I LOVE THIS PLACE!! I don't really get my eyebrows done a lot but when I do I like to get them threaded. I've gotten my eyebrows threaded about three times now. One was free at this other place right across from Zena Threading. It was free since it was their grand opening. I went for the second time a few months later and I hated their service. So anyways, I was on my way home from work (West LA) and I wanted to get my eye brows clean up a bit. I Yelp a place near home (Bell/Maywood area) and found this one. It had good reviews so I went to check it out!. The wait wasn't long. It took me maybe two minutes while one of the ladies finished with a customer's eyebrows. The lady who helped me, I don't remember her name, she was older looking. (there's two of them) did such a great job with my eyebrows. OMG I can't stop bragging about this place. She made sure they were nice and clean. After she finished threading them she got a little brush and brush them and trimmed to make sure my eyebrows look nice and even. I was very satisfied. And for only $5!! What a deal! You should check out this place! You won't regret it. read more

Sangita did my eyebrow threading and I'm happy with the results and her service. She didn't thin them out too much like other places I've been to would do without even consulting with me about the style I want first. I say, better to keep them a little thick until the person tells you to thin them down! Not thin them out too much and you can't do anything about it until next time, lol. Anyway, she gives you a hand mirror as soon as she is done so that you can closely evaluate them for yourself. She also thoroughly (like almost massage-like) applies aloe vera(?) lotion/ointment, I'm not sure what it is, on your freshly threaded brows and that felt really nice. Oh, and the price is very reasonable! This place is just down the street from my job, super convenient, I will definitely be back. Today was my first time ever having my eyebrows threaded. I went to the nail shop for a pedicure as I always do and I normally get my brows waxed but I met a girl inside and she recommended having them threaded and I said Yea I'll give it a try. So I went it was a nice relaxing experience and the lady who threaded my brows was very nice. I recommend threading over waxing any day especially here at Zena's threading. Is quick and services are cheap (only $5 for eyebrows & $3 for upper lip). Place is usually empty, only had to wait long on one occasion, a Saturday morning. They have a 'frequent threader' program where ten threads gets you one on the house. REVIEW FOR THREE STARS: The service of this place has declined with the newer hires. They make the experience more painful. Wait has become quite a bit longer, but glad the place is getting business. Prices have gone up; eyebrows are now at $6. read more

This is close to home! Im a bit hesitant of my review, the owner Rupal was nice but she was nice only after i started conversation. As you walk in, no one greets you nor acknowledges you for that matter, but since i saw the clip, i signed in with services i went for. Once it was my turn she said, excuse me, and i knew she was talking to me for i was next. Anyways it seems like an anti social environment, not sure if its a cultural thing, or maybe Rupal is shy, she seems shy, and as the owner shes giving an example to her staff. Also she had me wait a bit because she was training or guiding another woman, didn't bother me much, i had time plus she informed me before she left my sight every time. Down to work, i gave it a 4 only because she did do s good job, i asked if she could shape my eyebrows as well, i don't think she shaped them much other than kept my shape but sometimes there isn't enough growth for shape, i understand that. She did thread my eyebrows and upper lip very good, so for that its a 4. I will try another place soon just because i didn't get the wow effect here, but may keep coming until i find the wow factor elsewhere, maybe the second time would be better. read more
