Wasn't great. Didn't taste fresh, fried appetizers weren't crispy/cooked enough, and the rice tasted days old. Delivery was super fast though! read more

Food made us violently ill and since I'm pregnant we had a nice six hour stay at the hospital to make sure baby was ok and no flu. No flu and husband was also sick, definitely was the food. Never again. read more

Food is amazing my family and I always order from here. Delivery is fast the price is good too affordable. The orange chicken is the BEST ! The orange shrimp too ! The place is a bit dirty that's why I can't give fully 5 stars also the parking there is a bit hard to find since is downtown framingham so we always get our food deliver read more

This place is amazing. I live in Natick and was looking for a great spot to replace my favorite spot in Boston that had great crab rangoon. I am VERY picky but the Joy Luck Club did not disappoint. My favorite is their egg foo yung, crab rangoon and boneless spareribs. I love this place. read more

This is par for subpar late night Chinese food after everyone else is closed. Stick to the standards. Lo Mein or Fried Rice. They bread stuff too much. The cashew chicken is breaded. Everything is too bready and gummy. Fine when no other options exist. read more

This place is amazing! First night in Mass. and I needed delivery to my hotel late. They were open, friendly and very reasonably priced. I got my food and was very impressed by the quality and quantity of food for the price. I went back tonight, the only negative thing I will say, is they must have been low on sweet and sour sauce because I ordered the sweet and sour chicken and instead of two, I only got one extremely watered down sauce. Other than that the food was fresh and delicious read more

Great food at great prices. Courteous staff tailor meals for allergies without a complaint. Been using the delivery for years. Food always comes hot. BIG portions on the combo meals. Be prepared for fresh and delicious food. Make sure to try the broccoli chicken The owners are great and I'm so glad they are back after the COVID closure. read more

With a restaurant name like Joy Luck Club, how can things possibly go wrong? Unfortunately, this Happiness Fortune Organization leave much to be desired. First off, I got delivery, and for a delivery charge of $2-$2.50, I would expect them to at least put in some napkins and some plastic utensils. But then again, this seems to be a common trend within Framingham and I am new to this area so what the heeeeelll do I know. In my order, I had fried chicken wings, pork lo mein, beef w/ brock (my short way of saying broccoli; for future reference), and fried scallops. --------------- fried chicken wings: 4/5, but then again, how can you really screw up fried chicken wings pork lo mein: 3.5/5, a bit on the dry side, but not too shabby. another traditional chinese dish that most chinese restaurants tend to keep a solid 2.5-3.5 beef with broccoli: 3/5, kinda bland and the beef had a bit of a weird texture fried scallops: 0/5, this was absolutely horrendous. hate at me all you want for ordering seafood at a chinese restaurant, but my joint back in jersey had some bangin' scallops. this was not the case as the scallops tasted really fishy and the breaded coating was not on the same page with the scallops either. Welp. On the bright side, they're open late so maybe I'll put in another order in the wee hours of the night when I'm not sober and perhaps I may end up writing another drunk-yelp review again. read more

Joy Luck Club was a weekend treat through my years at Framingham State. They delivered to the dorms, which beat having to wait for the shuttle just to get my car to go out. JLC was always one of my top takeout places. JLC is just another local Chinese place, but with one difference: it's actually good! They have a great variety of dinner plate selections, which is often a weakness at these places. They make an awesome chicken wing, and their lo mein is very good. They also have pretty decent General Gao's chicken as well (it's so hard to find good Gao). Everything is reasonably-priced, even for a college student's budget! read more

Some pretty impressive Chinese take out here! Large delicious portion of General Chow's, crispy crab rangoons (best I've had in a while) and some pretty good chicken lo-mein. We wanted spring rolls but, surprisingly, they do not have them. We got egg rolls in stead but they were kinda bland. Reasonably priced and very quick. I called, got in the car and had the food in 15 mins. Will def order out here again! read more

Best for Framingham area by far, in my opinion. Lots of food, not so greasy and very tasty. This place has resemble prices too. read more

Sunday January 9/2022 around 5;20pm, I walk in and place my order for a small chicken fried rice, a large beef fried rice, a large beef lo mein . My bill came to $20.40. I gave the cashier $21.00 and I received my change. While waiting for my order looking at the menu I decided I wanted a order of egg rolls, I spent another $4.00 and change , gave the cashier a 5 dollar bill received my change back, I wasn't given a receipt nor did they ask if I wanted one. I got home take the food out of the bag there was no chicken fried rice. I call back tell them that I just left from their store and I didn't get my small rice, he told me that they didn't charge me for the chicken fried rice, I don't understand how he could get my order wrong because when I walked in there they were not busy. So the bottom line was I should have gotten a receipt, I know lot of people don't want their receipt, I also took in consideration that the location of the store, there is lot's of homeless people, I also try to reach out to the feedback put in my initial complaint no response read more

Literally only getting one star because there's no way to put no stars. Didn't even bother getting food. I walked in and there was a guy in the back smoking a cigarette. Thank god I saw that before I ordered. I'm usually not one to complain but that's just nasty. He was cooking food probably for customers and there was food all around him. There was also food practically on the floor on the top of flipped over 5 gallon buckets. Will never be considering this place again even it's the only way to get food and im starving. I'll pass read more

