They allow dogs to jump up and put their feet on the bar and lick it, and I even once saw a dog pee on the floor, but they roll their eyes when kids walk in? Lately, they've been setting up shop at the Stanley Woolen Mill in Uxbridge. This past Saturday, we drove over to the mill parking lot and ordered three Turkey Dinners, plus an extra side of mashed potatoes and gravy. Their turkey is incredibly juicy and tender (how do they do that?), the stuffing is delicious, and the mashed potatoes and gravy are worthy of a place on your Thanksgiving dinner table. Even their cranberry sauce is nicely done, with just the right amount of tartness. So why did we order three dinners for two people? Simple. We turned lunch into dinner! Of course, it's hard to pass up their excellent lobster rolls, but as the weather turns colder, I'm looking forward to enjoying more of their hot turkey sandwiches and dinners. It makes the drink feel a little bit fancier and helps keep the drink fresh. It also makes you feel as though you are getting two drinks for the price of one . We sat at the bar per usual and shared the half nachos (+ candied jalapeños and chicken). We love the way their nachos are served and honestly the portions are huge and very generous. We couldn't even finish the half nachos between the two of us! The nachos are always LOADED and have such unique flavors. My favorite cocktails at Bourbon's are: Saturn (not currently on the menu but they are typically still able to make it), Clear Intentions (clarified Mai Thai with the most incredible flavor profile) and Freezer Door Martini. 10/10 recommend all 3 of these but honestly you can't go wrong with any of their cocktails.
