I needed to exchange the vehicle I initially rented and due to the shortage of the type of vehicle I needed, AWD, I was going to have to keep my original rental. I was told the later in week that they were going to be out of the vehicle I wanted, however in the end they were able to rent to me the car I desired and it was the perfect for my needs. While we had to wait a little bit to get our car, initially, because there was a shortage of cars in the Denver area, including this location (and zero cars at the airport) - once we got our vehicle all lined up, everything went great. The staff was kind. All of the gentleman working were very helpful & customer service driven. We were in and out within 40 minutes. Our return was a cakewalk. In fact, Chris Morris was amazing. They always greet you upon entry and not your typical, "Hey ya doing? greeting" - a nice warm greeting asking about your day and how they can genuinely help you. They also offered water while we were waiting & honestly, there was little to no wait whatsoever upon handing over the keys, and getting a quick inspection of the vehicle. The F150 Ford truck we rented ran fabulously and was in perfect condition - zero issues. We would certainly do it again. We would highly recommend this location for their customer service and we'll definitely rent from them again based on our experience with Chris and the team on E 6th Ave in Aurora, CO! 5-stars read more

Remember the Seinfeld episode where they say the company knows how to take reservations but doesn't know how to hold them? It must be based on this location of Enterprise. I had a reservation for months. I had a card on file. I checked in ahead of time confirming I was coming in for the vehicle. I signed the waivers. They had a way to charge me if I would have abandoned my reservation. But did they hold my reservation? Nope. They gave it away. The manager kept saying that corporate should have cut off reservations, and maybe that's true. However, since mine had been made so far in advance, mine should have taken priority and been honored. Now, instead of enjoying my trip, I am wasting a day hanging out in an uncomfortable little waiting area arguing for my reservation to be honored so I'm not stranded. Trips aren't cheap and there should be compensation for ruining trips for people. A woman I met in the waiting room had been delayed over 24hrs because they gave her reservation away. Additionally, she spent several hours waiting for a replacement to be flagged down. You'd think they would drop off the vehicle at her convenience after putting her through all of that, not waste her day in an Enterprise. I am over 2 hours into waiting for my reservation to be honored. They just now pulled up with a vehicle after the manager tried several times to get me to drive to the mountains in a Toyota Camry. Not a safe thing to push at all. I've never seen such a poorly run Enterprise, and I've used them consistently, even in PR during spring break. It's absolutely insane. read more

If there is a zero I would like choose it. Alamo sounds like belongs to Enterprise. We recently rented a SUV for a mountain trip. In a downhills when I stepped on the brakes the car started shaking. We pulled over and called them. They suggested us go to a nearby Enterprise to shift the rental car. We did and were told that there was no rental car for us, instead they directed us to an Auto Shop to change the shakes rooters with one hour. We then went to the Auto Store, they changed the shakes rooters with 3 hours. It was an awful experience wandering out with raining and cold weather. So far, no one in the company contacted us about this issue. Please be aware their rental may risk you to death. read more

It was hideous. They "found" hail damage on the top of the vehicle and not on the hood. Their process of checking car in and out very inconsistent to the point of fraudulent. The young lady who checked it out to me just walked around the car and took pictures. She did not look at the roof of the vehicle because she would have had to open a car door. She also did not use a black and white stripped sheet that is suppose to show hail damage. It was also an overcast day. When I brought it back, a very tall gentleman took this big round stripped circular device to look at the vehicle. I had never seen this item or process before so I did ask him what he was doing. He said that it is the way they find hail damage. Two very different processes. They of course, found hail damage on the roof only. I let my insurance know about what had gone on and telling them it was fraudulent. I had the vehicle 2 weeks and only put on 49 miles and parked in my garage. There was also a "manager" type of person while I was waiting for my ride that told the front desk.."They know there is alot of hail damage but keep renting them out". So, if you are renting from there, make sure they use this big black and white stripped circular gadget and follow them. Make sure every little dent is documented or they will be making a claim to your I surance. Will not be renting from them again. read more

Rented a car this weekend and once come back from the mountains to find out the windshield fluid wasn't working. We had to pull over and bye fluid only to find out the it wasn't that. So we had to drive down from vail in this crazy weather pulling over to try and pour fluid so we can see. I thought tif u had a car rental business you would at least make sure the basics work. They left me waiting for a car for over 30 minutes. Then drove me to another location 10 minutes away, and gave me a wreck of a car. I'm a Enterprise Plus member and they gave me a car with torn and worn seats, mud stains, a damaged left tire, and making noises. The car was unsafe, yet they put me in it. I won't return due to them putting profit over the safety of customers. No way this car should have been rented out. Check the pictures below. read more

