Based on the appetizers alone this would be one star. The crab rangoons were bland. Absolutely no crab taste at all. They had a lot of cream cheese filling and you might think that was a good thing but it wasn't. It was just a lot of cream cheese with no flavor. Overwhelming cream cheese that I squeezed out. The peking ravioli were the worst I have ever had. The filling was just weird in taste and texture. The dough was way too thick even for a peking ravioli that should be on the thicker side. Hard pass on those. The vegetable fried rice saved the order but still a issue. The taste was good and it had bean sprouts that I love. However there were no other vegetables at all. Not one green pea, nothing. read more

Food came out too fast. Not bad but one gets the feeling it wasn't that fresh. Highly touted Mai tai acceptable but not exceptional.

We sat in the dining area, near the door, it was cold. It was between lunch and dinner. The waiter just ignored us for a while. He was bothered by our presence. We wanted to order a chow mein dish with rice and apps He served us a dish that was not what we ordered . Then we told him he didn't care. The food was cold too. The waiter was very rude and the place only had one other customer. He overcharged us for the wrong dish which wasn't wanted. I will never go back. read more

IT is my favorite place. Very respectful people there. The foods is really good. I goes there many times.

Let's get things straight, the ambiance is decent. Service is kind and quick. But that's where the positives mostly end, the wonton soup is decent. The beef fried rice is decently warm, but with the crab Rangoon, it doesn't have enough crab in it to feed a mouse. They should call it cottage cheese Rangoon. Nice waitstaff but most likely would not come back unless only thing open read more

I love their food and go as often as I can. I wish they delivered. The Won Ton soup in many places tastes like dish water, but their's is great. Their Beef and Broccoli is really good too... nice tender Beef. read more

The food here is generic Chinese and is quite tasteless and boring. I had the Szechuan chicken and it was bland and not spicy at all. The order contained one hot red pepper but the spiciness did not transfer to the food. There were no vegetables at all in the order. We also had a specialty chicken dish which was essentially moo goo gai pan with fewer vegetables. This was very bland and almost inedible. We had both hot and sour soup and wonton soup. Both had a funny taste and were different than we have ever had anywhere else. The only thing we had that could be considered to be tasty was the egg rolls although they were expensive. in fact everything seemed to be a few dollars more than at other area restaurants with much lower quality. I would not return to this place and would recommend trying one of the other Chinese restaurants in the area. read more

Tasty food and great service although the place looked like a ghost town. The only thing with people was the bar and that was packed. The drinks were really good as well. Definitely recommend the Crispy Garlic Shrimp, it was really good. Only complaint is the price. read more

Is it the best.... no, but it's good. If I want a real Chinese meal, this isn't my first choice, but it will do in a pinch. I have been twice in the past 5 months and probably won't won't be back... like I said, it was okay, but there are better restaurants in the area. Going here was convenient. That was why I chose to try again. The Crispy Chicken was not crispy, and once the sauce was added, it was soggy. Moo Shu Pork was very, very disappointing....not shredded pork but ground pork with a lack luster flavoed sauce. So, for one order of egg rolls and 35$ later .... I would have been happy with the egg roll.. read more

This was a staple restaurant for us, but boy has the food gone downhill! Either they lost their chef or they just don't care about the food anymore and too busy counting their $. Ordered Chow fun with Pork, which was the worst I've ever had at this place. Pork was so chewy and bland, similar to the bland flavor of the Chow fun itself. Scallion pancakes were dry and inedible, they used to have really good scallion pancakes, now just shoe leather that they try to pass as them. Chicken satay was again dry and flavorless and quite honestly inedible as well. I am so disappointed I used to love Cherry Blossom. My recommendation is for anyone looking for Chinese food to spend their hard earned $$ at another restaurant, whatever they had...they lost it. read more

