I went in for eyebrow and lip threading. The lady worker was nice but her quality of work was not good. She worked so fast and when I went to look at my eyebrow and lip THERE WAS STILL HAIR! I kindly told her that I still had hair and she went back to work on them. I looked again and there was still hair so she went back to work. At this point I was irritated that I even had to point out there were hairs when you could clearly see them. I walked into my car to see them and long and behold MORE HAIR WAS LEFT. Came here excited to do my eyebrows and left really disappointed. The lady, she was an older women ( i don't know her name ) but she did my eye brows. She did them really quick and rough. Finished in less than 5 minutes tops. She didn't care about my eyebrows. She just did them how ever. Then to finally add the cherry on top she got mad because I didn't tip her. Rani takes care of her clients! She will give you her personal number, so that you can make appointments directly with her in lieu of having to call the salon. She gave me a great deal for my waxing! I've never had such a cheap wax before and I've been to several places in Los Angeles and northern California. My eyebrow threading used to cost $5, but I think they raised the prices to $6 now. Regardless, it's still way less than I was paying before. Rani has another store in Montebello and Huntington Park. I believe there's another location, but I can't seem to remember where it is. Rani is definitely the best person for a bikini wax; you just have to call her in advance to make an appointment as she floats between her 3-4 stores every week. read more

I've been going to this salon for 8 years now. It was my go to place and honestly I loved it so much. The past few times I've gone they have been messing up my sisters eyebrows and mine. I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt because they were my favorite but they keep messing up and I'm so disappointed. Today I went and one eyebrow came out thinner than the other. We love coming here! We can always rely on the staff on doing a great job! We have been coming here for years! My friends also come from out of town just to get threaded. Its a place I can always trust and you are treated like family. I enjoy going to Sunita, i can always trust her doing an amazing job! I also recently got some natural lash extensions and loved them as well. They looked natural and They did not look fake. They do various lengths so If you do want that barbie look they can do that as well lol. Overall always a great experience! Love everyone there!! Also, it os obvious that they work with what you have! They will shape your brow and make it look clean! Honestly , This is by far the worst eyebrow threading place I have been too. But I was in a rush and decided to go here during my lunch because the google reviews were good . However , service is bad . The work is bad. I was in and out in 5 minutes asked for them to clean my eyebrows and do my upper lip.. welllll, I still had to use tweezers later. Also, I am sure they stole from me. They charged me $13 and I have them a $20 and only got $2 back . But I was in a hurry that I didn't even process it and I even tipped them $5 bc I always tip and I didn't get a chance to see the my eyebrows and upper lip carefully until later . First time at this place i got a full face wax, first red flag was how got the wax was and when i told her it burned she said yes it's hot wax.The lady put the wax all over my lips to get it off my lips she put the strip on it and ripped it off my lip was bleeding and i had wax all over my hair she continued to wax my hair multiple times until i told her to stop. When she was done i payed and as i was paying i said thank you to be polite and she rolled her eyes at me said nothing to me and i left. I left the place with wax all over my hair and lips. As I visited today and it was such a hot mess day, temperature was about 105 F and I requested employee to turn on Ac and I guess it was a owner who said AC is not working. I recently moved and was in search of a new eyebrow threading location. Looked it up on Yelp and didn't seem so bad. I'm sorry, this location is terrible. The customer service is not friendly at all. There were two women on their phones sitting down and no customers when I walked in. Took them some time to get off their phone and provide service. The actually experience was horrid. The reason for this 1 star review even though I have never been a customer is for this reason I am about to explain... I went in one day with a friend to get our eyebrows done, there were two ladies there, I am very picky about my brows so I told my friend I'd decide if I wanted them done after I saw how hers came out. She said she wanted to get them done, I said I just came with her (to not be rude and say "I'm waiting to see if you guys are good") I grabbed a magazine and sat down to wait for my friend. Immediately I got all kinds of attitude from both of them lets just say if looks could kill... I smiled just in case I was over reacting but no the starring and rolling eyes and whispering kept going. Naturally I got mad, and I refuse to be a consumer to rude people or bad service. For that reason I give this place a 1 star review. They had absolutely no reason to treat me and "welcome" me with such a bad attitude when I walked in with a smile. I been coming here for the last 9 years and I don't have any complain about it. I usually get my eyebrows, mustache and for-head done by Namita but Sunita is just as great as Namita. They always make sure my eyebrows are clean and thick; that's just how I like them. They both are very friendly people, always looking for a conversation. When I get to the salon, I feel very welcome since they know my name. I hope they never close this location because I don't trust anyone else with my eyebrows. There solan is super good but they sometimes mess up like how they did to day with me and it's not because of there skills but because they talk to much. Like for example when there doing your eyebrows you'll notice that they don't even focus because there talking to each other's. It's rare for them to mess up that bad but still they should focus on what there doing so they don't make the customers mad. read more

I really wish I could give zero stars!! I've only came here once before with my mom and saw they did an okay job so I decided to try them out today. Worst decision I've ever made! The lady in section 2 made my eyebrows SO uneven and made one WAY thinner than the other. Looking back, I think she noticed she had Messed them up because she only let me look in the mirror for half a second and rushed me to the register. I still didn't quite notice it at first because I got a hair in my contacts & they were irritated, But once I got home and looked I was stunned. She totally messed up my brows and now I don't know what I'm gonna go to fix them! No one should have to go through this. Especially when eyebrows are so important! My mom, sister, and I wanted to give this place a try since we had been told by many people that it was really good. Our experience here was not good. When we got there there was only one lady there and she was eating lunch, which wasn't a problem to us we didn't mind waiting. There was one other person in front of so we waited about 15 mins while she finished her lunch and helped the other person out. My sister went first and she has (had) really nice think eyebrows, we made sure to tell Namita that it was just a clean up, we did not want thin eyebrows. She just said okay and started on my sister. Half way through the threading I see her smack my sister hand and forcefully position it to how she wanted it. We were kinda shocked like did this really just happen ? Anyways she did that to my mom as well. When it was my turn I made sure to tell her I just wanted a clean up, she kinda had an attitude and just said okay. Again when she stated she kept bumping my hair and almost smacking me in the face .Overall it was a horrible experience, her attitude, sucked. She left us all with horrible thin eyebrows. Sunita is the BEST with eyebrows! She makes sure to keep them as full as possible, so if you have thick-ish eyebrows and fear them looking thin after getting them done, go to her! Both my mom and I adore her, and we're not alone, because usually girls will wait for her specifically. So yeah, she has tricks and will make your eyebrows look great.
