So Jeff and his team were recommended to me by friends who had just used them to move them from Mesa to Phoenix. Here's what I was told: they were on time, efficient, priced fairly, and safe with all their valuables. So I thought I'd give them a shot. We were just moving our small apartment to our new home in Arcadia. Jeff was early to the job which was helpful, and communicated exactly what was needed prior to him showing up. He had these super helpful boxes (picture attached) with a little rack that you could keep clothes on the hangers and just hang them inside the box! Everything else was exactly as advertised: on time, efficient, moved with caution, and priced well! It was also a super quick move so we could get started unpacking fairly quickly! We had a cross country move to execute in a tight frame (Northern California to Central Indiana). Jeff and Nathan packed and labeled all the boxes and items, and then loaded 2 ea. 26 ft. trucks. All this in 1 "long" day. They unloaded both trucks in 1 "long" day at the destination. Furniture was placed in the right rooms, boxes were placed in the rooms, it all went smooth and fast. I saw one previous bad review, our experience was nothing like that one described in that review. Zook Moving arrived on time and delivered on time. Both Jeff and Nathan were professional and careful with our belongings and in the management of the moving process. And the cost was an easy 25-30% less than a well known big-name mover that will here go nameless! :-) Thanks again guys! read more

Jeff Zook's moving company is second to none. He and his moving partner, Nate? were friendly, professional and extremely efficient. Jeff is all business while working, very focused and precise. I had a 10x20 storage unit that he had to reorganize and repack to fit all of our things. He basically fit a 2100+ sq ft home into this space by utilizing the height of the unit. I don't think any other company would have taken on the challenge, but he did it willingly and and even had space to spare! We were so impressed and extremely grateful for his ability to accomplish such a feat! We highly recommend Zook Moving Company and will call him again when it's time to move! read more

Jeff and his team were great. Came early, moved quickly, and got everything loaded smoothly. They had to make several trips because we had a lot of things to move, and were very accomodating, which we really appreciated. I recommend these movers to others due to fair prices, good work ethic, and down to earth friendliness. They also came in on short notice so that was also a plus. What can I say about Zook Moving? First interesting name. Second they send two young adults to do the unloading of my pod unit. Three they were fantastic and by fantastic I mean crazy efficient, super fast, very courteous, and strong but the non bulky strong. They never stopped moving but to take a sip of water. They were very cautious around the walls as they took things upstairs. Very protective of our furniture and the boxes marked fragile. They were fantastic. And after watching them I am so glad I just paid them to do it. I would be in so much pain and be so sore if I was doing all of that. Thank you so much Zook Moving. I needed to move a 700 pound gun safe ASAP. Called Jeff and he picked it up and delivered it the same day in under an hour - for an incredibly fair price. Wow! He was very patient and careful helping me set it up as well. He definitely knows something about customer service which is becoming increasingly rare. I hired Zook to unload my storage unit and pack a truck headed for TN. I scheduled the truck to coincide with the appointment time Jeff Zook gave me. I explained that the driver gives 2 hours for them to load, then they start charging an hourly fee for waiting. As time passed, they did not show up. I received a text after they were late, saying they would be finished the earlier job in another hour. I explained that the driver only gives a 2 hour load window, as we previously discussed. Jeff Zook responded "that's how it goes sometimes". Not even a simple apology. As more time passed, the driver became impatient and I had to reach out again, asking where they were. He told me they had 2 more items to unload and they would be on their way. Still nothing. I tried calling, and it went to voicemail. After another text, I was told they were on their way. Still nothing. By now, the driver had waited several hours and I had to pay a no show fee. I had no one to load the truck. After reaching out again, I was informed that his loaders were involved in an accident. He "didn't know what to tell me". The storage place was kind enough to call around. They even called Jeff Zook and he told them he "spoke with someone and we rescheduled". That never happened, nor would it. His lack of professionalism cost me hundreds extra, as I had to reschedule the truck to come back. Another company, State 48 Moving, will be there to load the truck for me. read more
