We needed a good pick me up this afternoon as it was a busy day and a nice refreshing iced coffee sounded good. Upon walking in, I looked around and observed a nice clean inviting place. The staff here were extremely nice. I had ordered an iced toffee nut coffee and an iced Vanilla Bee Chai. I will say the iced chai was really good but the iced toffee nut coffee was not what we expected. I thought it would've been a little sweeter drink, but it was a bitter. Also ordered a frosted lemon bread on the recommendation of the nice lady that waited on me. It was really good, but the icing was overly sweet so next time I may try the cinnamon coffee cake one. Overall, I say is a really good experience. I would give it a higher score if the iced toffee nut would've been more to our liking but solid 4 and I will return for sure. read more

Nice alternative to Starbucks. They use different coffee and tea brands but similar setup and options. My son and I wanted to try something new. I got the spicy iced chai tea, my son got a blended Carmel macchiato. We got a small iced matcha to try it. The spicy chai was definitely spicy and good. The macchiato was good and flavorful. The macha with coconut milk was not very good. I didn't like it. My son said he doesn't like it either. We had macha at other places and liked it. The service was good. The server was friendly and helpful. We asked a couple questions and she was helpful. We will be back and skip the macha next time. read more

I went to Ziggi's to get a drink. I usually love coming here. There were four people working. None offered to help me. They finally help me. Then they got busy talking again and attempted to make my drink wrong. I asked for a refund and they were incredibly rude and stated they were new. I said well someone should train them then. It is so cool to see Albuquerque accumulating a larger variety of drive thru coffee joints. I know that Phoenix has them all over the place and I love how accessible they are. Plus, in Phoenix it is a huge perk because you don't have to get out of the car on a sweltering day. These type of coffee centric businesses are also often different than your traditional coffee shops. The drinks tend to be a little more on the wild side with fun colors and lots of whipped cream on the menu. It is just a different vibe. I want to start off with saying that the service was really great and they had me through super fast. The also had someone come out to my to take my order which wasn't necessary as they have a drive thru set up, but I appreciate the personal touch. The guy at the pay window was very friendly and offered a rewards card. I never use them because I will totally lose it and then just have a huge stack of rewards cards piled up in a random purse somewhere. Anyways, again very friendly service. I ordered the Colorado Mocha which wasn't bad at all. It was pretty syrup heavy and in the future I might ask for a lighter hand when it comes to adding any flavoring but it filled my coffee need for the morning. They had so many different drinks to try, I will totally take my little sister sometime because this is her kind of place. read more

It is a knockoff version of Starbucks. I enjoyed trying it, though, as it was a newer coffee place in Albuquerque. The drinks are not bad, but they are basically the same as Starbucks (with the exception of the drinks with Red Bull). I had the iced chai and was very disappointed to be honest. It tasted more like milk than chai. I also had a cake pop that was pretty good. The prices are very expensive for low quality coffee, though. If I want to pay this much for an iced chai I will either just go to Starbucks where I KNOW that I will receive the iced chai that I am expecting or I will support a local business (like Zendo, Castle Coffee, Plata, etc). This is not a local business and hence it comes off as yet another Starbucks or Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf knock off. However, I do think I will be returning to see if the Red Bull drinks (which I believe are their signature drinks) will change my opinion. read more

I love the ease of using an app for ordering and Ziggis provides that but I ordered a sandwich through the app alongside my chai and they were out of it. When I got to the store to pick it up they let me know they were out and already refunded me. Not a big deal but I wish the app told me the sandwich wasn't available. Had I known I would've ordered something else in place and had a nice breakfast. The chai is pretty good though. read more

I am so excited about the introduction of Ziggis Coffee to Albuquerque. I passed not one, not two but three green mermaids to get to Ziggi's Coffee just to try their Hot Candy Cane Crunch Latte. I chose to place my order inside as my app hated me at the moment. Or maybe it was user error. It was probably user error. Definitely user error coupled with an oncoming headache. Everyone inside was beyond extremely nice and helpful and my Peppermint Coffee had the perfect notes of holidays and peace. Everything my brain needed to chill. My husband stayed in the car on a business call while I picked up his Salted Caramel Latte with Oatmilk. This was definitely a keeper! Everything about it was delicious. It's a pretty lengthy menu so it's going to take me a minute to get through my list of favorites but I suspect it will be worth every sip of hot bean water they have to offer. read more

I went through the drive thru and told the employee it was my first time here and asked for recommendations. He recommended his personal favorite, the Gold Rush cold brew so that's what I ordered. I just stopped in for a well needed coffee. This was my first and last time at a Ziggi's. I ordered a pumpkin pie cappuccino and was SOOOOO looking forward to it. It was so hot so unfortunately I didn't try it until I was already on the freeway otherwise, I would've turned around and taken it back.this was definitely no pumpkin pie anything. I was so excited to see another coffee shop option in Albuqerque. We have enough Starbucks and Dutch Bros. I had the Mile High Twist for the 2nd time and it was just as delicious as the 1st time I had it. The real peanut butter and chocolate, with a hint of butterscotch is amazing! My son, who is 19 had the cotton candy blender, which comes with a wacky, bendy straw, and he loved it also. We will be back again, and maybe I'll have the courage to try something new. Quick convenient drive through with friendly customer service. There was something on the menu for my whole family to enjoy. I was excited to try a new coffee shop. I was even more excited to see it being built within walking distance of my house. I heard this business originated in Colorado, and that after seeing the success of Oregon based Dutch Bros., they decided to give it a go. Well...I am extremely underwhelmed. I guess I will start of with the pros: the customer service is top notch (if you can hear them-see cons); they offer a free chocolate covered espresso bean with drinks, and they have a loyalty punch card where the 11th cup is free. Sadly, that's about it for pros. And, for what it's worth, I don't care for chocolate covered espresso beans, and I don't love their coffee. I doubt I will manage to fill a punch card. As far as the cons go, there are plenty. They do not offer light roast coffee. Their menu is non descriptive. For example, they have a drink called hazelnut cream listed under their signature drinks. That's literally all it says though. There's no description of the drink whatsoever. Their drinks get the job done, but I have found none very memorable. I have tried an americano, regular coffee, and that hazelnut cream (it's a latte, for the record). Also, their drink prices are quite steep. Prices overall are higher than Starbucks, and I feel that Starbucks is easily a superior coffee shop. It is extremely loud in the lobby. I have to lean forward and shout to be heard. All of their grinding machines are very close to the counter, muffling all other sounds. Today, I ordered through the drive through. Sure enough, the girl taking my order couldn't hear, so she had to come outside to my vehicle in order to take my order. They serve their coffee scalding hot. I always have to allow a little time for it to cool before trying to drink it. You don't have access to cream and sugar. They add it for you. So, chances are, you will wish you had either more or less. The thing they offer as a stopper is a joke. It's a little square sticker that comes already stuck to your lid. When you place it over your coffee cup spout, the steam from your coffee instantly goes to work on the adhesive glue, making it slip off in no time. The place isn't very accessible either. It can only be entered from the South side of Montgomery. If you're on the North side, a median prevents you from crossing. You can't get to it from a side street or from behind. read more

Great and convenient place, locally owned franchise. The drive thru is super quick and the people working there are extremely kind and professional. The flavored lattes are tasty, I especially like the winter seasonal ones and the turtle latte. It's not the kind of espresso you'd find at other artsy walk-in coffee shops but it's much tastier than Starbucks at a similar price point. They have loyalty punch cards and their snickerdoodle cookies are delicious. read more
