This company came out in July 2022. We had a new pet in the house and needed extra cleaning due to this. I said this on the phone and went over in detail to make sure if I needed to add services I did so upfront to get a correct quote and we did add extra services to every room due to this. They came out and they wanted to add a lot of different services saying they only make commission when they can add services at the time they show. It felt like pressured sales -solicitation and I called with all the info upfront to avoid this. They cleaned the carpet and they said if the some of the stains show once it dried to call back and they would come back out. The gentleman were nice but I could tell right away it did not seem like a thorough clean. The clean job seemed like an amateur job we could do with a rug doctor or home shampooer. It did not appear to me to look like a professional job that is a deeper clean than I might do on my own. Stains showed within an hour and by the end of the day most were still there. I called and sent them pictures as requested. They said the tech manager would review with the technicians and they would come back out. I called quite a few times to follow up. They kept saying they would call and come back out but it it over 2 months later, no follow up, nothing. I would definitely not use this company again. It felt like a waste of my money and time for sure. I have a very old dog and very icky carpet from his many accidents. I figured I would try a 'Hail Mary' cleaning to at least start somewhere in my cluttered home. I heard the ad for Zerorez on 105.3 and took the chance. Nathan and Oswaldo were kind, helpful, respectful, and very fair in what they charged. They did a great job and were efficient and quick. Both times the service personnel were total professionals who consulted with me to see exactly what stains/dirt needed to be cleaned from the carpet in several rooms. I've used them for 5 years and this most recent time, after upselling me on some unnecessary high traffic area cleaning, they left my carpets more stained than when before they cleaned. This was over a month ago, and I've called and left messages many times since and despite their "gotta love it guarantee" that they'll "gladly return if you're unsatisfied for any reason" they won't return and address the problem unless I pay another $75. I used zerorez a year ago to clean the carpets in our small living room. The tech was great, friendly and did a fine job. We have two large dogs but keep a very clean home so the product was just as I expected when he was done. Just today I had zerorez out to clean the living room carpet and our natural stone tile kitchen and laundry room/mud room. I left during the service since we have two little ones and my husband was home but outside to comply with social distancing. When the tech was done he said goodbye and told my husband it looked 'brighter' (referring to the kitchen and laundry floor). I got home about and hour and a half after the service was complete to a floor that looked exactly the same! Not only that but there was still loose dirt and debris that I didn't get with my initial vacuum before they arrived. I called the tech directly to ask if he cleaned the kitchen and laundry to which he replied 'yes but it wasn't very dirty to begin with.' I called the office so they're having another tech come out tomorrow to 'look at it and re-clean'. I'd like to think I could update my review afterwards but I'm so appalled that someone would come in and say they did a job that clearly was not done that I'll have a hard time trusting this company again. read more

I knew my invoice would be higher than my initial quote due to pet treatment, but didn't know about the extra charge for a wool blend; so my bill ended up 130% higher than original bid. Machinery was dripping and leaking and spots were missed. I rubbed a clean towel on some wetter areas, and it came up dirty. Yes, they would come out for missed areas, but I don't want them back here; so I'll do it myself. There were a few other things also that just made this an unpleasant and unprofessional experience. Lesson learned - You get what you pay for. Ok results. Not happy with all the hidden fees that show up on your invoice that you receive AFTER the technician has left your home. We were surprised with being charged $25 for a 15-20 foot hallway that does not exist in our home. I did call and question it. I was offered a $25 credit on our next service. OK, full disclosure - I have known Boyd, the owner for this area, for many years. His grandfather actually invented the system and it works great. My wife used to date him back in high school. Despite that, I still let the guy into my house when I am not home. ZeroRez is the best service on the market. The process does not use soap to clean and dries fairly quickly. I am certain that some sort of magic must be involved. It is great if you have kids, pets, allergies, a desire to have it be really clean, or just have people in your house who leave your house cleaner than when they came. They also do your heating ducts. Our house is nearly 20 years old - we bought it three years ago. When we had them clean the ducts, it was amazing all the stuff they got out of them. In keeping with my trend, this place sucks. This time it's in a good way. I was very skeptikal all the tech mumbo jumbo on their marketing material was for real, but I think their carpet cleaning really works better than anything I've seen. What's different is these guys don't use soap to clean your carpet, they have some kind of patented water that doesn't pollute like soap does and doesn't attract stains like soap. We hired them recently to clean our carpet after a major remodel. It pretty much seemed like a good carpet cleaning job at first, but then they started showing my wife all the soap from the last few cleaning actually coming out of the carpet. Also, once the carpet dried, we noticed several stains that the other cleaners around were unable to remove are now gone... this is after multiple cleanings over 2 years ago. My only gripe is these guys REALLY believe in what they are selling and they let you know. Other than that, it seems like it was worth the slight premium in price. read more

