Such a gorgeous spot with lots of fresh, healthy options. The patio feels like a little oasis after the craziness of shopping at Century City Mall. As a first-time visitor, though, I found the dining process pretty chaotic. I wasn't sure if I was supposed to sit and order from a QR code, order at the counter where there was a line, or whether the food would be brought out to us. Some of the busser staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, but I found the counter staff less receptive when I had questions. The food itself was beautifully plated and tasted very fresh. I ordered the mussels, tuna tartine, and beet quinoa salad, and everything was delicious (particularly the bread that they use). Portions are generous, though the prices reflect that just don't expect CAVA prices I'd probably order less next time.
If you're shipping around Century City, this spot is a perfect place to sit down and get some good healthy food! I loved their salmon plate, the portion was perfect, and it came with a delicious sauce on the side. Their lychee martini was very refreshing. I really enjoyed my dinner here, and felt like the prices were also aligned with the quality.
The Bottom Line 3 stars: An "OK" stop for a proper sit down lunch or dinner or to have some drinks and tapas with friends at the bar, when visiting the Century City Shopping Center. Location 3 stars: At the Westfield Century City Shopping Center in Century City, California. Your parking options are self or valet parking at the mall's parking structure and most businesses including Zinque do NOT validate parking, so be prepared to pay $10-$30 for parking. Possibilities for street parking are very limited if any. Venue 4 stars: Upscale décor and ambiance. Indoor tables and booths, outdoor tables and a full bar with its own high tables. They have Happy Hour, currently Monday Thru Friday, 4 PM to 6 PM. Please see the menu that I have posted. Service 3 stars: Staff were polite but were slow and not attentive. Food 3 stars: French and Mediterranean fare. Their menu consists of appetizers, tapas, pasta, cheese and charcuterie, and main plates. Prices are slightly on the higher end of the spectrum. We had the Spanish Chickpea Curry with Chicken and the Seared Cod. Both were good but not memorable. I understand they also have Breakfast and Brunch. Drinks 4 stars: Full bar, some specialty cocktails, beer. wine and soft drinks. Prices are reasonable.
My friends and I were hungry after a movie, so we walked around the mall to find a place to eat. We were a group of 8 and thought we had to resort to the food court, but Zinque was able to accommodate all of us, including a dog! We loved their QR code system so we could easily split the bill. We just needed to order with the waiter to start the order first. All the food was delish and the servings were large enough for us to share with each other. They brought us sharing plates and even offered water for my dog. Excellent service and the ambiance was so nice outside especially during the sunset. Very great spot for a date night too!
We went to Zinqué on a Sunday for brunch, and it was fine. They accommodated us outside with our dog and it was a beautiful California day in Century City. Our server was cool and bonded with us over dog stories, which was probably one of the better parts of the experience. I ordered the pork bánh mì, but it was really a pork belly sandwich on crusty bread with some bánh mì inspiration. Kind of annoying. Don't call it a bánh mì. My wife had the Le Breakfast Bowl, which was perfectly fine and healthy enough to leave room for dessert later. I'm not hating on Zinqué. The Santa Monica location is a vibe, and I love meeting my friend there for coffee. This Century City location just felt like a cardboard cutout of what Zinqué is supposed to be. The bar looks impressive, so maybe it comes alive at night. For brunch, though, it wasn't bad. It just didn't knock our socks off. Thankfully, the weather did.
It's been a hot minute since I've had such a disparity between excellent food and poor service, but here I am. Zinqué was a real mixed bag. I'll start with the good. The hostess was super- nice and promptly seated me. My main entree was actually quite spectacular. I had Le bowl and it was a five star dish. I could eat it every day. I chose the option with the frittata and it was the best frittata I've ever had. The forbidden rice with the spicy mayo and the cheese harmonized very well with the arugula. Yes. This is an excellent dish- definitely try this if you want something on the lighter side. The atmosphere is also very nice. It's a chic restaurant and has a sophisticated atmosphere. Now the bad- after I was seated by the hostess the waiter took my order. It was the driest exchange and I really felt like something was up, like maybe he was checked out. Well, after my food was brought out, I was in the middle of eating and I saw my waiter leave for the day. He was wearing a jacket, hat and carrying a backpack. He totally bailed on me with no handoff. I waited a while. No one checked on me. I kept looking at waiters assisting other tables, no one noticed me. I was totally abandoned. Annoyed; I saw a QR Code on the table and it was a portal to order more items. My tab wasn't even searchable. I finally got up and went to the bar to let the bartender know that I had not been checked up on, and that I had seen my waiter leave the building like 20 minutes ago. He apologized and said that he got cut because it was slow, and another waiter heard this and met me at the table so he could take my dessert order. But the damage was done. The berry crumble was okay, but I was already pretty turned off by this place. I was so disappointed how such a promising meal took a complete nosedive. The lack of a handoff is what really irritated me. The waiter totally left and it's like I couldn't believe he was just walking out the door without telling anyone. If it was so slow, how did I fall through the cracks? I had tables on both sides of me that got waited on and it's like I was a ghost. Zinqué had great food (well, Le bowl at least), a kind hostess but the actual experience was bad. I can only think of one other time in my life where I was totally forgotten about like this. Very memorable, but in a bad way.
Came here on Memorial Day to celebrate my bestie's birthday and upon arrival there was no hostess (FYI I've been here countless times and am used to getting seated) so we had to flag someone down to ask and was told to sit anywhere and order via QR code (which I thought was new since I never had to do this before) so we did. Regarding service, it took about 10-15 mins for just our drinks to come out and while waiting, we asked our server if they have birthday freebies and someone named Josh said they have something special they could do. Our food order came out within 20ish mins and we had to ask for utensils but they only gave two pairs (there's four of us but we just made do since we were starving). I've always liked the food at Zinque, and the ambiance has always been a cool vibe. However, the problem was when our server (not Josh but another guy) brought out a nice, small piece of cake with ice cream and candle, and then immediately whipped out a card reader and proceeded to charge us for it (INCLUDING THE CANDLE!). We tried to contest it and let them know we weren't told there would be a charge and our server blatantly looked at us and, with a callous attitude, said "we can discount it but that's the best we can do." I understand that the restaurant may have been short staffed today but I don't think that should excuse the poor service (especially since I've received excellent service here plenty of times in the past!). All my foodie reviews are positive and for this to be my first negative one says a lot. Very disappointed and will not be coming back.
Stopped for a quick early dinner with a friend after a hard day of shopping at Century City mall. The salmon was delicious and came on a bed of mixed rice and greens. The portion was generous and was enough to take part home. Given it was a beautiful day we sat outside which was very comfortable. The service was spot on. The only downside is that parking is so expensive at the mall and there's no validation.

