drinks were great, I got the tiger sugar milk and the strawberry horchata, which were both great (although the horchata was a bit too sweet for my liking). i also got the garlic butter salt fries and chicken wings which were really good, but a bit oily especially the fries. the wait was horrible, we were in line for like 20 minutes and after we ordered and waited for 15 minutes my friend was told there would be a wait on the chicken wings for 30 more minutes because they ran out i guess. he substituted it for tenders which were good but a real inconvenience. all in all i would return but i'd recommend going in the morning or evening before 3 to beat the traffic in the restaurant. read more

We came here last night and ordered 2 different drinks. They didn't give our drinks at the same time. First drink came after 30 minutes and second drink came after 45 minutes. Service was very slow and employees were not so friendly. They make their drinks by batches of same kind and not by order number. A few guys who came after us got their drinks first. I talked to the lady next to us and she was even waiting longer than us, "almost an hour" she said. Ube drink presentation was so good but tastes just any other taro drink you'll find in Denver. As a HUGE fan of Zero Degrees, this may have been the most disappointing experience I've ever had. Any where. Except maybe the DMV and the ER after a gun fight. Line was insane, which is normal for Zero Degrees, except this line was not caused by high demand happy customers, but because complete morons were working behind the counter. Not sure how such a limited menu can cause so much chaos and confusion, but DAMN. They messed up our order, and after trying to let them know for 15 freaking minutes, they had to nerve to ask us to open our food so they can examine. They gave us corn. We ordered fries. Does this require a medical diagnosis? Watermelon slushie was salty and nasty. Thai milk tea was a normal thai milk tea I could have gotten from the thai place down the street for half the price and in about 47 minutes less. SOOOOOO DISAPPOINTED ZERO DEGREES!!!! We heard about the opening and I was interested in trying the food and drinks! We stood in line and of course it was pouring but there were tents setup so we could stay dry which was very convenient! 4 stars because the drinks and the fries are fire. 2 stars because even though it's a fast food/take out restaurant there is a 50 minute wait. The line to order is a 30-40 minute wait. Then, the wait for your food is another 20-25 min. They give you a buzzer when you order so when your food is ready you can pick it up at the counter. Except they don't buzz you when your entire order is ready. Each item is made at different times. We ordered 6 items to go. Every 5-10 min our buzzer went off to pick up another item, so it took forever to get our entire meal. I ordered the shrimp and give it 2/5 stars. The shrimp was fried well and it had a delicious fried coating covered in sauce except I couldn't enjoy that because THE SHRIMP ARE NOT PEELED. Yes, that's correct. They deep fry the shrimp and smother them in a sauce, WITHOUT PEELING THE SHRIMP FIRST. Eating the shrimp was a catastrophe. I threw the first piece in my mouth, bit thru the sauce and fried coating and into...a shell. I thought maybe it was a fluke, maybe a single unpeeled shrimp made its way to the fryer- but No. I had to spit out every single shrimp and deconstruct it by uncoating the sauce and fried batter from the actual edible flesh. I almost choked a few times. WARNING: DO NOT ORDER THE SHRIMP. It is advertised as fried shrimp but needs to be changed to "Peel and eat" shrimp as the original name is misleading and will end someone up in the hospital. I have never left a review for any business, but strongly feel I have to leave one after today. Every time we order online and pick up, there is always some issue with our order. Forgetting the boba, gave us the wrong drink etc. Today, we ordered the drinks and it said it would be ready in 20 mins, my experience with the time has always been 40 minutes, so we waited before going. I then missed a call from them that they are not able to make one of the drinks, I called them back 7 times and no one answered my call! I got there and they not only cancelled just the order they couldn't make, they cancelled the whole order. I told them I tried to call back and no one answered the phone, I showed them the phone history on my phone and she was just "hmmm...not sure why the phone didn't ring", BS! She told me the wait would be 10 mins to redo my order, we waited 40 mins and the food came out 15 mins after our drinks. Total time was almost 2 hours! I should've listened to my sister and asked for a refund. I always spend $50+ whenever I come And spent over $60 today, I am taking my money elsewhere, NEVER coming here again! They don't deserve any stars from me, but only giving 1 because yelp requires it. Train your employees on customer service as as overall service and teach them how to answer a phone! read more