Joy Luck Club - a plate of joy luck food...chicken wings, crab stick, sesame chicken, house fried rice, under there is fried fish - Chinese Near Me - Framingham, Massachusetts

Location and parking horrible, rice ok , egg rolls good, steak teriyaki constantly under cooked, chicken wings over battered, fried shrimp good, extreme cheapskates with the duck sauce. read more

Sorry but I based my decision on the previous 2 reviewed. I ordered pork fried rice with lobster sauce. The rice is hard, the sauce is way too salty, AND it wasn't the fried rice, but white rice. Also ordered Hunan beef with fried rice. the Rice is hard as well. I requested one chicken wings with one order and spring roll in the other, guess what... i got both orders with chicken wings. Not satisfied. Han Dynasty is better. No parking. I feel bad but the food gotta be good. read more

I'd give 0 stars if possible! This place is awful! The lady picks up the phone and slams it down and yells please hold. I can hear her taking a credit card order on the other line and reading off the other customers card number, exp date, security code. Then she proceeds to yell at me because I asked what my total would be. I try to explain that I'm at a business so that delivery driver needs specific directions. She hung up before I could get this out. Again, I called back and ask for a total and again she hangs up on me. Ridiculous! The food could could be the most amazing in the state and I'd still refuse to do business with this place again! read more

I just LOVE this place, after years of getting my food from them I have never been disrespected likebto was when i went to Tango. Great food, the best chicken wings. read more

Was staying in a hotel in the area about two years back in December. The holiday rush at the nearby Natick Collection Mall made traveling dangerous and irritating so the hubby and I decided to get some delivery at the hotel. We got a menu at the front desk of Hampton Inn and placed an order. The food came quickly and was DELICIOUS! It tasted like gourmet chinese takeout, if that even makes sense. Would love to eat at this place again! read more

We just moved from Chicago and it's been tough finding our go-to late night Chinese take out restaurant! We've tried a few others in the area, but so far this has been comparable to our fave place in Chicago! Satisfied with the food and fast delivery. Glad to have found it! read more

Food was delicious! Ordered off the suggestion of the concierge of the hotel and was not sorry. The Golden Fingers (sm) was huge (like 6 pieces) and they were still piping hot and crispy when they arrived. I would definitely recommend this restaurant if you're looking for Something great to eat! read more

My family and I tried Joy Luck Club for the first time tonight. We were very happy with our meal. The portions were large and priced right. We ordered 2 chicken dishes that came with white rice and it was plenty for my husband, myself, and our 2 kids. The beef teriyaki was great. We have found our new favorite Chinese place! read more

Not the best customer service if the young man isn't working. Really the only fast food Chinese food in Framingham I would eat. Chicken wings are a hit or miss sometimes great sometimes salty. So to sum it up if your starving, it's late and you're in the mood for Chinese this is a great place. read more

We just moved to the area, and are so very happy to have found this place. We got delivery, and the delivery person was very nice, which was a great first impression. Our food was delicious, and the portions were generous. For under $30, we could feed 4 people. read more

I can't believe I paid for this. I should have been paid to eat it. I ordered the Moo Shoo Pork, it was 99.5% salty brown cabbage 0.5% over cooked thin pork. I also got a side of chicken fingers, the chicken fingers could have been good but were soggy by the time they got here. Very disappointing all around. read more

Not good.... looks like it would be that authentic grimmy chinese food but its not. i always get the same thing- sweet and sour chicken and they managed to screw that up. gave minimal sauce ( literally ran out after 2.5 chicken strips) and it was not flavorful at all. long wait time- if they did grade rating here like they did in NYC this place would have probably been shut down.... read more

I love this place and the food but to much crackheads like there was a guy with a ciggie in his ear like wtf

This place is usually good but I found TWO cockroaches and a strand of hair in my rice. Unfortunately I will never order again. I've heard of stories before but never believed it. But now I experienced it myself. Definitely unsanitary. read more

I really can't believe this place has only one review! This is the place I always order from at FSC (or ...FSU now? idunno...rambling...) Anyway- the food is always hot and always comes in a timely fashion. Prices are cheap, food is great, and the people who answer phones are always friendly - which you don't often find when you're calling for food at 1AM. My roommate and I always get the pork fried rice, steamed dumplings, and some other chicken or pork dish- all have been wonderful- especially the dumplings....oh man...the dumplings!!! My mouth is watering just thinking about it. Is it September yet? I'll be giving this place a ring within the first week of classes. My only issue with them is that you can't easily find their menu on the web. I think they'd really benefit by using an online ordering website- a la foodler or grubhub. But I don't mind picking up the phone for this delicious spot! read more

I asked for well done pan fried Peking raviolis. What I picked up were Peking raviolis that were barely pan-fried and two of them were open so I could see the beef inside. Over boiled and barely pan-fried. I also ordered large beef lo mein with extra beef. The noodles were super soggy and I can barely see the beef because the pieces were so small. I tried to eat it but I couldn't so I wasted almost $18 on food I can't eat. You may think I'm being picky but I don't want anyone else to make the same mistake I did tonight. read more

Great food here, been coming for years, best Chinese restaurant to go at night. Open until 2 am on weekend.