They have indoor and outdoor seating (I recommend outdoor if it's a nice day out). We came on a Wednesday early evening and to my surprise it was not crowded at all. No wait. We walked in and sat at the bar (bar is open seating). The bartender was very pleasant and attentive. He made really good drinks! They have a few specials and they also have happy hour. Although I only ordered fries, the guy next to me ordered a burger and it was big and looked yummy. He ate every bite so I assume it was good lol. If you are at century city mall and looking for a place for a quick drink or a bite to eat..... I would recommend Zinque.
I only go here for the drinks, have never tried the food hence the reason for the 4 stars. Other than that, customer service is exceptional for the two times I have visited this restaurant bar, the drinks are amazing and always taste so yummy! The ambiance is very cool during the day AND night! So glad me and my sister ended our lovely day here a couple weeks ago because it definitely put the cherry on top! Now she has a new bar she can even tell her friends about! I will be back forsure!
Zinqué is one of my favorite places to take a break while shopping at Westfield Century City. I stopped in for happy hour and was pleasantly surprised by how reasonable the prices were. I ordered the salmon over wild rice with an Aperol spritz and sat on the patio, which was especially nice on a sunny afternoon. The service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. I'd happily bring friends from out of town here for lunch or happy hour, or just stop in after shopping. I'll definitely be back for the patio, the atmosphere, and the happy hour.
I really like the Zinc location in Century City. The service isn't always the best, and the food can take a little while to come out, but the food never disappoints. We ordered a flat white, which was amazing, the quinoa burrito, which was fresh, healthy, and really good, and the tuna tartine, which is my wife and my favorite. It's always delicious. Overall, it's a great spot for brunch with fresh, tasty food. We'll definitely be coming back.
My mom and I came by for brunch on a Tuesday and the food was delicious - can't speak much for service as the only interaction we had with an employee was ordering at the front . I got the protein bowl and my mom got le breakfast bowl . Both are very filling - it honestly held me over nearly all day long . The crispy garbanzo beans in le breakfast bowl are so good, and the roasted pepper feta dip in the protein bowl is yummy !! I also got the baklava latte which I loved - not too sweet with a perfect hint of cardamom . Would definitely come back !

Got the Campanelle aux moreilles with chicken added to it. The pasta was so delicious, but the chicken was bland and kind of cold, so would not recommend. Grilled salmon plate was also so flavorful and satisfying. The tapas are good but extremely small. Even if you get a bunch of them to share, it won't be filling. The seats we were on were surprisingly shorter than the table and it was a little difficult, not sure if all the tables are like that. Service was decent. read more

I was at the mall with a friend and we stopped by here for a quick lunch. No reservations and we were seated immediately. Nice location with indoor and outdoor patio seating. I got the poke Niçoise salad and an Aperol spritz. The salad was really tasty, fresh ingredients and it tasted healthy and fresh. The Aperol spritz was delicious! Great spot at the century city mall for a drink and/or bite! It's a little pricey but not as bad as most eateries here. read more

Indoor and outdoor seating--both are great. Fantastic staff that are so nice and super helpful. Le Bowl is the perfect dish. Ask for a little extra sriracha mayo and def get a side of fries and some rose. Love coming here. It's relaxed and laid back with a nice atmosphere, even when it's packed. Keep up the great work team! read more

