I heard about this place on a Facebook group. I happen to be in the Framingham area and was in the mood for a luncheon combination plate. The lady who greeted me at the register was very friendly, I ordered the general tso's chicken and hot and sour soup instead of an appetizer- those are the options The Hot and sour soup was good. I enjoyed my general tso's chicken, the rice I needed to add a little duck sauce, but after moving the rice into the sauce of general tso's sauce it was all delicious and a great value for the money. $11.75 I definitely would recommend coming here and I look forward to going back. if you haven't been you should definitely give them a try read more

Great local place that makes authentic Chinese food and American Chinese food. My fave is the Singapore Mei Fun - rice vermicelli with pork, shrimp, egg, bean sprouts and curry; this dish does not have gravy. The Moo Shi Pork is full of flavor and ingredients; and it's fantastic they use the authentic pancakes for you to roll up your food. You can taste the spiciness and tanginess in the Hot & Sour Soup as it should be. The Crab Rangoons are pretty much the current standard and the way they should be - cheesy without onions; I haven't found a place in a long time where you see/taste any crab. Nice local family owns the place. There's seating in the restaurant but it's cafeteria-style so order at the window. Most people get take-out. Their busy hours often start by 5:30pm with a 30-minute wait so call-in your order. read more

I stopped by and ordered a lunch combo for $9.45. I got the sesame chicken with pork fried rice and beef teriyaki. It was delicious but I would have preferred the chicken to be pan fried rather than deep fried. The service was fast and courteous. The beef teriyaki was tender and the best part of the meal. I'm actually surprised by how many good reviews. This had to be the most bland food I've ever eaten. Kung Pao with Shrimp - bland - the shrimp themselves were nice. The Won Ton Soup was so bad - maybe fresh but Wonton Soup is not just wontons (flavorless too) with broth and a few pork strips thrown in. With the chicken and black bean sauce - so not good. Unless this was a bad night I would not eat here. Probably the worst Chinese Restaurant I've ordered food from. read more

Now that this is the closest Chinese to my house, I've gone a few times in the past year. I really want to like this place, they've got a good variety and the prices are great. They're just really heavy on the ginger in their dipping sauces and dishes, the chicken fingers are VERY doughy, and they over-pepper their soups. That said, You do get duck sauce and fried noodles which is awesome, no one else around seems to do that anymore. A couple changes and I'd be a steady customer. read more

My friend recommended all the gluten frew options and i really like how almost all their food were made without gluten in them. This review is largely about the owners' children. I came into Zheng Garden to have lunch. While the parents are slaving in the back, the two middle school aged daughters are sitting in the dining room playing with phones and laptops. I ask if I can sit down for lunch. The daughters say yes, after initially not being sure lunch was served, despite lunch being on the menu. Then nothing. No menu. No water. Nothing. After a few minutes, I ask for a menu. One daughter seems annoyed to have to get it for me. I ask for water. I'm told that there is bottled water for sale in the soda fridge. I ask for tap water. Daughter at first declines but the upon my insistence brings some water -- tepid tap water in a small stryofoam cup. Then, nothing. Neither daughter approaches to take an order. Eventually I ask if I can order something. I end up having to leave the table and go up to the cash register to order rather than have a daughter take an order at the table. Daughter also confuses lunch special w regular dishes and rings up an amount much more than the lunch menu price. I also have to pay before going back to the table. Then daughter returns to playing w her phone. The mother eventually brings out the food. It is passable, typical Chinese food for Americans Neither daughter looks up from her phone again, let alone if I need anything or even if everything is OK. To the parents: teach your daughters how to run a proper dining room. I felt like I was intruding on their social media entertainment time. I realize the phones are a disease afflicting our society, so fixing your dining room issues may be a challenge. I'd suggest perhaps requiring the daughters to work as waitresses in some other restaurant for a while to learn how to treat guests. And I'd take away their phones and laptops, at least during working hours. read more

I love the food here, granted I haven't tried everything. I usually order the Peking raviolis, also known dumplings cause they're my favorite. Sometimes I'll get them fried and other times steamed. I find the dumplings to be one of the more authentic options when ordering from here and any small Chinese takeout. I wish the hot and sour soup had less corn starch. The food here is more American Chinese food style. It is catered towards Westerners mostly (the fried rice, crab rangoon, egg roll, beef and broccoli, fried stuff, etc ). My family likes the general Gau's chicken, fried rice, beef and broccoli. I like that this place has an open kitchen and makes the food on demand. A few days before New Years day I placed a delivery order. This my review of each item: The bone in spare ribs were overcooked and charred. One of the ribs was all bone and no meat. 3 stars. Moo Goo Gai Pan had an abundance of fresh mushrooms, a few carrot slices and a few pea pods and water chestnuts. It needed more vegetables such as broccoli. There was a good amount of chicken and the sauce was tasty. 4 stars. Vegetable tofu soup had an ample amount of tofu but the broth lacked flavor. 3 stars. I asked for a small container of steamed white rice but received a large container. Not a big deal but I didn't get what I asked for. 3 stars. The restaurant adds a 15% gratuity to the total of the order. This goes to the delivery driver. The order was delivered on time and I gave the delivery man an additional $5 as a tip. He didn't thank me. 2 stars. I may order from them again but in all likelihood I will pick up the order in lieu of dealing with an unappreciative delivery driver. read more

Very good food! We usually go to Three Gorges but the last time we went there it was a bad experience so we wanted to try something new. We got the pupu platter for 2 and Peking dumplings. Everything was fresh, hot and delicious! Even the rice seemed fresh and usually from Chinese take out, it seems like it was sitting for a bit but not this rice. My order was not prepared correctly, so that immediately cost them 2 stars. As far as I'm concerned, the food could be described in one word.. bland. The fried rice had no taste and the beef teriyaki was chewy and lacked any flavor. The egg roll shell just tasted off. I can't put my finger on what it was, it just didn't taste right. I seem to be in the minority of people who have had a bad experience here, so maybe I caught them on an off day. That said, I won't be returning as they didn't show me anything that would make me want to come back. read more

I have been looking for great Chinese food in Mass for over a year (we would travel to New Hampshire for a spot we loved) and Zheng Garden did not disappoint. So glad we found this place, I truly cannot say enough good things about it! I ordered off their website--which is always a plus for convenience--and was able to checkout using PayPal. I received our confirmation immediately, food was delivered quickly (maybe 30-40 minutes, which during the pandemic is incredible in itself) and the driver dropped off with a mask. Our food was so fresh and flavorful...we ordered General Tsos chicken, beef teriyaki (on a stick appetizer), beef and broccoli, beef lo mein, and a side of white rice.
