We've interviewed a few home builders, checked out their work and reputation, and eventually decided to go with Gil, Oren, and the whole team of Go Home Builders. Working with the insurance was a pain, luckily Gil had experience working with Allstate insurance before, and he helped us a lot getting the money we needed to rebuild our home. The planning process took a bit longer than what we initially planned for. The county of LA took their sweet time approving our plans. Fortunately, after 2 sets of revisions we were fully approved. The construction wasn't bad at all, they had plenty of guys working on our home at the same time. The only time there was no work, was on inspection days. The finishes was one thing that was extremely important for us. My wife and I are detail oriented and wanted to make sure we're choosing the right company to do the finish work correctly. All I can say is that they exceeded my expectations. Overall the beginning of the process was extremely emotional challenging, but the whole team of Go Home Builders made us feel like we're not alone. My wife and I are very grateful for them. I'd highly recommend.

Go Home Builders did a wonderful job with our primary bathroom remodel. We interviewed multiple…read morecompanies and went with GHB since they seemed the most design-forward and client-friendly of the bunch, and gave us a reasonable quote too. I had a rough vision in mind for fitting a lot into a relatively small space, but wanted to see the options rendered so I could better make the big layout and design decisions. Alexis was very patient and super helpful in mocking up each iteration until we locked in the final design. Once it was time to actually break ground, Gil, Oren, Uriel, and the rest of the team were really responsive and always available by text. Unlike previous contractors we've worked with, they usually gave us an idea of what was happening the next day/week and who to expect onsite. The first ~70% of the project went really smoothly and far exceeded my expectations. Demo, framing, rough plumbing, and electrical all largely went without a hitch. We ran into some problems towards the end around communication, timeline, and subcontractor oversight -- which led to more delays when someone punctured our new in-wall toilet tank and flooded both the bathroom and bedroom. We know every construction job runs into challenges so we weren't bent out of shape by it, and we did appreciate that GHB took full responsibility for fixing the issues. By and large we were really impressed by most of their subcontractors, especially the very professional and considerate plumbing, electrical, and tiling teams! After living with our new bathroom for a while now, we can definitely say it was worth the wait, and such a huge improvement over our previous dysfunctional layout. Thanks to GHB for their great service, amazing attitude, attention to detail, and for bringing the bright, colorful bathroom of my dreams to life!

Our project included major layout changes to removing a whole fireplace/wall, and he took the time to truly understand our vision from the start. He was trustworthy, reliable, and incredibly communicative throughout the entire process. We always knew what was happening, what was coming next, and never felt left in the dark. For a our house renovation, that level of communication made a huge difference for me. Managing a full home remodel can be overwhelming, but Jay handled everything smoothly and professionally. He was responsive, detail-oriented, and proactive with solutions when questions or challenges came up. The quality of work speaks for itself, and we're beyond happy with the final result. From start to finish, Sam was professional, efficient, and incredibly communicative. He kept me updated throughout the project, answered my many questions, and was always willing to take the time to discuss options with me. As someone who wanted to be intentional about every decision, I really appreciated that he helped me think through materials, finishes, and products to make sure they were the right fit for my home. I am absolutely in love with how everything turned out... especially my bathrooms, the kitchen backsplash, and the beautifully restored cabinetry. The transformation is amazing. Because this was an insurance claim, there were many moving pieces, and Sam worked seamlessly with my public adjuster and everyone involved in the process. Prior to working with Sam, I consulted with at least 7 other contractors and Sam was able to offer the most reasonable and seemingly honest cost, he had a waitlist, and I was willing to wait - I am glad that I did. I would absolutely recommend Sam to anyone looking for a contractor who is skilled, reliable and honest!

These were small jobs, but he treated them with the same care as a bigger project. No job is too small for him!! The work was done efficiently and cleanly, and his prices were very reasonable, basically what non-licensed contractors would charge. He let me buy all the materials myself and very kindly handled the bigger items like vent pipes for FREE. Sam's quote is just the labor, so you are not charged a markup on your quote for any material cost. There were a few surprises along the way, and he took care of the extra work without charging extra. He also demoed the kitchen tiles nicely and even did some extra paint work and tile grout for free. He makes sure the project will be done well! Sam is honest and practical. He suggested I wait to install a kitchen vent until a future renovation. I still went ahead with it, but it was nice to hear someone not trying to upsell me. I can trust Sam's opinion for the job and not worry that I am being exploited by my lack of home renovation knowledge. Communication was great, the quote was detailed, and he kept my home protected and clean during the work. It's been four months since the job was finished and everything is still perfect. Reliable, honest, and skilled...I'll definitely hire Sam again.