Had a great experience here! It's located on the 2nd floor near Chagee, with both indoor and outdoor seating available. Came around 6 PM on a Monday and was seated right away. We ordered the japanese sweet potato, crispy brussels sprouts, steak-frites, and grilled salmon. Everything was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. Service was fast and very kind throughout. For dessert, we got the flourless chocolate cake with ice cream and caramel on the side. It was delicious and not overly sweet, which I really liked. Definitely will be back! read more

Stopped in here for an early dinner but as luck would have it, happy hour just started! The hostess sat me inside near the bar. She was really nice! The decor is very cool, modern, bohemian. There's outdoor/indoor seating. The music really set the vibe. They had this pretty good deal where you can pick 3 of the starters for $24 so I went with that. I also had a beer from Canada which was tasty. Service was great all around, and I'm looking forward to trying their entrees next time I'm there. read more

Zinqué is unique where the food is 5 stars but the service is between 2 and 3 stars. For starters, it is really weird how during the week I think before 4 pm (not totally sure), there are no servers and it's all self ordering. The disappointing part is that most of the time, there's no one at the front booth to welcome you and let you know. You just have to sit down, be let down with no server coming, ask around, and find out. The first time I came, there was a server for my table (like a normal restaurant), but the next time there wasn't, so I was really confused. You can order at the table via QR code or at the bar, but due to lack of good wifi you're better off ordering at the bar. At the bar, the people there are really hit or miss. There's two guys that are really nice and friendly, paying attention, but then there is this girl who is just talking and laughing with another coworker barely paying attention. It's a weird vibe. No one tells you about getting your own water, etc. Now the positive part, the food is delicious. Great menu with various sweet and savory dishes that are satisfying and nice plating. It is also good value for what you get, there are some healthy options that taste great, like the Le Breakfast Bowl, which is my go to. Avocado, burrata, poached egg, quinoa, bread, radish, salad, etc, super diverse plate which I love. I add chicken, which is so moist and soft; it is rare that chicken on the side isn't dry. The burger is also amazing. However, there are some weird inconsistencies that lower the restaurant's tier level. The bread on the side is sometimes warm and toasted, sometimes cold. The banana bread sometimes comes warm sometimes not. The quinoa in the bowl is sometimes ice cold sometimes warm. They are small things, but it makes it obvious that there is not an emphasis on quality control and strict consistency, which is vital for nicer restaurants. I go back a lot, as the food is delicious, ambience is beautiful, and the pricing is pretty good for what you get. But I wouldn't come here looking for a good dining experience. Maybe when there are servers it is different, but they don't even advertise this properly. Great solo dining experience, though, since there are nice outdoor views. The service part is just a bummer, since I wouldn't love to enjoy a nice romantic date or big group gathering here. read more
if you're not interested in the menu, at least stop by for the drinks. they have some neat cocktails with a nice kick & the bartenders are always so friendly. we tried the new harvest moon drink on our last visit & it did not disappoint! the toujours todos and the mezcalita taste spicy & smoky, definitely my two favorites. for the food, we've only had the wings before, they were good. this location has a chill vibe on the inside however alot of people prefer patio seating. read more
I think 3.5 is accurate. I came on a Tuesday afternoon and checked it out on a whim. They have a QR code menu that you can use to order via toastab from your table. Service was friendly and the restaurant is in a nice place. I really enjoyed my food and wouldn't mind checking it out again in the future. read more

Quick meal at Zinqué. I ordered the grass fed wagyu burger with bacon and fries. The patty was juicy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Bacon was thick and crispy. Fries were golden and great with the sauces. The guy who served me, Michel P, was attentive and friendly. I also love sitting outside everytime I eat here, relaxed vibe and perfect for people watching. Would definitely come back. read more
Interesting French Fusion restaurant! I visited this restaurant on a Thursday night at the Century City Mall. It's located on the top floor of the mall near Chagee. Walking-in, I loved the interior and exterior. Both sides are nice and vibey, perfect for dates or generally having a nice dinner. My friend and I ultimately chose the outdoor seating since it was a nice day outside. The menu had a tapas menu as well has many unique items. My friend and I ended up ordering the deviled eggs, chicken wings, green lasagna, and roasted chicken. - The deviled eggs were good, but small for what you get. The 4 pieces of egg could equal 1 large egg it terms of volume. Not worth it for $11. - The chicken wings were crispy and juicy. They reminded me of standard chicken wings you could get at pizza places. It was covered in a spicy sauce with some blue cheese dipping sauce. I thought it was okay, but my friend really liked them. - The green lasagna was good, but not mind blowing. It was unique as it was green and contained many veggies. It reminded me of spinach ravioli. It tasted healthy. I wish the pasta was more al dente though. - The roasted chicken was pretty dry, not the best. The fries it came with were nice though. The service was good and the we had good conversations with the staff. They also have a private bathroom for customers. Unfortunately, they don't validate the expensive Century City Mall parking. Overall, a decent experience here. I like that they menu was very unique, but I wish the dishes were executed better. read more
