Either that or I need to get my taste buds recalibrated. Nonetheless, it was a cuppa caffeine that danced lively until it was all gone. The downside of the Gnomad Coffee truck is it's location in the hinterlands of Rio Rancho, on Cherry Road just a bit north of Northern Blvd. One of those "You might need a Boy Scout and a couple mules to get there" kind of places. Another hit is that, at this point in time, they haven't yet developed their in-house food service after abandoning their vendoring of Rebel Donuts as comestibles to accompany their bodacious coffee. They were so kind and welcoming, and it made us appreciate their work even more. In my opinion, their roasting is spot-on--rich, flavorful, and always balanced. Every blend I've tried has been incredible. Having a burr grinder to grind these is key! My son's more of a tea guy, and he was excited to pick up some of their loose leaf selections too. Every employee I encountered was kind and made me feel welcome.