They made a ton of reservations despite having no cars. I found this out after spending $30 on an Uber to their location. I then had to Uber back (another $30) to the airport. As far as I'm concerned, they owe me for both rides. While I was in the lobby figuring out an alternative I heard nothing but bad-mouthing other customers from the staff. People were understandably upset because Enterprise screwed them. The associates even recommended using a competitor since it's so bad. read more

Was JUST hung up on, intentionally, by Andrew at this location who stated he was an "assistant manager" when someone finally answered the phone. Picked up a vehicle here, drove it up to Vail and 3rd day in, which was a Sunday, walked out to the car having a flat. There were no Enterprise locations open to exchange the vehicle for a replacement vehicle due to it being Sunday and being advised by roadside assistance that we couldn't drive on the donut more than a 50 mile distance or go greater than 50mph, we would need a tow to the one location 76 miles away, but no tow trucks would respond for a tow requested by roadside assistance and the location too closed at the Eagle airport. We had no vehicle until the following day, Monday, which we picked up at the Silverthorn location. I was advised that we could return our exchanged vehicle to the Denver airport location without any additional fees. I confirmed this numerous times verbally and was repeatedly advised yes, drop off at the airport is fine and no additional charges would apply. I was also advised that since we did not have the use of a car for 1 day of our rental contract that a day would be credited upon drop off, yeah, that didn't happen. Well, my $370 rental turned into an over $800 rental when they closed the contract out today and charged my credit card, 9 days after we returned the vehicle. I was told by Andrew, the passive aggressive "assistant manager" at Aurora that nothing could be done, despite the misinformation. He suggested that I should've ignored the enterprise rep at Silverthorn and known better to return to Aurora. Is this a sound business practice to advise customers that other enterprise associates don't know what they're doing and I should know more than their own employees? It would make some sense considering the rep at Silverthorn suggested I take the vehicle with the donut on it to the tire shop around the corner myself and wait for them to determine if the tire could be patched. I don't believe I'm on Enterprises payroll and am supposed to handle repairs for their vehicles. It was odd, but I just chalked it up to them being short staffed and with a low inventory and politely declined their offer to use me as free labor. So, now what? I called to review this billing error, it took 8 calls before anyone answered at Aurora, was told by Andrew I should've known better that the rep provided misinformation and that is my problem and the additional $500+ dollar charge I need to just deal with and then Andrew sealed it off with a nice F you hang up. It's inconceivable to me that an organization who prides itself on excellent customer service employs in any managerial role someone like Andrew who willfully demonstrates his lack of managerial skills, ineptitude at engaging in high level customer service and displays proudly his lack of empathy, kindness and compassion for customers or the financial impacts of these billing errors. For some, that erroneous $500 charge means going without due to an unexpected, fraudulent charge. It's shameful. Already called customer care (they couldn't get anyone to answer at Aurora), called corporate and all that's being done is them emailing my concerns to the regional manager of the Aurora area which could take 3+ days for a reply, but even customer care couldn't, or is it more of a wouldn't, do anything additional. After many years utilizing Enterprise for business and pleasure travel, I think this may be the nail in the coffin. read more

I would stay away from this specific Enterprise. The cars they give you don't get any maintenance. I had a car that smelled like vomit, no floor mats, pre existing damage, the windshield looked like they used a dirty towel and I couldn't see through it. I even gave them a perfect score so they can get their raise or whatever they do with those surveys. read more

The staff was extremely friendly inside however the car was dirty not clean, not a good look with Covid. They took it around and brought it back just as dirty as it was before, there was barbecue smeared on the backseat along with dirt. I'm looking at the panel and it's completely smudged the windows are extremely dirty and when the sun hits it you cannot see. I don't know who they're detailers but perhaps they need a new one. Not only that I'm used to picking up a car on a full tank of gas so that I can return it the same way. This was in between some random lines. I definitely would not recommend this place. I guess I'm spoiled by budgets high-quality and clean cars. If this is clean I don't want to see dirty. Unfortunate because the inside staff was so friendly. read more

My main complaint is that I've made four phone calls and talked to three people trying to get my garage door opener back but I can't get them to mail it, tell me if they already mailed it. They won't answer the phone or can't. They don't return calls (I got told by two people they would call me back and they apparently couldn't be bothered). I won't be back here. read more

It wasn't the best experience, but not awful. We walked in for a rental because I was having my car serviced and the shop has a deal where they pay half the discounted rate of $28.99 for a day rental. Great deal but this location was not prepared for us and even though the auto shop had a confirmed reservation and the owner of the auto shop is who dropped me off... The enterprise staff did not have our reservation. They took care of us but at first we did feel like we offended them because we "didn't have a reservation." Plus the manager in training did not seem to know what the deal or discount was with the auto shop. He was nice and still accommodated us. It surprised how much more affordable it is to rent outside of the airport area. read more

