushed since the providers only have 15 minute slots to see you. I figure this is the trade-off for the convenience of having same-day appointments. However, they really screwed the pooch this time. I had been in pain for a few days before I decided this wasn't getting better on its own and I decided to go to zoom care. Even though I had scheduled online, when I got there I had to wait for 30 minutes. OK, whatever. I was just glad I could be seen. The doctor was great, she listened to me well and prescribed me three medications. They seem to work pretty well so when I was running low on one of the meds, I called to see if I could get a new script. I was told that I had to send a message through the online patient portal. I sent a message on Monday morning and didn't receive a reply until Wednesday afternoon, the day before Thanksgiving. I was told I had to see a doctor in order to get a new script. They were not open on Thanksgiving. Totally understandable. Friday was my son's birthday which was my priority for that day. I scheduled an appointment for Saturday morning, two days in advance. Then on Saturday morning I get a phone call canceling my appointment, because they double booked it. I doubt that the other person booked before me, so why did I get kicked off the books? No morning appointments available anywhere near me and because I'm still in quite a bit of pain I can't sit in the car for longer than 15 minutes. So I had to book an appointment for the afternoon, which meant that my husband had to change his plans. The scheduler I spoke to over the phone really did not seem to care about my situation. She didn't know what happened with my morning appointment and there was nothing she could do to help me other than reschedule me. Needless to say, I'm pretty disappointed. Zoom care prides itself on their convenient scheduling and availability and then they just cancel your appointment without any effort to rectify the situation. read more

Throughout the appointment, she was hasty and condescending, as if she thought I didn't know my own body and was rushing to get me out of there. She jumped to conclusions without letting me finish speaking and left me with more questions and no answers while I was still worried and in pain. She just recommended me to go to a bigger hospital. I was charged over $1000 for a simple test I've received before on different occasions at various clinics and subpar "care" from a provider. I did not even receive a notification or call about my lab results and only found out about the results because my pharmacy notified me... no transparency for cost or my own health?? for this type of treatment, I was charged over $1000? Randomly increase their prices after you visit, then blame insurance despite a note on their invoices clearly saying that they will let you know if the estimated price changes in the end. I just moved to Seattle and I needed to update prescriptions locally. I made an appointment with Zoomcare Queen Anne. When showed up for my appointment I was told that I could not be seen because I had insurance that they did not accept. I was willing to pay for services and they refused me. I am out of high blood pressure meds and I am needing a new prescription. I scheduled an appointment with a physician that accepts my insurance but the first appointment available is in January. Not-so-"urgent" care. ZoomCare used to take walk-ins, which was great. At that time, they fulfilled their promise: "ZoomCare--urgent care for those who hate to wait. From STI testing to stitches to UTI treatment, we give you the care you need, exactly when you need it." Nothing on their website says that they no longer take walk-ins. The website does provide the ability to make an appointment, but it doesn't say that you *have* to make an appointment. I thought the point of urgent care is that you can visit the provider when you need them. So, I went to the Capitol Hill ZoomCare on a Saturday when a persistent cough worsened. I don't have a car so it was a long walk to get there. Although the web site shows their weekend hours as 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., the receptionist told me as soon as I arrived that they were closing for lunch. I was pretty annoyed, but I immediately used my phone to schedule an appointment for 5:00 p.m. that day. When I arrived at 5:00 after the same long walk, they did not have my appointment in their system. I don't know why. I was certain that I scheduled it because I saw the confirmation screen at the end of the process. I didn't think to screencap it, of course--why would I?--so when they asked if I had a confirmation e-mail, I acknowledged that I didn't. If you schedule an appointment, take a screencap of the confirmation page *and* check to make sure you got an e-mail confirmation. If you didn't, you might not be in their system. The next available appointment was the following morning. After yet another long walk, I was able to see the provider. The visit was fine. I was pretty irritated, though, that it took three trips and nearly twenty-four hours to see a provider there. "ZoomCare Urgent Care is for those who hate to wait." I broke my wrist in a scooter accident, and the first place that was recommended to me was Zoomcare. I limped in to the Ballard location and told them what happened. They refused to see me on the grounds that I didn't have my ID and insurance card. I told them that I had just been in an accident and didn't have either one. Keep in mind that my wrist is mangled and only getting more swollen by the minute. Come to find out they couldn't have helped me even if I had my ID and insurance card. If you have an emergency, you're better off going to the ER. The way the staff left me in the waiting room and gossiped in the back until I left made me feel helpless and embarrassed. I had my scooter with me, but had no possible way of moving it to get out of their establishment and they offered absolutely no help with the door. Too bad zero stars is not an option. read more