First time user after years of using Coit and Stanley Steemer and the results are MUCH better than with any cleaner I've used. The downside first, cause of dropping one star: Zerorez advertises that they don't move furniture and then lists the types they don't deal with ie: large entertainment centers, large screen tv's and other electronics, expensive knick knacks etc, but they left out the most common items found such as chairs, sofas and coffee tables. I assumed, like every other carpet cleaner I've used, that those big bulky items get pushed to one side, carpet cleaned, items moved back and then that area is cleaned. Not hard to do when this 70 year old homeowner has help by the employee. NOPE, not with Zerorez. They will move NOTHING. On the day of our cleaning they had what I would guess as a rookie getting trained by a senior guy with 3 years at the company so they said they would help me move the couch, love seat, chair & ottoman and a coffee table. Even though I took all 6 dining room chairs out and removed two leaves from the table making it a small round table, they refused to move the table from one side if the room to the other. They said that they would clean around the four legs of the table only. This is with them charging $420. or almost double of every other carpet cleaning job. Now for the good news: I will admit that they did the best cleaning we've ever had on our Karastan carpet. They got ink and urine stains out that NOBODY has ever been able to remove. Also, its not drying all stiff and matted where you need to vacuum it after cleaning to loosen the fibres back up. And I, a pollen sufferer noticed right away that my breathing was better after they finished. I especially like the lawnmower looking machine with brushes that push the cleaning solution into the carpet before they use the steemer to suck it all back out with the dirt. So, overall happy with the job but would prefer them to knock a hundred off their price OR help customers out by moving SOME of the furniture around, especially for retired people. As it was I had already removed seven chairs, two flower stands, a piano bench, stereo speakers, exercise bike and two chairs in the basement rec room providing them access, but alas that even with that it wasn't enough for them to do the job. I ended up having to push the items around with minimal help from either employee. Took them about 2 1/2 hours total. read more

We used Zerorez when we lived in Phoenix and they did a fantastic job from scheduling to the finished job. So when it was time to have the carpets cleaned in a home in WA we again went with Zerorez. First, we went on their website on a Sunday to schedule and did not get a response till Thursday of that week. I confirmed the date and what areas we wanted done. They stated we would receive a phone call from the tech the day before with an arrival time. We never received a phone call and when we called to follow up we got an answering service. They were very pleasant, however, they could not help us. My husband called again and again got an answering service. They then contacted someone from Zerorez and they called us and stated that they had us scheduled for a completely different day than was confirmed. I cancelled the service and they were a bit surprised by this. I told them that from the beginning their customer service was below par and that we would not be using their services in the future. We did schedule with another company and I also wrote a far more pleasant review of their services. read more

These guys are awesome. The wood floors in our rental had some serious wear and tear, and a gross greyish film on top that wouldn't come up with any amount of scrubbing or mopping. Our experience was so positive from "talking" to Mark via e-mail to get price quotes, to the lady that confirmed our appointment, to Jesse who came exactly during the reserved time. Jesse did a FANTASTIC job cleaning our rugs and spent almost 3 hours making our carpets look great and our place smelling "fresh". You get what you pay for. Don't go on the cheap. I moved furniture and took time off to get my carpet cleaned for the holidays and I didn't get it done because they didn't have enough hose to reach my first floor apartment and their prices are high. I only used them because they came recommended on Seattle Refined on TV. Seattle has lots of apartments, why not send someone out to assess the job and the distance from truck to apartment so my time isn't wasted. And they offered spraying the most affected areas and I vacuum myself 6 hours later and they wanted to charge me the same price as a shampooing, Really? My experience: I called Zerorez because one of the well known carpet cleaning services had been out and they sprayed so much "dirt repellent" on my high traffic areas that my carpet felt sticky and literally looked black after only about 6 months! I didn't want more chemicals put on the carpet and I heard about Zerorez on the radio and decided to make the call. So glad I did! They took the time to listen to my concerns, they demonstrated how much soap or whatever was in my carpet by using their magic water lol! I tried to set an appointment with Zerorez online. However was not successful due to the calendar error. Zerorez called me the next day inquiring my booking. They got me on the schedule with in a week. Zerorez followed up prior to the scheduled time to confirm the time window. The technician called 15-30 minutes prior to arrival. Zack did a wonderful job with explaining what he was going to do and how much he would charge for additional services. I am pleased with the look and smell of my carpet after Zack was finished. The entire service only last an hour for three rooms and two hallways, with a walk-in closet. I would recommend using Zerorez. read more

