I had the hardest time choosing a color, but luckily the staff here are super friendly and helped me make my choice. From what I can tell, all of the staff here know quality service. However, my friend recommended Annie to do my manicure... and personally, I think she is so great and sweet. I don't think you can go wrong with her! Overall, I really like this place. Overall, pleasant experience! The place is very small (about 3 pedicure chairs, and 3 manicure chairs). It's also very quiet! They have a tv that plays, but on mute, with a very calming spa like music in the background. The selection of colors is really nice. For being so small, they had a ton of choices that I was really happy with. Danny (I think that's his name) did my nails. He was quiet, but friendly. He made sure I was happy with whatever I wanted on my nails, and did well on the design choice I had in mind. It ended with a nice shoulder rub. Susan did my pedicure. They gave me a choice of either lemon or green tea to put in my water. Very unexpected, but pleasantly surprised! Susan did a really nice job on the entire experience. All items came fresh out of a new packet, and she really took her time to massage my feet and legs. My pedicure also ended with a nice shoulder rub. I really enjoyed her, and would go back just for her. All of these experiences, I've never had with any other nail salon before. It really gives you a sense of that "spa" like treatment as their name suggests. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars, was I felt it was a little pricey for a fill and a pedicure. It was 80 for cash, or 85 for card. Zio is my favorite go to nail spot. It's clean, relaxing, and they have amazing services. Each nail technician knows their stuff and they are all pretty friendly. I've never been disappointed after getting my nails done here! You can do a walk -in but they are almost always busy! I've seen them turn away walk-ins many times just because it's too packed, especially on the weekends. Your best bet is to make a reservation just to make sure! read more

The salon itself is located in a VERY small, cramped space behind a 7-11 parking lot. Upon arrival I discovered this nail salon offers MINIMAL services: *They DO NOT do tips, extensions, or overlays of any kind. *They DO NOT do dip powder as well. *The Gel Colors they do have are extremely old. (Dusty, caked and cracked bottles). *Many of the colors on their menu were either empty bottles, or running out. *Sketchy staff (my nail tech was downright hostile and rude). They have VERY AVERAGE skilled technicians. The application of color was mediocre (at best). Pedicure was sub-standard, was left with rough, dry heels and toes. Do not expect precise or neat work from this salon. The services are incredibly over-priced for amateur work. My particular nail tech was unnecessarily confrontational and unprofessional. REPEAT - DO NOT BELIEVE OLD SOCIAL MEDIA FEEDBACK! There are better salons in Bergen County. Literally go anywhere else... I would give this salon a ZERO if I could. read more

This review has been a long time coming... but I'm absolutely in love with how my nails were done today, so here goes: I decided to finally try out a gel manicure in the spring of last year, and came here because a coworker and a bunch of my clients suggested it. The first time I came, I left feeling great, but within days my nail polish started to chip. I called and luckily they were nice enough to take me the following Monday to fix me up. I walked in feeling anxious, but Jin checked out my nails, agreed they shouldn't be chipping yet, fixed me right up ... and LET ME TELL YOU.... THIS GIRL DOES WONDERS!! To this day, Jin makes my nails look absolutely amazing!! I have slightly crooked middle fingers, lol, but she works her magic and makes my hands look SO SO GOOD. It's also great that she's super sweet and patient, and she really takes her time to do her thing. The end result is always amazing and so worth it. I usually go with black nails of some sort, but have tried a few other colors when I'm feeling frisky haha. They have a huge selection, so I'm sure you'll find what you're looking for. BUT, I decided to go matte black again today, with a glitter accent nail... they started using a new matte coat, and OH MY GOODNESS!! It's freaking amazing!! Super matte and super smooth! Tae & Jack are amazing with pedis and if perfect if you need a firm hand in the massages during the pedis. All the male employees are good at massages here. Put me to sleep!! Pedis last me a month, but I usually go back before then, when I do my nails. Zio Nails has really upped their game in gel colors since I first started going here. Danny is the best and so amazing with my nail art. When he's busy I go to Julie. I think I heard them say they have about 500 gel colors or something. Went here for the first time yesterday. Small and very clean! The young girl (I didnt catch her name) was extremely sweet and gentle - almost TOO gentle. The other two women didn't speak much as they were tending to other clients (which is fine & preferred as sometimes you just want to relax & not engage!) My pedicure was ok - however, I prefer a rough hand (not to the point of carelessness or pain) but someone to really get in there & make your feet feel like something was done to them. I run, plus I'm on my feet a good portion of the day for work and they take a beating to say the least. I feel the pedicure could have lasted a little longer regarding the foot scrub/filing & massage. Other places I've been too seem to take a little more time in that department. I haven't had experienced the other techs who work there yet, as this was my first visit. The price was acceptable - then again it should be - given that the pedicure didn't last long and I feel if I paid anymore than that, it would not have been worth it. There is SOME street parking. I think almost all of the regular nail techs are very good, though I definitely think Jin and the older man(I still don't know his name)who's always booked are the best. The staff is very nice, I come every two weeks or so to get a gel manicure. They always help me to pick a color because I am so indecisive and are very attentive. Got my nails done with Julie/Julia. The location is nice and clean. Many colors to choose from. I got gel which normally lasts me 2-3 weeks. Unfortunately, it chipped the next day and completely peeled off within the first week. I was not using excessive water on my hands; therefore, that shouldn't have came off that soon.
