This was seriously the best Chinese food I have ever eaten. I ordered the two egg-roll dish and my friend had the sesame chicken with broccoli. Both meals were outstanding. The owner was also extremely kind to us. We needed to travel a long distance after our meal and were trying to figure out how to keep our leftovers cold until we got home. The scallion pancakes had no scallions in them and the chicken fingers where not cooked all the way through. When I pulled the chicken finger apart the dough was sticking to my fingers. The dough was raw. My girlfriend and I called In our concerns and the owner of the establishment proceeded to argue with us and accuse us of making this up. We plead our case and we where met with rudeness and arguments. We where very polite as we urged him that we where not making this up and that we simply requested a new meal or a refund. He became very agitated and spoke very fast. We finally gave up and I will be sure to steer clear of this restaurant in the future. read more

We were looking in our new 'hood (hmm, am I too suburban to say that? I think I am) for a new Chinese takeout place to replace our beloved King Wok in Natick. And we found it here! This place is really close to our house, and in a plaza with pretty much all the other north side places we've tried so far... Andrea's Pizza and Nobscot Cafe. We got combo plates and some appetizers, and it was a TON of food. Prices are pretty good too. Beef teriyaki were really great, and the crab rangoons were up to par. Eggrolls were WAY better than the ones we got at Red Pepper. I really liked the sweet and sour sauce that came with my chicken, it wasn't the typical bright pink goop (tasty though that goop is), it was much lighter and not as overwhelmingly sweet. Husband liked his General Tso's (and so did I when I ate it for breakfast the next day!). Fried rice was also good, and a huge amount in the combos. It's typical takeout Americanized Chinese, a little greasy and not authentic at all, but if you take it for what it is, we really enjoyed it! read more

I ordered the appetizer lunch special with 2 chicken wings and 1 egg roll. I also had pork rice on the side. The eggroll was not great because the wrapping was on the Sweetside for some reason. The wings were fabulous, like I expected. The duck sauce was a tiny tiny container. That was disappointing..I also ordered the scallop and shrimp supreme and asked for no mushrooms, but there were actually mushroom pieces in the dish so I was not able to eat it. Also the white rice that came with it was in the tiniest takeout container ever. I'm not sure if I will go back, if I do I will certainly try something else and check my food for no mushrooms in it before I leave. read more

We have been living in Framingham for 9 years. Over time, this location has been several different chinese take out places with different owners very time. Zheng Garden has been the best so far. We order from them at least twice a week and the food is always excellent. They are also very friendly. There are very accommodating regarding changes to any dish you order. We like white meat chicken in our dishes and they always do that with no hassle. Our favorite orders are the combination plates. They are a great buy and packed with lots of food. Their hot and sour soup is excellent as are the scallion pancakes. Definitely a find and a good place to eat. Not much atmosphere for eat in but their take out is great. We keep menus in the car so we can order on our way home and not have to wait when we get there. read more

Friday night. Long week. Needing some decent Chinese take-out to go along with my sports line-up. Not only did my team lose, no, got spanked, but my long-anticipated take-out was a-w-f-u-l. I think I'm a pretty discerning foodie and let me tell you Yelpers don't eat here if it's the last chinese restaurant on earth. Everything tastes the same and has the same ingredients. Sauces are gloppy with cornstarch. I ordered spicy and it's blander than chef boyardee. Hot and Sour soup was neither and over thickened with cornstarch. Stay away, far away. read more

