My wife and I were hungry after looking at apartments in the area and this place was perfect! I ordered the drunken noodles and chicken wings with Thai chili spice. Our friend ordered the Ka Pow and Coconut Ice Cream. Both were amazing! And we loved the great and attentive service! They even let us order and dine in when it was close to closing time. It was greatly appreciated! Also the way this restaurant is decorated is well done and it has a beautiful mural on the wall. We will be back again!

Our waitress was very nice and our food came out relatively quickly. They brought us out a complimentary salad and fried spring roll, both were good. The salad was refreshing. We also ordered crab rangoons and pork gyozas. The gyozas were my favorite and my boss really enjoyed the rangoons. We both ordered drunken noodles. I had mine with shrimp and she had hers with beef. They were absolutely delicious! Don't know when we'll be back in Dallas but this place is definitely worth a try!

You place your order on a electronic tablet. We ordered the Sizzling Lau Sausage, Crispy Zaap Wings, Pad Kee Mao and the Mango Sticky Rice. We ordered all of our items to go. When I took our items out of our bags when we got back, I was amazed at the portion size of the Pad Kee Mao because the weight of the container was SUBSTANTIALLLLLL!!!!! All of our items were out of this world fantastic but I have to give a big ole shout out for that MANGO STICKY RICE! This was first time to have it and my husband and I both enjoyed. I appreciated the variety of Thai and Lao items on their menu and would like to come back and try some other things. They had a lot of customers coming in and out with to go orders. You can tell this is very popular for lunch for folks who work in the area. I can understand why. All of the food is so fresh and piping hot. Oh and the chalkboard art is MAGNIFICENT!!!! I love it so much that i took more pictures of that than our food! I did, however, get a pic of the mango sticky rice because I had to try it immediately when we got back. WOWOWOWOWOWWWW! That's all.

Red curry came in a pint size container to go. Lots of sauce with veggies (eggplant, bamboo, basil) with a meat choice (pork/beef but I got more pork slices) and a cup of jasmine rice. I order medium spice but it was leaning towards the spicier side for me. It has coconut so the sauce shows the thickness and was tasty enough to enjoy. Laos papaya salad was different from Thai (and for me). Besides diced papaya, I could see real chili, slice grape tomatoes, bits green bell peppers and 6-7 pieces of roasted peanuts. The sauce was already mixed, so if you don't want it drenched although that's how it's made to order, ask for it on the side. It had a different type of sauce more like crab flavor (Laos) vs. fish sauce (Thai). Staff is friendly and sweet. I was offer some water for the wait. From speed and accuracy to taste and freshness of orders, My Thai and Vegan has never disappointed. The My Thai and Vegan website makes ordering a breeze, the menu is expansive, and check-out process simple (especially if you've ordered from them before). I enjoy playing with their menu and have tried a number of offerings. My favs include their tofu basil fried rice, fresh veggie spring rolls, pad see eew, and vegan sesame "chikn" among others. I will say I tried their vegan rangoons and wasn't a fan, but it was just a matter of personal taste and not at all was My Thai and Vegan to blame. I appreciate and enjoy their custom spice levels as well as the number of add-ons/offerings/options their website offers to really make your meal your own. I have never had to wait for my to-go order to be ready and waiting for me when I arrive and pick-up has always been super speedy and simple. Service, although my interactions have been brief, has always been friendly and pleasant. Whenever work has me in the area you can bet I'll be grabbing lunch at some point from My Thai and Vegan. Looking forward to my next visit and meal.

Most have since closed, and they've recently reopened in a new spot in Irving. The owner messaged me on yelp to try this location, so I finally visited this past Tuesday. Food: The lunch salad was bland, with watered-down dressing that lacked any real flavor. The drunken noodles were similarly disappointing--the sauce tasted diluted and didn't deliver on taste. Service: The woman at the front seemed to be having an off day. She was unwelcoming and avoided eye contact, which made the experience even less enjoyable. Final straw: I was charged twice for my meal. Despite calling the same day to resolve the issue, nothing was done, and I ultimately had to dispute the charge with my credit card company. Overall, I'm extremely disappointed. This used to be a reliable place to eat, but it's clear things have changed for the worse.

The inside was clean and the lighting was okay, though we were sat underneath a broken light that kept flashing. We each ordered a noodle dish and shared the Basil Fried Rice. I got the Drunken Noodles, but to be honest, it wasn't the best I've had. The sauce was very light and didn't taste authentic, even though they claim to be. I think the server may have also mixed up the spice levels of our dishes. One of us received the maximum spice level after ordering none, and another got very little spice despite asking for the maximum. Overall, it wasn't really to my taste. I could see myself bringing someone who doesn't usually eat Thai food here to try it, but I personally wouldn't come back.

Right off the bat I was not a fan of the texture and the crab tasted like it came from a can. The flavors were not great either so we ended up adding our own sauce. It also did not taste spicy at all despite ordering level 4. Pad Thai Pork ($17.45): Got this with spice level 3 and vegan sauce. The pork was overcooked and tasted almost like chicken. The spice level came through on this one but the sauce leaned too sour, which I think was from too much tamarind. Mi Krop Crispy ($12.50): Crispy wontons tossed in a sweet and sour tamarind sauce with some scrambled egg and one jumbo shrimp. The wontons were not crispy at all and the flavor was only slightly better than the pad thai. Still not worth it. Dallas has so many solid Thai options that this one just did not make the cut for us.