Went a week ago with some family and friends and was completely disappointed. For one, the wait was almost 2 hours just to get up to the counter to order then another 20 minutes for our food to be ready. The place is really small and stuffy with the amount of people that were there. Secondly, the buzzer situation wasn't pleasant at all. When our order was ready we went up to the counter and I was given the wrong drink and they didn't apologize or anything they made me feel like I was the one who made a mistake. My friend had also been given the wrong drink as well. Lastly, the food. All that waiting was completely not worth it. I had the split cup with matcha and Thai, the Cheeto fries, and the salt and pepper popcorn chicken. I was not impressed by anything I had especially for the price I had to pay for all of it. The pictures of the food and drinks make it look soooo good but the real thing is mediocre and tasteless. After seeing the massive lines out of the door of this place since it opened we through we'd give it a try. I guess I don't get the hype at all. We waited in line for 20 minutes, which seems to be a relatively short wait based on other reviews. We ordered two shakes and two boxes. We were told they were out of whip cream. Not a big deal. After another 20 minutes, we were told that they only made one shake because they ran out of soft serve. (It was only like 1:00PM.) They let me select another drink and it took another 10 minutes for it. Both drinks were good. After another 10 minutes, our food was ready. They said it took so long because the fries "take a while to cook." The food was just OK. The fries were super soggy and limp. The chicken was ok. To compensate for our time, the lady gave me some sort of punch card with "extra punches" as she said. Right on the card it said, one punch per item. We bought 4 items and she had punched it 4 times. I'm not sure how that was supposed to make it better. They gave us a card that they probably give to everyone with the appropriate number of punches (no where near enough for anything). For the price we paid, we could have received better food and service almost anywhere. I'm glad some people seem to have had a different experience, but to me this place seems unorganized, slow (1 register, really?), poor service, poor food quality, and expensive drinks. I came in on a hot day during the evening. The guy taking the order in the front who says he is the manager told me that he couldn't take my order because they were too busy. The reason was because they had too many orders from online. Online orders are priority. If I really wanted to order a drink I will have to wait over an hour. Are you kidding me? I even asked what if I ordered online. He told me it doesn't make a difference. There's like 5 people working in the front. Funny thing is I left and had my sister place an order online for pick up. SHE PICKED IT UP IN 13MINS after placing her order online thru postmates. I want to know why he didn't want to take my order and why or how is online order prioritize first? There was no one waiting at the store. My sister and I come here weekly to get drinks because we love the pink lychee drink. Is this how you serve your customers? Sounds like he was just lazy and didn't want to make drinks. It doesn't take long to make a drink. I use to work in a Boba shop. If they were really that busy they need to get it together. Ok, that's fine. So I wait in line for about 20 mins. Their system they have going is not a good one. When I got to the line the girl says they can't make anymore Mangonada'a which is crazy because they say they are "Home of the Mangonadas." Then you should always have your ingredients etc. 3 mins later I see they are making about 10 mangonadas. I get back in line & she says they can make them again. Wow what a change. I'm waiting for my drink maybe about 30 mins. They are not organized when it comes to who is making this drink etc. I go up to the counter for they are calling #s that were in line after me. Worst experience ever. I've been to Zero Degrees in Cali before but the one in Aurora, CO has the worst customer service ever. I ordered a sea salt green tea and asked if I can have it less sweet. She let me know that everything is premade ( which they claim everything is fresh) and that she cannot change the sweetness. I thought I would give it a try anyways. The drink was suuuuper sweet. I asked if I can exchange my drink for something less sweet and informed me that they have a policy and cannot exchange it. I sat back down waiting for my other drinks which took another 45mins! As I was waiting I was furious that I could not exchange my drink. I even asked to pay the price difference. I went back to the register and asked for a refund. At this point they asked me if I wanted something else. I was so mad at this point I got a refund and left. Wait! I couldn't leave because I had to wait for my other drinks. DO NOT COME HERE. ITS NOT WORTH YOUR TIME OR MONEY. My boyfriend and I were so excited to try this place. The first time we came was during opening weekend. The line was out the door so we left. The second time was on the Fourth of July because a drink special was advertised but they were closed. The third time, the line was still long but decent enough that we were willing to wait, so we did. The line moved incredibly slow. Once we got to the register, the cashier rudely started talking to another employee in the middle of our order. We ordered two drinks and two food items. We waited about 15 minutes for the drinks which came out separately and then we waited for our food. A while had passed before we realized we hadn't seen food orders come out at all for almost an hour. The place was packed and everyone was starting to get antsy which is when the employees noticed that the ticket machine had not sent any food orders to the kitchen in an hour! Once they finally started making everyone's food, they made it completely out of order. Meaning people that had only been waiting for 20 minutes got their food before we did even though we (and others) had been waiting for an hour+. During this time, I watched a woman that had ordered several drinks get each one separately in 15 minute intervals which is absurd. Make all of the orders together!! This place is TERRIBLY DISORGANIZED. And the food wasn't even good!! I got cheese fries.. How do you mess up cheese fries?! I left EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED. They should've given us a refund or at least some kind of compensation for their mess but we hardly got an apology. This establishment doesn't deserve anyone's business. read more
