I've been here a few times and it's been fine but today there was a lady who I hadn't seen before who did my eyebrows and she just made the experience very unpleasant. I hate to bring up personal and dental hygiene but given the service that is provided I think it should be brought to light. Anyway, just be short the lady had really bad dental care and she did my eyebrows by placing the thread in her mouth. As she did my eyebrows there was a strong stench as she got incredibly close to me that made me very uncomfortable. The thread that passed through her mouth got on my clothes and the smell followed. Typically I have seen the other ladies put the thread over their neck to avoid the mouth but she didn't. In addition, she didn't even do my eyebrows right. She did it rushed and my eyebrows are now uneven even after I asked her to fix them. I think I'll be going elsewhere moving forward. read more

I started coming here because a friend suggested it. Coming here is nice because even though it's in a shopping center, I never have to worry about not finding parking. Depending on the day the wait times vary, but the establishment is clean and has magazines. Cons: - Their business cards say they charge 4.99 but they actually charge 6.00, which is still a good price but it's still a bit annoying if you think the price is one thing but it is actually another. - The last couple of times that I have gotten my eyebrows done I have requested one person but another person has me sit in her chair. I think it is because she is new, the other girls want her to also get some business which is understandable, and although she does a good job it can be a bit painful and she has cut me in the brow bone area twice. That's been a bit frustrating but I would still suggest this place to friends. read more

Walked in and did not have to wait. Came in for eyebrow threading. Very clean. Cute inside. A good amount of seats if you have to wait your turn. I think I saw some magazines to read while you wait. My eyebrows are "difficult" very uneven naturally. She took her time. Tried her best to even them out. Showed me one side before she started the other. When she was done she put some cooling gel or something. I think I paid $6. Great price! Came here today for the first time and I was happy with the result. They took their time doing my eyebrows so it wouldn't irritate my skin. Since I have sensitive skin threading irritates it and sometimes cut it. I felt minimal pain and they gave t a nice shape. Overall, I plan on going back. read more

Rude. My first time here and did not appreciate their service. Not friendly and they did not want to take my money unless it was quarters or bills. I had a couple of dimes and it was a deal breaker. I'm loving this new threading place. Tulasa ( I hope I'm spelling her name right) was very nice. She took her time and did a great job. Took a little longer while doing my eyebrows than other places, but it was definitely worth it. The lady even gave me a little facial massage right after it. If I can give 0 stars I would. Worst place to get your eyebrows threaded!!! I do not recommend at all!! Save your time and money and go somewhere else! A few minutes ago I came to get my eyebrows threaded the lady of the 3rd chair ruined my eyebrows. I ask her for a clean up only and she left my eyebrow so thin (pretty much a line thin) my right eyebrow much higher than my left eyebrows and longer. I told her they were not even and too thin I only ask for a clean up she said "no they're perfect they same" I told her her it wasn't even at all, not even close then she got mad and said that's how my eyebrows were then I told her no my eyebrows were thick and she said ok I'll fix I told her not to fix anything. I didn't want her to messed them up more than they already were thanks to her and only payed her half of the price. I am so upset definitely not going back ever again!! read more

I had just gotten my hair done at a nearby hair studio and since they didn't have the chance to wax my eyebrows I looked for a threading place close by. Nora's Threading popped up on my Yelp and let me tell you it was heaven sent. The place itself has such a luxurious and clean feeling that right away makes you feel welcome. The prices are affordable. (They take credit/debit too!) Now as for the service. I've never had someone take such time and care when it comes to my eyebrows. She took time to make sure the shape was perfect and that there wasn't any unwanted hair left behind. After the threading she massaged my eyebrows with what I believe was aloe for a good two minutes. I just recently went last week, i am always scared to go to a new place. I actually really liked it, and for once i didn't get pimples on my forehead after the threading. The last place i went to, here in South Gate, i got pimples all over my forehead. The lady took her time which i liked, after when she was done she cleaned it with alcohol im guessing, and then gave me a massage with aloe vera, and im guessing that helped with me not getting pimples. 5$.
