It is conveniently located, so i typically just walk to the restaurant. I find the service friendly and usually pretty prompt. Menu is pretty extensive. Most offerings are tasty. I like their veggie scramble with avocado on their breakfast menu and their multi-flavored mimosas (on weekends). Their crepes leave a lot to be desired , however, because it's essentially their pancakes folded over like crepes (meaning, they're not thin). If you have dietary restrictions, such as a gluten-free food preference/requirement, Zini's does not have any on their menu--no gluten-free toast, pasta, or pizza crust. read more

This is my new go-to breakfast place in Cloverdale. I had an omelette that was very flavorful and just the right amount of food. Home style potatoes were cooked perfectly. The host and the waitress were both very nice and our service was great. read more

After visiting this lovely town for many many years I finally tried this restaurant. We went the day before Mother's Day. We were not acknowledged for quite a few minutes after entering which I wasn't expecting since the restaurant was not full or extremely busy. Once seated, our waitress was very nice and answered our questions regarding menu items. Our food was brought to us promptly and the portion sizes are big. I must say that I loved the thin pancakes. If you are looking for a standard typical American Breakfast in this area THIS IS IT! Very quaint vibes from this establishment. The hosts were very friendly and I felt like I am having breakfast at home. Tried their Denver Omelet and it was PERFECT! The hash brows were on point and I got a side of fresh juicy fruits. We often end up stopping at Cloverdale on the way to Mendocino or farther north. Coming back from Ukiah recently we were looking for a breakfast spot and happened upon Zini's Cafe based on yelp reviews. Yelpers were right about this one: a great breakfast place. We all had the Swedish Pancakes and they received a universal thumbs up. Some of the sides we had were excellent, especially my side of ham. Best ham I've had in quite a while! The hashbrowns also were quite good. I had thought this was just a breakfast place, but the website says they are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Foods great, probably one of the better breakfast places I've tried, but the service not so much. We waited awhile to get seated then were eventually told to sit anywhere. Took about another 10 min to place our orders. Food came out within another 10 min or so and again was great - Had the Denver Omelette, well seasoned & fresh. Zini's Diner is a cute mom-and-pop cozy diner in Cloverdale with reasonably priced food, and friendly service. They keep the menu simple, but with plenty of options. Last review raved about a great breakfast. Wife wanted to stop by and try dinner, which scares me at a breakfast place. Boy was I wrong! Wife had the chicken in white wine sauce and I had the chicken in Marsala sauce. Both were full of flavors and tasty. Yes super flavors at a diner! Sourdough bread and butter to start was tasty too. Love coming to this spot every time is visit my brother is Cloverdale. The staff are always so nice and quick to get you started with seating and drinks. Breakfast is always delicious not to mention breakfast and a beer!! Would recommend to anyone in or visiting the area. read more

Zinni's is a great little restaurant. The staff are excellent and very efficient and friendly. The food I have had is excellent. Their blue cheese burger, Reuben sandwich, crepes, tri tip sandwiches, and prime rib are delicious. I take all of my friends and family there. Like others have said, the Swedish pancakes were delicious. Really reasonable price as well. Under $4 for the short stack of two. I also got the Denver omelette with hash browns. It was good, but not the best I've ever had. I personally don't like when my eggs are brown at all. I don't like the flavor they take on. This omelette was browned lightly. It was fine with some sour cream and hot sauce. Hash browns were nice and crisp. They offer fruit instead if you prefer. I tried the Hollandaise, which tasted like the powdered kind. It was fine. Put together with the eggs Benedict, it tasted great. The poached egg was cooked perfectly. Service was friendly and incredibly fast. Great place for kids because of that. Their space feels big and spacious - plenty of space to get to tables freely without obstacles, and I didn't realize how nice that was until I experienced it. Atmosphere was fittingly diner-y. We took a ride from Santa Rosa to Cloverdale to have a night out. My husband had breakfast here with his brother & wanted to share the good food with me. My roast beef dinner was excellent!