Started feeling under the weather while staying in Seattle. Given that this was our home away from home, I wasn't sure where to go. So I did a quick Google search for urgent care clinics and found this was the closest one to our rental. The scheduling process was kind of irritating. I tried scheduling online which should've been easy. I filled out all the fields, including inputting my insurance and credit card info. Yet, when I tried to correct a field, it wouldn't let me. After I was done, I had concerns that my appointment reservation wasn't saved, so I called their number to verify. Sure enough, my appointment wasn't saved. The calling part was the most irritating. The number listed for this clinic seems to be part of a regional call center as the area code was in Oregon and you have to press a number to reach a person. I called twice and hung up after waiting for over 5 minutes for someone to answer. The third time I called, someone answered after 6 minutes but after saying a few words, the line disconnected. The fourth time someone answered at the 7 minute mark. She said my appointment wasn't saved but what was truly crazy was that she had my insurance info already in the system... Although she eventually scheduled my appointment, I gotta say that this lady was a bit unprofessional and seemingly new at her job. She wasn't mean but just didn't seem to know what she was doing and forgot to provide info I asked, until I reminded her.... at which time she said "oh yah, I was going to get to that." She was also clearly reading from a script at one point. Anyway, despite the issues above, I had a decent/good experience at the clinic. The clinic appeared very tidy and newly renovated. Further, the PA who assisted me was friendly and thorough. He didn't diagnose me with anything but I felt like he did his best. I went to ZoomCare in Queen-Anne to see if I could get an anti-viral and a Covid test result after showing a 101.5 fever, having sinus problems like swelling and dizziness when I blow my nose, and yellow mucus. I go in and I wait for a bit and then I get my name called. Long story short, the NP told me to alternate between tylenol and advil. No anti-viral, nothing to actually tackle the virus I had, just control the fever I had. The NP told me that because I had a low temperature there was nothing to do. When I told the NP that my temperature was low because of me already taking tylenol and advil and that it doesnt acrually tackle the issue, all the NP told me was that if my fever didn't react to tylenol and advil then it would be a problem. This makes no sense. The NP then told me to call them back after my Covid test result to which I asked why would I need to do that if my Covid test will be back right away. That wasn't the case. Turns out they don't do rapid covid tests, even though other clinics do. I told them I live with my parent whose on chemotherapy and another family member whose in his 70's so I need the result now. The only answer I got was if I was really concerned then I should buy a rapid Covid test from Walgreens. A day and a half later my Covid test came back positive and my family members got Covid too. I called ZoomCare for next steps since I was told that my NP would call me if my result came back positive: the NP never called me. After playing phone tag with the front desk for a bit I get a call from a physician assistant, who seemed totally uninterested in talking, told me to keep a mask on for 5 days after my last fever and that was the only follow up instructions. I asked her if she's aware of what strain my Covid was to which the assistant said no and that CDC doesnt track strains anymore. Which doesn't make sense since the CDC has said a subvariant of Omnicron was making the rounds in the Pacific Northwest. Overall, the quality of care was very subpar and the lack of concern about Covid feels apathetic. I should've gone to CVS Minute Clinic instead where I would've gotten real treatment. read more

I was able to get a same day appointment here super easily for a follow up on a procedure I had done in a different state that wasn't healing right. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful with scheduling my appointment over the phone. Check in once I got there was simple and I was taken back right away. The doctor I saw was so kind and helpful, she explained exactly what had gone wrong (my cut from a surgery had gotten infected). The antibiotic cream and oral treatment that the doctor prescribed me was available at the clinic so I didn't have to worry about going elsewhere to get a prescription filled which was great. I had the most amazing psychologist named Molly. She changed my life for the better in ways I can not begin to describe. It took me years to find someone I felt comfortable with. Years to find someone I felt like I was actually making progress with. One day I was notified that she was 'removed from the company', and when I asked what I can do they just told me to find someone else. Clearly the people that run this company have no idea what it means to be a health care professional. You don't just "find someone else". It is an excruciating process. Especially for mental health. I am absolutely gutted that I can not contact her to see where she will be working next so that I can resume my care. If anyone needs mental health resources, this is not the place to find them. They do not care about their customers, and from what I have heard they do not care about their employees either. read more
