We came 1/4 for First Friday. I highly highly suggest making a reservation, they are on Open Table. We had a reservation for 8, and started at the bar while the table was being prepared. The bar staff communicated well, and were discussing what to improve upon moving forward, so they are are not only knowledgeable staff, they want to make sure you are not waiting long for your drinks. Our waitress was very very kind and engaging. We were server bread and oil. Ordered the Crispy Lobster appetizer, came with four balls. My entree was the salmon, it was amazing and filling. I love sauces and it complemented everything on the plate- best brussel sprouts I have ever had. My partner ordered the short rib and spinach, the spinach was amazing. Wow!!!! My fiancée and I were just looking to try something new and had no idea how amazing everything was from the location to service and food and drinks! Not to mention that the prices were extremely reasonable given the high end style of food we were able to choose from on the menu! Our waitress Rachel was super sweet and very accommodating. After making it to the top floor and walking across a very scenic bridge high above Bethlehem, into the aesthetically pleasing and beautiful restaurant. The staff are very professional and friendly! They even stopped to help us get a picture of our small group of four. Service was decently speedy and they checked up on us regularly. The food is presented very well and it tastes even better than it looks if that's even possible! After taking nearly to long to decide what to order I went with the roasted avocado toast for a starter and the blackened salmon for my entrée and I'm so glad I did. Everyone else was very pleased with their choices as well! We wished we could have saved room for dessert, but the entrées were decently proportioned! Came for lunch the other day. The ambiance is really nice and modern and open. The server was really nice but everything took so long. We ordered two appetizers to share, the crab tempura and the chicken dumplings both amazing but small portions. I share the brisket sandwich with my sister. It was good but not much meat on the sandwich at all. Fries don't come with the sandwich and they seem like really cheap fries. My fiancé ordered the burger which was good but cheese doesn't come on it. Waited a really long time for the bill and then waited some more for the payments to be run. It's pretty new so maybe it will get better in time but seemed a waste of money. Maybe dinner would be better. read more

We were here on their second Saturday of being open. Worries a bit about slow service but we had a great experience here. We had a reservation which was a must. Although there were some Large parties, we had prompt service and the food, although pricey the food was creative and declicous. We started with the Asian salad which had a nice peanut dressing which was rich but not overwhelming. We had the tuna, the crab spring rolls, the edamame dumplings and the prawns. All were delicious and portion size was not overwhelming-just enough for two people. Only disappointment was that the dumplings were only lukewarm. Our server, Everett, was great-kept the food coming and provided professional service-not too intrusive but always there when you needed him. Looking forward to coming back. read more

Kind of hard to find parking near the restaurant either parked in a garage nearby or street parking that has meter. Arriving at the door and coming up the elevator zest is on the very top floor. The restaurant layout is kinda small but it has a very chill vibe not too loud, and of course the patio was the only reason I was interested in the restaurant and the patio did not disappoint but only small tables or two or four can fit bc it's kind of a smaller balcony. Lovely view of the sky but Bethlehem city is not that pretty even from higher ground. Because I came to the restaurant during "Covid" season the menu was small not many choices but the food was delicious not my style the drinks were a little bitter and not strong. Their octopus is so good, I haven't tried a single thing from there I didn't like. It is a fancier place so if you're young be careful because they might look at you like you can't afford to eat there even though it's not that expensive. The lighting is perfect for a romantic date night. read more

