So our experience with SIXT has been great for the times we have used them (CA, AZ, CO). From the free upgrades to the wonderful folks we have met. CO is no exception. The folks were so friendly. Even with the bit of snafu we had with our reservation not showing in the system everyone was still focused on great customer service. And from someone who comes from a CS background I am always paying attention to the service. So for the folks who want to b$$$ and moan and write their reviews, I challenge you to write about the wonderful CS experiences you have as well.

Longer lines, tension between the written word and the action, and a car that was possibly the worst performing car I've driven. The shuttle picked us up quickly, which was great! The driver was nice and helpful. Then, more than 30 minutes waiting, even after doing the online checkin. They needed to verify documents, so there is no benefit to the online checkin, you're in the same line as everyone. Was told I'd be charged a $200 deposit, no problem. Then, they charged a $250 deposit. That would have been ok, I just like to have words and action to match. The car was a standard SUV. The car was such a gutless gas-guzzling SUV. Returning the car was odd. I pulled up and into the line of cars. After 10 minutes, I began to go inside and a worker motioned for me to move the car over to the line next to the one I parked. I moved, he was gone. I just walked around the car and filmed its condition, took pictures of the clean interior, and the full gas level. I went to the bus. So very strange. And, the shuttle driver was great, a nice guy that was very helpful to everyone. The drivers earned the two stars.

I was offered a Toyota RAV4, I wasn't impressed, I asked for other make SUVs but the other Enterprise employees were giving out the remaining cars like hot potatoes that the lot was left empty within 15 minutes. I ended up with the RAV4 and when I drove off it was one of the worst cars I've ever rented. The rear axle had a loud buzzing noise at any speed and I had that noise for 4 days. So beware, Enterprise Denver office is totally chaotic and don't even expect to get the car you book on their website. Very misleading.

Hertz experience was the real disaster more than the airport in remodeling chaos. When the bus finally did show up, it was so overcrowded that people were literally at each other's throats. It was basically a free-for-all just to get on. Then, to top it off, I get to the lot as a President's Circle member, expecting the perks that are supposed to come with that. It was noon, the reserved lot was 80% empty, and the "premium" selection was a joke. Just a bunch of random Jeeps and huge RAM pickups ready to haul horses and a handful of base-model Nissan Kicks and Kias. It's just pathetic. You're paying for a top-tier service as seems Economy, Budget and Thrifty are better, but you're getting a bottom-of-the-barrel experience. They aren't even trying anymore.

After waiting in line for 40 minutes, despite paying extra for Ready Service, I was still told to…read morewait like everyone else. When I finally reached the counter, I was informed that my vehicle was being cleaned and would be ready in 5 minutes. However, I waited an additional 45 minutes before receiving a vehicle. Not only was the car soaking wet, but it was also a completely different model than the one I had reserved and paid for. By that point, I was already late for my event and had no choice but to accept it, as waiting any longer was not an option. This experience was extremely disappointing. When customers make reservations with specific arrival times and pay additional fees for expedited service, those commitments should be honored. This location was clearly unprepared and did not deliver the service promised. I fully intend to dispute the additional Ready Service fee if it is not refunded. Based on this experience, I will not rent from this location again.