They're always out of rental cars. However they do get you a good car very quickly, maybe the longest I've waited was 2 days? The cars are very clean on the inside. They do a walk around with you and show you all the marks and dents so you can also confirm with them that they've already existed. The staff are very friendly and quick to help you as much as possible. read more

Woman working today was curt and forced me to put the keys in the drop box, only speaking to me through a cracked door. I told her I needed a hard copy receipt and she wouldn't supply me with a receipt or supply me with a ride to the auto dealership blaming "covid" then as I was was standing out front waiting for my Uber she immediately came out and got the keys out of the drop box and checked the rental vehicle. I'll drive to another location next time.. it's a shame too because the gentleman that rented me the vehicle was very courteous and helpful. read more

We were scheduled to rent a Tahoe SUV for my sisters bachelorette weekend. However, early Friday morning, we got a call from Enterprise that the SUV we were supposed to have had been severely hail damaged. Layton and Caston were more than accommodating for us! They found us two upgraded mini vans and let us choose which one we wanted. They also waved the fee to add extra drivers onto the contract. Just leaving this location with our car. Our scheduled pick up time was 11:30am, but upon arrival there were 6 people in line and the man helping us was extremely flustered, saying they had no cars. The staff got our info finally around noon, and we watched as those who arrived after us were given free upgraded, new vehicles before we got ours. We are in a 2015 car with almost 40k miles. The car had no gas in it and we would have had to wait an extra 20min if we wanted them to fill it up. Car's tire pressure is different for each tire and obviously wasn't looked at before being given to us. Though we saved money compared to the airport and the people inside couldn't control the fact that they had no cars, we are now an hour and a half behind schedule and are stuck in an older model vehicle. Extremely disappointed in this service. No offer for upgrade or discount was made for the inconvenience. Very unprofessional. read more

Horrible experience, I've been upset about it all week. Long story short, I own a premium vehicle that I've worked very hard for. It's in the body shop on somebody else's dime. Me and the other persons insurance made reservations and confirmation for either a premium or full sized vehicle replacement at this specific location. The day comes when it's time for my rental. The clerk asks for my ID and a credit card, 2 forms of ID I figured. He swipes my bank card and then asks why it's declined. I asked why he swiped it without my permission and why he needed money. He claimed they needed 50$ deposit and we were informed of it. Nope we never were, not in the reservation or confirmation emails it was never stated nor were we called and told about it in a voicemail as he claimed. The clerk said he could have me driven back to the body shop where my vehicle was being worked on and I asked how that would help? For all I know its being pulled apart at that time. So after some negotiating I was able to get them to have a porter run me home for my credit card (I wasn't expecting to have to pay for anything) got back to the store got that all squared away. Saw my rental agreement say "full size" but felt the clerk was trying to keep it hidden for some reason. Then he gave me my choices. A Nissan Sentra, Kia Forte hatchback, Chevy Cuze or a Hyundai Elantra. No full sized or premium, all compacts. I asked where's the full sized I had reserved the week prior? And his answer was sorry but we rented out last full size yesterday, I said I reserved a full size and I expect to be given a vehicle comperable to my own as was stated by insurance which is why we "reserved" a vehicle. The clerk got irritated and said hey this is just to get you from point A to point B. I was very pissed off. They claimed they couldn't transfer any cars from nearby stores and I needed a car so I had to settle with the biggest car they had. The Nissan. I guess the clerk figured out I wasn't happy and suggested I call that night or the next morning to see if they have anything better available, are you kidding me? And have to go through more of This and deal with you people more than I have to? I just wanted to get away from the store so I said ok and left. This has been by far the worst experience I've had with any business ever, these people don't care about you or how you feel. I wouldn't be surprised if they were charging the insurance for a premium or full sized vehicle. Nothing but a bunch of crooks if you ask me. I'll never do business with enterprise again. read more

In town to visit our daughter and needed picked up from hotel in order to pick up car. Contacted enterprise they had driver at hotel within 15 minutes. The individual was very friendly once at location we received our car we reserved within a few minutes. Location was very busy but were efficient. We received the car we reserved the staff did try to sell us all the additional protection however he was not pushy, I informed him I checked with my insurance company and I did not need the additional coverage had me sign off on the coverage and off we went. I was a little hesitant since we dropped the car off on a Sunday and there was nobody available to make sure it came back in good condition however they were honest and charged only what was quoted. I always use enterprise and have no reason to change. Love the pick up service made it so easy. read more

Trying to charge me an extra $60 for coverage that I declined... not cool..... and now have to deal with the issue

