The place was packed, but we got a table right away and she was there to assist within minutes. Food was excellent. Had the Redbird Chicken Sandwich with waffle fries and this was one of the best sandwiches of its kind that I have had in a ling time. Great Job!!

We were a lively group of seven, and after our meeting we even celebrated my birthday. From the moment we walked in, I was impressed. The restaurant is bright, inviting, spacious, and has a warm, modern atmosphere that immediately makes you feel comfortable. The food was outstanding! Our table enjoyed a delicious variety of favorites, including Elote Nachos, Shrimp Ceviche, Mac & Cheese with Chicken, and several Happy Hour entrées. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. And if you visit, do yourself a favor--order the Margarita with Tajín (that perfect blend of mild chile, lime, and salt). It was absolutely delicious! What truly made our experience memorable, however, was the exceptional hospitality. Manager Edmont and our server Olivia treated us like old friends from the moment we arrived. They were attentive, fun, and genuinely made us feel welcome. The highlight? Edmont surprised us by leading our group in the Tucson High Badger Fight Song after learning we were alumni! Talk about going above and beyond. To top off a wonderful evening, we shared a warm Cinnamon Roll Bread Pudding complete with a birthday candle--a sweet ending to a fantastic celebration. Redbird isn't just serving great food; they're creating memorable experiences. I also appreciate that they partner with local businesses, something that speaks volumes about their commitment to our Tucson community. If you're looking for a wonderful place for Happy Hour, dinner with friends, or your next celebration, put Redbird Scratch Kitchen + Bar on your list. Stop by--and tell them the Badgers sent you!

Friends at work have recommended this place and so glad I came to meet a friend for lunch here!…read more It's one of a handful Native American cuisine restaurants in Tucson. Turning into the parking lot if you're heading south is a little tricky, but pretty big parking lot. We came at 12:45pm for lunch and it wasn't too busy, so not sure how packed or difficult parking is at dinner. Staff were friendly and they let us sit in our booth for greater than 2 hours since my friend and I were catching up and it wasn't too busy. They were a little behind in refilling my water cup, but otherwise, super friendly and you go up to the front desk to pay, at least that's what we did when we were done. Their menu offers a mix of Native American food and Mexican food, primarily a mix of popovers aka fry bread in replacement of tortillas for some dishes. I got the popover sample, which is a sample of their popover with green chile, red chili and refried bean taco. Their chili come with beef. It's a decent size if you're not starving and they also give free chips & salsa, so it was the perfect amount for me. The server said for the sampler, they take what's normally one large popover and split it into 3 pieces, so it gives you an idea of what one large popover size looks like. Definitely will be back to the other items!

We made a reservation well in advance and even then there were limited time options. The atmosphere of the restaurant is slightly upscale while still being cozy. I love all the plants! Our server was very knowledgeable and was able to give several recommendations. We ordered the grilled and chilled beets and the steak skewers for appetizers. The beets and everything that came with them was very fresh! I love anything with pickled onions. The steak appetizer was excellent and my dad could not stop talking about them. Next, I ordered the swordfish special and my dad got the pork chop. Everything was cooked to perfection and flavor was everywhere! For dessert we split the dark chocolate ganache. The ganache was very rich but paired wonderfully with the whipped cream and other flavors. I don't drink, but my dad also loved the cocktails he ordered! If Tito & Pep has been on your list do not hesitate any longer. I very much regret not coming here sooner and I highly recommend giving it a try!