My daughter lived near here so we stopped in for lunch. Our first observation was a couple of regulars from the lounge sitting by the front door chain smoking and scowling (probably not at us, but reflecting upon their disgusting habit?) But I digress... Solid three stars... not bad, not great. I feel that even mediocre Chinese food is better than none at all, so keep that in mind! Scorpion bowl wasn't bad, although I prefer when they are orange in color vs. pink. They have a buffet which seems to be very popular and is refilled often. Ordered cold noodles with sesame sauce, but what arrived at the table looked like vomit on a plate. I actually took a photo before eating it (and in fairness it tasted better than it looked.) Prices were average, so if you're in the area I would suggest trying it once. read more

My friend and I went here for dinner last night. We arrived around 9:45, the posted hours on the door say they are open until 11. So why were we rushed through our dinner and forced to leave before 10:30? Service was the worst I've had yet and super rude. We sat down, and had barely opened the menu when our waitress (who was standing over us) said "hurry order now because the kitchen is closing" My friend ordered a Pupu platter for 2, I ordered veggie lomein and steamed white rice. But the waitress gave us some BS "white rice is too much for you it's $2 extra you already ordered a lot of food" We were shocked as we are grown women, and are spending money at your restaurant so don't judge ??! After being fat-shamed and talked down to, my friend and I sipped our waters and contemplated leaving because who wants to be judged while enjoying Chinese food? Our food came out pretty fast which was concerning. The presentation of our pupu platter was cool with a tiny fire in the middle. I'll link a picture of it. The veggie lomein tasted the same as any other cheap restaurant does. Nothing special. And of course no rice! Our waitress disappeared as soon as we made space on the table for the platters. She didn't come back to our table for quite a while, not even to refill our drinks. I did see her peeking at us from around the corner on occasion though. I grabbed her attention when she was walking by once and told her I never got my rice. She loudly goes "oh! You wanted that??" with massive attitude and under her breath while walking away said "but you already have so much" Ugh. When she finally came back with the rice (yay!) she dropped the check and a couple fortune cookies on our table. We were still eating and obviously engaged in conversation. She stood at our table and angrily stared at us while we finished our meals which made us really, really uncomfortable. When we paid, she immediately opened the booklet. She laughed at what we gave her, saying "you tip more I waited on you for an hour" and wouldn't take no for an answer. For the absolute shit service, judgement, and massive attitude, she did not deserve more than $2. After quite an ordeal we ended up giving her a regretful 20%. I would never recommend this place to anyone and will definitely be sharing this experience to anyone who asks. Edit: Eating their food has cured my constipation. Thanks, Cherry Blossom. read more

This is the absolute worst Chinese food I've ever had and to boot the most expensive, have not eaten there in Roughly 2 years but thought I would try one more time before I closed the door and I should have closed the door besides the person who takes the orders about the rudest individual I've felt with in along time their food has actually gotten worse than the last time I went, I still wouldn't give to my dog . Every year my brother-in-law invites the entire family here to dinner for the buffet and every year we leave thinking the same thing - AWFUL! We literally went to dinner days before at one of the best in Boston's Chinatown (Peach Farm) before coming here so I have something fresh in my mind to compare this to. Let me make a major caveat first. This is chinese american food. This is not authentic chinese food by any means. So if you're looking for what you'd find in Chinatown then this is the wrong place. But if you want sweet and sour chicken, crab rangoons, fried noodles, and fried chicken wings then this is your restaurant. They make an effort to cook the authentic chinese dishes but to disastrous results. We always come for the buffet because of the all you can eat lobster (offered only on certain weeknights) but it's far from a saving grace. On our recent visit, some of the more "authentic" dishes we ate were beef and broccoli, shu mai (dim sum pork dumplings), spicy green beans, spicy fried squid, fried rice, lobsters with scallions and ginger, and shrimp with snow peas. Everything was bland and tasteless. Fried items often had a heavy coating of flour and soaked in oil. We also got won ton soup but all the dumplings were raw. Of course, we discovered this after my daughter finished off her bowl. The bright spots of the buffet were the fresh honeydew melon and longan fruit (canned though). I can't comment on the regular menu because we always do the buffet. They do have a full menu from what I can tell. They have a full bar too complete with scorpion bowls and mai tais. The service itself was fine. They seem very accomodating and friendly. It's family friendly and good for groups too. I don't know what they charge for the buffet but I imagine it's around $20/person. Overall, I didn't find the food quality to be very high. In terms of value, you get quantity over quality. We were the ONLY chinese (or asian for that matter) family eating in the restaurant which is a huge tell tale sign whenever you are eating in an chinese restaurant. And it was pretty busy that night! read more

