I had recently gotten a discount code through an event I had attended and thought that I would give Breen Juice a whirl. (Yes, I'm from California so these silly green drinks that look like a lawn threw up in a bottle are something I am very familiar with.) so I ordered two five day cleanses, one for me and one for my baby daddy because we do both need to get our systems back on track. Too much boozing and junk food on our trip to San Antonio.... and ok I'll be honest in daily doses too. I can make juice on my own and have many times. But collecting all the materials, then juicing, then the clean up is a pain in my arse so this was totally worth the money because I knew I'd be cranky enough not eating. They offer free delivery to your home which is a bonus. In LA, we had the option of free delivery, but the place was not all organic juice and this is. After a small snafu of my order getting lost (some lucked out and ended up with my order) my cleanse was delivered, with a few samples of other flavours as well to apologize for the mix up. Great customer service. Bottles can be left out on the porch if you are a good human and want to upcycle. I ran mine through the dishwasher and then put them out and emailed Kelly to have someone pick them up. The juice was great. I personally like more greens, less apple, but my husband loved the ratio. We got half of our order on one day (since she rushed us whatever she had at the moment because of the delay/mixup) but as she checked in on me, and asked me how I liked them I happened to mention that it was a little sweeter than I'm used to, she switched some of the normal greens out to her less apple green juice and it was just the way I make it. Kelly let me know that they can customize flavours based on your palette and that is great! Totally nice personal touch! So I highly suggest this company if, like me, you don't want to deal with the hassle of making your own juice. Because hey, life is way too short to stand around waiting for lawns to vomit.

The chicken was hard to find being very small squares of generic looking and generic tasting commercial food service meat cubes, not hand-pulled or sliced off of a freshly cooked chicken which I expected, and the carrots were the same that you'd find pre-shredded in a plastic bag at a chain grocery store. The dressing was advertised as "peanut free" and I had thought it was worth a try but really it was only a mildly spicy soy sauce with very little Thai about it. We decided to eat there for our first meal after landing from the airport. We arrived to Denver Biscuit Co on a Thursday late afternoon recently. The restaurant is located inside the nice food hall, Stanley Marketplace in Aurora, CO. Parking is accessible all around the marketplace. The restaurant has fun vibrant modern decor. Plenty of booths and tables are available for dining in. A lively full bar with bar stools looks welcoming. There is a family friendly diner vibe going on which was great. Since it was about 4:00pm when we were seated unfortunately they were not serving anymore breakfast food which includes the Franklin Biscuit Sandwich. It ended up being a blessing in disguise though because it happened to be happy hour. We ended up ordering 2 Lights Out Burgers, Sully Fries, Kids chicken tenders, Old fashioned cocktail, and a glass of Chardonnay from the happy hour menu. We also ordered a big cinnamon roll to go. Everything was delicious. Our Lights Out Burgers were mouthwatering. The soft bun, huge juicy patty, melted cheese, pickles, onions were such a great concoction of bold flavors. Sully fries smothered with gravy was scrumptious with every messy bite. Our drinks were refreshing and perfect after a flight. The cinnamon roll was soft, moist, and delectable. Overall we enjoyed our experience at Denver Biscuit Co. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The price point was more than fair. I love the location and Stanley Marketplace is such a fantastic food hall with many food/drink options.