The house was perfect but definitely needed some TLC. Open Hand Remodeling did a great job building our large hardwood deck on the hill. Open Hand also remodeled the interior bathrooms, kitchen and main house hardwood and Porcelain flooring. The craftsmanship and professionalism is 2nd to none. The process was not perfect 100% of the time, but the hiccups were communicated responsibly by the project manager. Overall the project was completed ahead of schedule. Most recently, we had a plumber quote us an astronomical $18,000 to run a new gas line for our pool heater. Their "solution" involved cutting into our brand-new concrete and completely ripping up our new backyard pavers, which made absolutely no sense to us. So, we called Eddie for a second opinion, and he immediately came up with a brilliant, alternative solution. By rerouting the gas line in a different direction, he found a way to do the job with minimal concrete cutting and saved our new pavers. Long story short, Eddie resolved the entire issue beautifully for a tiny fraction of the original $18k quote. He treats every issue as if it were happening at his own house, and that level of honesty, care, and ingenuity is incredibly rare in this industry. We started with the guest bathroom first, and after seeing the quality of the work, we immediately asked him to move forward with the master bathroom too. I would highly recommend Leo and his team. However, since I did not have many options here I had to just pray and trust that Leo would not be a scammer like the rest. I took the risk and trusted in Leo to help me solve the problem that my restroom was dealing with and I can say that Leo really went above and beyond in every step of the way. Leo was able to diagnose the problem which turned out to be that the previous contractors never did hot mop in my shower which was causing for the water to come out from the bottom. Leos communication throughout the process was excellent, detailed, and he addressed every concern I had with a great attitude, and ensured everything was resolved to my satisfaction. It is clear that Leo takes great pride in his work. Leo is reliable, knowledgeable, and trustworthy, and I am so happy to have found a contractor I can depend on. I am excited to work with you again and will be scheduling my next project with you soon.

Outstanding Experience from Start to Finish!…read more I cannot say enough good things about Willbii! From the very beginning to the completion of my detached ADU, I was extremely impressed with their professionalism, communication, quality of work, and genuine dedication to their customers. My experience started with Steven, who introduced me to Willbii and took the time to show me homes they had built. I was immediately impressed by the quality, craftsmanship, and attention to detail I saw in their projects. After seeing their work firsthand, I felt confident enough to choose Willbii to design and build my detached ADU from start to finish--and I am so glad I did! I was later introduced to Kenny, their production manager, who was absolutely wonderful to work with. From the beginning, he clearly communicated each stage of the construction process and kept me informed along the way. He was extremely flexible, patient, and understanding when working with me, and he always treated me with respect. The crews were also fantastic. They were professional, efficient, and worked very quickly without compromising the quality of the work. Kenny was diligent about making sure permits and city requirements were properly handled, while also keeping the project moving forward. Most importantly, my ADU was completed on time according to the agreed-upon deadline. Willbii also helped me with selecting quality interior finishes and design elements, and the final product turned out beautifully. I was honestly very impressed when I saw the completed home. The price was also very affordable considering the excellent quality of the products and materials used. I truly felt that I received outstanding value for my investment. Once the ADU received its final approval from the city, I put it on the rental market, and I immediately started receiving compliments about how beautiful it was. I was able to rent it right away! That really confirmed to me that choosing Willbii was the right decision. Building a home can be stressful, but Willbii made the entire experience much easier and more enjoyable than I expected. Their communication, workmanship, responsiveness, and commitment to quality truly stood out. When I have another opportunity to build, Willbii will absolutely be my first choice. I would also have no hesitation recommending them to my family, friends, and anyone looking for a company they can trust to deliver a quality project. Thank you, Steven, Kenny, and the entire Willbii team, for helping turn my vision into a beautiful home!