Great spot! Got the beef and mushroom, wonton soup, and lo mein combination with beef teriyaki. Everything was great. Only complaint would be that the beef and mushroom had little beef but that was because there were a lot of other vegetables in the meal. So disappointed in the customer service in this place! Called them out on their prices on their website. They told me that they haven't had a chance to update it and too bad for me I had to pay the extra money. I wouldn't have minded if they weren't so absolutely rude and disgusting to me! Every Time i order delivery they say 45 minutes but it's always 30. My order is never wrong and the food is always delicious. They have the best general toas chicken by far! And the best wonton soup! It's not greasy or cold on arrival I have been ordering their take out since they opened and I have never had an issue. I have literally never been disappointed by anything I have ordered. Or with their quality of customer service everyone who works their is incredibly nice!! I love everything they serve .... Except the egg rolls. I don't know why but their egg rolls are the only thing that I pass on. Maybe too much cabbage? Just moving to the Framingham area a few months ago, we needed to find a good takeout, Chinese food restaurant. I wasn't really looking for anything other than the typical Chinese-Americanized takeout food; my only requirement was that it tasted fresh, good and the service was friendly. We I got all of that and more. I ordered on their website and when I went to pick it up, it was exactly how I ordered, in the time specified that it would be ready. There was an American working the counter and Chinese employees as well. All were extremely friendly and courteous. I brought the food and it was SO DAMN GOOD. If I wanted fancier Chinese sit-down I would've went to a P.F. Chang's. It was perfect and will be the only Chinese takeout I order in the Framingham / Natick area!! read more

Im glad I didnt listen to the other poor reviews, I just ordered delivery and the food arrived hot and on time, and the delivery guy was super nice. the food was better than i expected, we got the sesame beef and it was delicious, and crispy as was the orange chicken, the best orange chicken ive had as a matter of fact. The crab rangoons were also delicious, crispy not greasy, and the filling was very good. I wasn't too thrilled with the chicago style chop suey, but it wasn't bad. just kind of bland. other reviews i read said the rice portion was small, well we got 3 huge containers of rice, and all we ordered was a large fried rice. Best prices around too. We got a lot of food and it didn't cost nearly as much as what it normally does from other delivery in the area, and this food was better. We have been regular customers to this little place from the time they opened it in framingham. Their customer service is the best and the food is good, worth the good affordable price we pay for. The owner even caters to our suggestions of modifying his soup menu when we asked him to make a different sort of soup and he is good at thinking outside the box. I ordered delivery from Zheng Garden a couple of weeks ago. The delivery was fast but the food was not hot. The chicken and broccoli had already started to congeal and the fried rice was really dry when it arrived. I literally threw all of it away without eating it. It may be a different experience when you dine in but I wouldn't recommend their home delivery. read more

I have seen this restaurant sign in the old-fashioned strip mall but just decided to take a chance on it. I order the pu pu platter as I love appetizers and the fried rice. The beef and chicken teriyaki are great, no fat. I found our boneless spare ribs wonderful, very little fat. Chicken fingers excellent. My husband liked the chicken wings. I did not get the crab rangoons or shrimp as we are not seafood people, so cannot speak about those. But I was very happy with the fried rice, very tasty and plentiful as the pu pu was. Have never tried any other dishes so cannot speak to those. I find the people here very polite and fast. This is basically a take-out place only, maybe one booth in there. Would definitely recommend trying it. Gianni's in the same plaza is wonderful place. And have tried Andrea's pizza too there which is good with pasta...but Gianni's has better pizza as they are from NY. read more

I moved to Framingham in August of 2016 asking the last tenant where to get good Chinese delivery she suggested Zheng Garden...I have ordered several times from them and got good food and somewhat good delivery service (Where I am in the house I cannot see driveway and ask them to call when they get here they NEVER follow thru...which is annoying ) Last night I ordered the same as always chicken fingers, peeking ravioli and rice...when it arrived it tasted old and not at all as other orders. I called today spoke to a manager he told me I always complain which is not true and then he sited one incident in Oct of 2015 ( an order of spareribs, I never ordered spareribs) I explained I did not live here at that time he proceeded to tell me I was a liar and wanted free food and that I did not tip the driver I replied I did not tip the driver as again he did not call as asked, I will never order here again there are 3 other Chinese food deliveries in the area that have fresh food without an attitude. If you want fresh food do not order from Zheng Garden. Tim from Zheng garden called and apologized for his error in mixing me up with a previous tenant at this address....he is sending at no charge my order from Monday night. I was impressed that he researched the situation and realized I was being truthful....it is a shame that people can not believe your words this business must have dealt with some horrible people looking for a "free lunch" this was not the case for me....I hope they call when they get here..Thank you Tim. read more