This location used to be great, but the staff there last week--three people, two guys and a girl--was terrible and not the least bit friendly or helpful. When I got there, I followed two employees who had parked a minivan in the parking lot of the rental location next to another minivan; both of the minivans were fleet licensed, and having seen the minivans parked, I know that the employees had the keys to the vehicles. In any case, despite having a reservation, I was told that there were no cars available in the entire Denver metro area. I pointed out that I would take another car if the size I had rented was not available, but again, I was told that there were no other cars in the entire Denver metro area. I asked how that could be and how the girl knew that and she said she'd already called all the other locations; she told me I could call but she refused to call any herself while I was there. She just told me that she had already done that and that the best option would be for me to drive my own car instead of renting from them. When I asked about the minivans, the girl lied and told me that they were already rented and the location did not have keys to them. When I mentioned that I had seen the two guys in the minivan parking it, I was told that I shouldn't be offensive; apparently lying to a customer is not offensive but calling them out on a lie is. Calling customer service on my way home, I was told that there was nothing that corporate could do to get this location or any other to rent a car to me despite the inventory at the locations. I was also asked what was going on in the Denver area that so many people would rent cars--why would I know or care about this?! I wanted them to rent me a car, not ask me to come up with the reasons for their lack of cars or service. I spent over a half hour on the phone with customer service only to be told that the only car available was a Dodge Ram pickup truck for over $60 more than I had reserved an economy car. When I asked the customer service rep how he could think that was a good deal, I was told that I was getting a larger vehicle and should be understanding of the additional cost. Ariel is a very rude young lady. Quick to rush customers off phone and not get the full story . I asked if I could have someone wait just 5 minutes for me to arrive to give me a receipt and she refused and proclaimed I got upset when she stated no one could wait. She was not answering my questions and al.ost seemed peeved that I was asking questions about payment and expressed some concerns over a miscommunication for the auto repair that was paying my rental. I tried to save some money by booking at an off airport location. Turned up at the rental an hour later than my indicated booking time (flight delay) only to be told that my rental car was given away since I didn't turn up on time and my only option was to take a higher priced car that cost 5x!!! When I protested, the person said he can't do anything anyway since it was past closing time anyway! Rudest, nasty surprise I got at a car rental ever! How about a courtesy mesage or call to let me know my rental was being given away?! Or at least an attempt to find a replacement at another nearby Enterprise rental? Time for a new age, tech driven rental chain to enter the market- I will pay a premium to avoid the nasty humans at companies like Enterprise. read more

I had a very good first experience with my car rental from this location. Although an extremely busy location, the staff was overall very courteous and professional. Andrew tends to go over and beyond to ensure every customer is happy - even the very irate folks I saw there. Reserved an SUV a month in advance really hoping for a new Jeep Grand Cherokee to test drive for the week. Enterprise can't promise a specific model and the staff was very polite but clear on that on the repeated times I called, but said they'd be calling all the nearby Enterprise's to see if anyone had this car available. When we landed they didn't have the Jeep in stock but Jeff and Kimberly were as gracious as could be about making alternate arrangements. As I was trying to figure out the Nav on the Ford I was going to drive away with instead, a Jeep pulled in unexpectedly, and Jeff ran out to make sure he got my attention. Kimberly seemed even happier than I was to be able to set us up with the car of our choice. They rushed the turn around and within 15 minutes I was very happily driving away with my week-long test drive. As the snow was shutting down I-70 at Vail Pass I was very happy to be driving that Jeep. Great staff and great service! Thanks! read more

Not sure why they have low reviews, I had very good customer service and am currently unable to find anything else with a lower price. Lack of 5 stars simply due to: 1) they could not pick me up last time, however I reserved Friday evening (their busiest time) with very short notice and they were able to the next time. Due to the 1/2 hour I had to wait, they let me keep the car an extra hour, which ended up being an extra day because that was when they closed. 2) Not their fault but I am not a fan of the fact that as a 23 year old with a very clean driving record I have to pay under 25 fees ($15/day). UPDATE: I have been renting their cars on the weekends for several weeks now and since they closed at 1pm on Saturdays and closed on Sundays I was able to pay for 1 day and get it from Friday at 1pm until anytime before open on Monday (I even checked with them to make sure and they said this was OK). Last time I did this, however, they closed out the charge for 2 days without checking with me like they usually do, and I had to argue with them and ask to speak with the manager until they finally agreed to refund me 1 day, and now I will not be able to do that anymore even though they still have the same hours. If they had at least checked with me or told me that I could not do this anymore beforehand or even immediately agree to refund me, I would not be so upset. read more

Called yesterday morning to rent a car, for an insurance claim. Gave the young lady all the information she requested and we scheduled them to pick me up at home at 4:00 pm. At 4:20 I get a call saying they don't drive that far to pick up the renter. Hmm, it was ok when I spoke to the young lady earlier, what changed? So, I cancelled the reservation. As an insurance agent, I've sent them a lot of business over the years, but that has now come to an end. They should change their motto to "We'll Pick You Up, Maybe" read more