My carpet ended up looking dirtier then before they cleaned it. Ive been trying to get the money back I paid since January 2020. They claim its because I used bleaching agents. They resent a tech out to reclean and he said he would be wasting my time because it would turn out looking the same. He even insinuated I may even end up with light spots showing up mysteriously. I called and jumped through their hoops and still no refund. After they never showed up for an appointment, cancelled appointments they still refuse to give me my refund. They say they pass on the message to the manager and I never receive call backs. They have offered 50% and blamed me saying I used bleaching agents on my carpet prior to them cleaning it. I have since cleaned it and it looks great and I have sent them pictures. Their response is well its because you used bleaching agents to clean it. This is an unethical company that gives a false guarantee. They do not honor the guarantee. They have wasted numerous hours of my time. The last technician called before coming during covid and said he would give us a 100 % refund after we reiterated what had happened. Said he did not need to come out. We got a notice via email that "we" had cancelled the appt and had to reschedule. Needless to say we would not recommend or ever use these services again. Had gotten a 4-hour window for arrival, so really appreciated the notice. Tech could not have been more professional. Donned booties, explained all the services offered, reviewed charges and showed me my bill before he started. My carpets look wonderful. Tech made recommendations for treating new dog spots. I had no idea! He was in and out in a little more than an hour. These folks are amazing. Well here I go again, a new review on a Carpet Cleaning Service......for those that are not familiar with my reviews, be advised I only write reviews on the best and on the worst of services. This particular review is a pleasure to share with all of my followers. I needed an indisputable carpet cleaning service so thanks to Yelp I found Zerorez of Puget Sound. Our technician named Brian was right on time, extremely polite, wore mask and protective overshoes. Our carpet was seldom walked on so I thought it really could not be much cleaner, boy was I surprised when I saw how much stuff he was able to vacuum with his $4,000 dollar vacuum cleaner. (even though I used my Dyson to vacuum the carpet in preparation for cleaning) Brian was very thorough to make sure any and all spots were removed. The carpet looks as new as it did 35 years ago. He took lots of pride to do it right. I am now a lifelong customer of Zerorez and will highly recommend the service to my family, friends and neighbors. I have used zero rez in the past and have been very happy with the results and service. I have also referred many others to use their company. I booked them again, and was very surprised to discover despite what is listed on their website that the carpet scrubbing/agitating is no longer included and it is an extra charge. This was one of the main reasons that I booked with them. In addition to this, the tech informed me that he was doing me a favor by not charging me extra because he had to park in the lot next to my building and walk farther (I live on the first floor right by the parking area and notified the company it was a condo/apartment when I booked) I called to question the lack of the agitation/scrubbing and she informed me that it is an extra charge. This is false advertising. My carpets don't even look any different. For 250 dollars I expected better results and better service. Beware when booking for hidden charges, false advertising and hidden costs. I wont be using this company again read more

Had these guys over to clean our downstairs carpet. What I always fear is a big negotiation and price increase when whatever carpet place I hired shows up. Happily this was the case here. I did add some stairs which they added a small additional price which was fair since it was additional. They did a great job. Only comment is the 6 hours of estimated dry time was very optimistic. it took 24 hours for carpet to dry but hey that's understandable and you should plan for that anyway. It look great and ill have them back next time they are needed. read more