I used to love this restaurant when I was a kid. Every now and then me and my family would go to the buffet and it was like an event. They easily had one of the best buffets in the area. Cherry Blossom used to be the choice destination for take-out by my family, but in recent years the price and quality of food have started to travel in different directions. The last few orders I placed there were extremely sub par and the price has continued to climb. I have taken my business elsewhere. read more

Basically 2 1/2 stars: Old and a bit worn looking on the inside, pleasant enough staff. I had the buffet which was pretty decent/average, about what I would expect for 8 bucks. The lo mein was a bit dry, the boneless pork was rubbery, but the vegetables in all the steam trays were fresh and tasty. I have NEVER seen a Chinese buffet without chicken fingers, so this was a first for me. read more

The menu is huge and out of all of the items on there they seemed to not be good at cooking any of them. Even the edamame seemed overcooked. Only one item that we ordered tasted remotely good. The service is fast and they are very nice, our food was ready for takeout in 15 minutes. But, I wish we had just cooked at home. It was overall a waste of money. read more

Great food, crab rangoons and lo mein is amazing!!! 9!@6 reason I don't give it 5 stars is because the staff can be nicer.

Was going here about once a week for a year or so. The lunch buffet was ok. Night time lobster buffet was great. Now to last night. Went, after not having gone for months because the quality of the food had gone down hill. What? No lobster? Buffet was not up to par. The quality is just not there anymore. That's why I stopped going. The place was busy but I think they were all looking for lobster. Again, no lobster. The place is old and needs a makeover inside. How about a coat of paint on the walls. I don't think I will be going back again after this last visit. read more

Ugh. Well, this was disappointing to say the least. Some friends and I headed here on a recommendation from someone who had been to the Cherry Blossom a few years back. We opted to do the buffet and quickly regretted it. The crab rangoons were 99% cream cheese, the spareribs were tough as nails, the rice was undercooked and the whole buffet was lukewarm. On top of the awful food, the price was utterly ridiculous at $18/person. Needless to say we won't be returning. read more

What a shame. They just don't care anymore. Is it because we're very limited in our area that they think it's ok to serve such blah, old & tasteless food? We got the usual: Pupu platter for 2 and pork Lo Mein. The chicken in the chicken fingers was rubber, not over cooked dry. Rubber!! Undercooked egg rolls, bland chicken wings and mystery meat in the Lo Mein....... We desperately need a good Asian restaurant not on Rt. 9. . This is not it. We're done..... Always loved the bartender, though. read more

This place is almost the opposite from the Asian restaurant down the street. It looks horribly outdated and greasy but the food is delicious. Much more reasonably priced, takeout comes with rice. The buffet is of decent quality, albeit a small assortment of food. For some reason the buffet rice is always dry to the point where its hard/crunchy in the buffet which is a shame and an easy fix if they just set up a cooker or something. Biggest minus is the smoking shed they have in front, for some reason I every time I'm there there's someone smoking which is not really appetite inducing going into a restaurant. read more

I will definitely give it another try because everyone has an off night here and there. But one of my big pet peeves was the inside of the crab rangoons were cold. I know the chef is not back there whipping up my fresh food made to order, but I guess I like the illusion that it's a bit fresher. My tea cup had a giant crack in it and the tea leaked out. I've heard many good things about this place so I will try again. read more
