The owner picked me up at baggage claim and took me to a hotel close by where is fleet is located. He coordinated getting the car seats so they were on site before I was. Did the paperwork and I was off. Very easy process and nice guy. The vehicles are a little older but my Suburban was in great shape. I had 6 people in it for a week and drove it through the mountains of Wyoming and had no problems. They maintain their fleet well. I will definitely use these folks again and highly recommend them.

They always greet you upon entry and not your typical, "Hey ya doing? greeting" - a nice warm greeting asking about your day and how they can genuinely help you. They also offered water while we were waiting & honestly, there was little to no wait whatsoever upon handing over the keys, and getting a quick inspection of the vehicle. The F150 Ford truck we rented ran fabulously and was in perfect condition - zero issues. We would certainly do it again. She didn't think the Nissan we rented was big enough for 2. It was actually big enough for 5. We were allowed to extend our rentals longer, with no problem. After we extended it, our relatives were visiting offered us the use of their car so Routes gave us a full refund for the days we didn't use when we returned it early. We were also charged a daily toll rate, although there were no tolls we crossed. We were also told it would be cheaper for them to refuel the car than to fill it up ourselves. We spent $20 filling the tank before returning it, and were charged $37.80 for fuel. The vehicle we were given had a broken trunk latch that appeared to be temporarily held together with a piece of metal. The trunk would unexpectedly open while driving, which created serious safety concerns. Overall, the pricing transparency and condition of the vehicle did not match what was promised at pickup. I would strongly recommend that future customers carefully review all charges in detail and inspect the vehicle thoroughly before driving off. Rent thought Sixt! They were wonderful and less than half the price of Routes for the same amount of days.

When we arrived, what I reserved wasn't available, reservation plans totally changed (that was my fault btw) and we had to wait BUT..... Madison and Reed Arao (he had black hair and looks similar to Chris hemsworth) did everything possible to make it right. They are the epitome of customer service and they deserve a raise! They handled my parents and I with extensive patience and understanding, and really made us feel like we were in great hands and never gave us the feeling we were a burden. The first time, I waited over 2 hours to get my car. I tried to brush it off, knowing there were events and sports tournaments in town, and it was a busy day for them. When I finally got a car and drove to the exit gate, I was turned around and told I had to switch it for another one. This most recent experience was somehow even worse. I arrived around 2 a.m. after a delayed flight and had to pay to take my own Uber because, apparently, Budget doesn't run a shuttle at that hour, while every other rental company does. After waiting over an hour in line (with only one associate working), I was told there were no EVs available. Fine, no problem. But then they told me the only vehicle they had for me was a 15-passenger van. I'm a 5'1" woman, and I felt completely unsafe driving such a large vehicle. Unfortunately, it was late, I was exhausted, and I had to be up in just a few hours for my event, so I had no choice but to take it. The van smelled awful, drives poorly, and was clearly not properly maintained. This was, without a doubt, my worst experience with Budget. I'm beyond disappointed with their lack of accountability and unwillingness to honor reservations that were made well in advance. The unprofessional attitude of the staff and their complete lack of effort to find a suitable solution for customers is unacceptable.

She tried to sell me insurance and prepaid gas as usual, the prepaid gas is actually a reasonable price and generally a good idea if you know you're going to go through a whole tank. My car was waiting for me around the side of the building, a 2015 Expedition with 1000 miles and almost all the options. It was in awesome shape and because it was a 4x4 it got us through some poor weather when coming back from Aspen. I saved over 50% by picking up the car here instead of the airport and I was able to return it to the airport location.

TOTAL SCAM ARTIST!!!…read more i rented a car from them and the rep joked with me saying "yea its super impotant to make sure you check your tires before you bring it back theyll ding you for it" super nice guy except the car i rented had a bubble on the tire.. 1 thats extremely dangerous and not road legal yet they still rented it to me and 2 when i returned it they ended up charging me for the tire. now if you know anything about cars bubbles arent random and occur from internal damage ( driving while flat, internal abrasions, or a flat out accident) none of these occured in my care. long story short they beg for our service but then do shady stuff like this. when i tried to argue it i was put on hold for half an hour then hung up on . told the internet was down call back in the evening, then flat out "i wasnt here call the number on the letter we sent you 2 weeks ago". its been 6 weeks nothing has been resolved in fact they told me to send pictures of the damages before i rented it like i didnt pick it up on a snow day. i still dont know what tire or where but i do know it has nothing to do with me i just paid for it.... 10/10 i highly dont recommend. just go with turo and save the headache dealing with scammers

I was told by the man that answered (sounded older) that he would NOT rent manual to anyone who asks for it. No, I'm not kidding. That's a thing. I asked why and he said it's because it often rented by people learning manual and they ruin his cars. I explained that I know how to drive it and I'm in my 30s (not some 20 year old). He didn't care. According to some of the other complaints I've read on here, he randomly rents them to people who DO NOT want manual. What kind of business policy is this????? DO NOT RENT FROM THIS PLACE!!!
