Local threading place in Downey right by Porto's. Was so happy I found this hidden gem. Lady who did my eyebrows was really nice and told me if I sign up, the 10th session is free. Easy sign in at the front desk makes everything much more convenient than getting those punch cards that I always end up losing.

I came in to get my eyebrows done but left very unhappy. The ladies were very nice but I just didn't like the results. First the lady was threading way to slow that it was painful and the thread kept breaking, it broke about 4 times. Also I noticed how my left eyebrow around the arch looks basically bald and she should've just threaded it.

I just moved to the area and found Bidhya's for eyebrow threading, and I'm so glad I did! My threading was done by Iman, who was so welcoming and incredibly detailed with my brows, she made sure they were perfectly shaped. The price was very reasonable too, especially for how great the service was. I'll definitely be coming back! read more

Don't get me wrong they do a good job.......but why the absolute fuck and excuse me but i'm so irritated.....why does it take 40 fkn minutes to do one persons eyebrows lip & chin ? i'm so serious ‍this is insane and it's annoying because they're ALWAYS short staffed only 1 girl is always working here and they're always packed so it takes like an hour to get seen. I've been waiting sense 2:40pm......it's 3:38pm as im writing this. Get more people working here! PLEASE ! i like their work but they're time management sucks im sorry but its infuriating seeing her go over the same spot on the girls face over 10 times. read more

Bidhya is the best threading artist. She used to work for Ziba's then opened her own place in Downey. She's very attentive and accommodating. I no longer have to go all the way to Artesia since she's right around the corner from where I live. Highly recommend her. read more

New to working in the area of Downey and needed to get my eyebrows done. I went during my lunch at 12pm and it wasn't busy at all. I'm always so afraid to try new eyebrow places because I usually get cut with the thread. The woman who did my eyebrows was so gentle and precise. I got my eyebrows, lip and chin done. I'm really happy with how my eyebrows came out. 26$ in total. Will be back! read more

So after 10+ years of waxing I finally gave it up and and decided to start threading my eyebrows. Thankfully BIDHYA made my experience very pleasant! She even gave me tips on how to shade in the spots I needed to grow out. After the threading she gave me a gentle massage around my eyebrows and shaded them in and I was done! She was also gentle when threading which was great, given I have sensitive skin. Thanks again BIDHYA, I'll see you in two weeks! I have been coming here for about 2 years now and I don't plan on stopping. Everyone here is so friendly and make an effort to remember you by name and show interest in you every time you come here. Geeta always does an incredible job with my eyebrows. She never disappoints! I've been here post COVID as well and it's always clean and sanitary. All employees wear masks the whole time and masks are required from customers as well. They have been following all guidelines to ensure the place is a safe as possible for their customers. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a safe, rule abiding business to get their services done. read more

I come here from Salt Lake City. Bidhya's technique doesn't hurt. I just walk in and am seen right away (MINIMAL wait). She is quick, courteous and nice. On my last visit, I asked to have my eyebrows tinted. I'm a redhead so nothing ever looks right. She used henna. I have red, defined eyebrows. Its wonderful. I will keep coming back. read more

Been a customer for about 6 years and will never trade her for anyone else. If you want perfect eyebrows she is the person to go. As you girls know is always hard to find someone to do a perfect job well guess what you don't need to look anywhere else she is beyond perfect. Customers are expected to respect the policy, and in return, the business should demonstrate the same consideration and reliability. Not be compensated with a $5 discount. When if I had canceled the appointment would have been charged $30. Experiencing this issue more than once concerns me about their consistency and professionalism. I hope improvements are made to better manage scheduling or compensation.

You will love coming here. I have gotten my WHOLE face threaded with Bidhya for over 6 years. And through those six years only let a handful of other threaders from various establishments touch my face and was greatly disappointed. She is very professional and at the same time caring and genuinely loving. She asks you how you want her to thread and lets you know what she is doing. She remembers you, and as for me i don't even have to tell her anymore, she knows exactly what to do. She truly appreciates your business and friendship. She knows my family when they have accompanied me and remembers them all. She even remembers the first time i went with her and who i went with!!!! She cares about how you feel and look and makes you feel comfortable. That is why i have personally followed where she goes. I won't let anybody but her touch my face and it doesn't hurt me at all. I was recommended to Yvonne by a close friend of mine and I could not be happier to have found her! I have had my hair done by Yvonne a total of 3 times and every time I am even happier than the last. Make sure to call in and schedule an appointment as she is almost always booked in advanced, that's how good her work is! Yvonne is great at cutting hair and works with my hair to make sure I get the best outcome. Every time i visit Yvonne not only does my hair look amazing but it looks and feel healthier than when I came in. I would highly recommend Yvonne to anyone looking for a hairdresser that knows what she is doing and will help you achieve the look you want! I have been coming here with my wife since we were dating and although i don't get any services done, i appreciate Bidhyas' work. She makes my wife feel more confident and her eyebrows look great. My wife feels so comfortable she sometimes tells me she falls asleep for a bit. And that's remarkable because she has gone somewhere else and ends up teary eyed and all red in the face from the pain of other threaders. That's why i only bring her to Bidhya.(And because she won't go anywhere else). :) She's always happy with her work and never complains of pain. Bidhya is an amazing artist. My mother and I have been a client of her's for about 5 yrs now and there is no one else that can thread are eyebrows like she does. This is why we only go to her. She does such an amazing job. We love her not only for her amazing work but for the person she is. She is always kind, gentle, and caring. I've been getting my brows done by Bidhya since 2008. She is seriously the only person I trust with my brows. When I was younger I would breakout when I got my brows done, but ever since I've been coming with her, my breakouts have disappeared. She usually has at least 3-4 waiting to get their brows done so there is usually quite a wait, but even so I'd rather wait an hour than go to someone else. Her salon is always nice and fresh. She also provides henna tattoos and is super detailed with the quality of the design. I love coming here! read more

I've been Bidhya's customer customer since her start at Ziba. I always grow out my brows due to lack of time (sorry Bidhya, I know it's more work for you) and she is always able to shape them for me with the least amount of pain possible. I really dislike slow threading service (it's painful), Bidhya does them pretty fast, so it doesn't hurt....She is definitely worth the wait. Also, she is the sweetest person. As for a first timer, if you're looking for a hairstylist, Yvonne is the best. She is very kind and most importantly honest with her work. She won't waste your time and money. Followed my hair stylist Damaris here from LA and she is great! Got a haircut to get rid of my split ends and she was able to maintain my length, which is huge! Other stylists would just cut off inches when asked for a trim. Will definitely continue to make the trip out here again. read more