The bar staff is typically pretty responsive but often very busy due to the number of cocktails that hit the bar for the entire restaurant. No real complaints there. I really enjoyed Zest's Ambiance. Maybe because of the location I was really not fond of walking through what I felt like a maze to get into it. You go up one elevator from the parking deck to follow the signs to another elevator after walking through a walkway that was leaking water before you even get into the restaurant and they don't validate all your parking, don't quote me but if I recall I think they only validate up to an hour, what if I wanna have more drinks after I eat. The staff was very accommodating I must say and even though I had a few negatives I really did like how accommodating they were. One of my co workers is gluten free so she could not enjoy the appetizers, they went out of their way to make her something off menu to ensure that she gets the Zest experience. For my meal I had Filet Mignon over a risotto. The Mignon was cooked perfectly medium and tasted good, but what threw me off was the nasty risotto. Maybe it was an off day, but it was extra mushy at some points and had hard pieces at others, had no flavor and because it was under my steak it kind of threw my whole meal off. The appetizers we had were not bad, I did not care for the edamame dumpling shown in the picture because the texture on the inside was not to my liking. Spring rolls, and we had some type of crispy chicken dumpling on a stick, but it wasn't bad. I did taste my co workers salmon and it had flavor but was so dry. It was very overcooked. Now I get it a lot of this food I try is because I work in the mental health field and we have a lot of pharmaceutical dinners. We only get a few items off the regular menu, but I expect the same quality of food as if I was ordering off a regular menu, it's all coming from the same kitchen and these pharmaceutical reps pay a lot of money for us to eat at these restaurants and because I'm a foodie, I like going to these restaurants because it helps me to decide if I wanna come back. Oh desert excellent the caramel cheesecake and the chocolate cake which was flourless yummy!!!!!! Oh a big plus which I completely forgot to get pictures of the Decor very nice they had some really nice art pieces and hanging lights that I loved. Came with high expectations for a nice anniversary dinner. My husband and I almost never get to go "out." We went on a Tuesday night, ambiance was nice, we sat on the terrace. The food left a lot to be desired at their price point. Would highly recommend that you pass on the mussels, the broth lacks depth of flavor and they sprinkle ground up flavorless chorizo on top with a few sundried tomatoes and mostly stale bread for dipping. We also received a stale, cafeteria quality chocolate croissant that accompanied our espresso ice cream for dessert. My entree was ok (shrimp and scallops-serving size 3 of each for $42) but my husband's entree the "Wagyu/Angus" hybrid steak was under-seasoned even though it was cooked to his desired temperature and not worth the $60 market price. The Duck Confit Goat Cheese pierogi appetizer was good but we did not taste the goat cheese at all. Goat cheese is generally pretty distinct and tangy. The service was good and because it was our special night out, we didn't complain but it was the joke of our early morning breakfast conversation--"and that stale croissant tasted like it came from Sam's club!" read more

Wasn't particularly wowed by anything except for the dessert. The Carmel macchiato cheesecake was great bit other than that I'm not sure that the dinner was good enough to go back for. I had the scallops and risotto. Scallops were cooked to perfection but very bland and risotto was so pasty and stiff that I thought they were mash potatoes. We visited recently with my friend without reservations and asked for a balcony table. We were walked to a table at the back of the EMPTY balcony. When we jokingly asked if they were walking us out, the young hostess sarcastically muffled under her breath 'it will be filled soon enough' while flipping her hair walking away. If it wasn't for the wonderful kind waitress, we would have left due the rude hostess comment. The next table also commented on how far they were placed. We all joked it must be because we smell. I love this place. Maybe my favorite restaurant in the Lehigh Valley. We try to get there once a month. My wife and I prefer to sit at the bar if any seats are available. We have been seated at tables and the service is alway phenomenal, but we feel like we get to know a place better sitting at the bar. The bartenders are always great. Very knowledgeable of the menu and great for giving suggestions. The drinks are always perfect! The food is first class! I believe everything is reasonably priced as well. Her service wasn't that of a server, it was hospitality at its best. You come here for the amazing view of Bethlehem. That sunset view this time of year is magical. Food was fantastic. From the beer and cocktail selection, to the I ate five pieces too many of perfect table bread, to the perfectly shareable apps of fried cauliflower and chicken dumplings (that stick thing is not edible), entrees are pricy but they are creatively crafted, delicious, and shareable. We shared the braised beef short ribs and Jacque kindly had them split plates in advance and I was floored at the portion size. Dessert section was a treat and the trio of house sorbets and the tres leches were delightful. A fantastic dining experience from start to finish.
