I've been debating whether or not I should write this updated review but I think it's only fair. I was really loyal to this salon for over a decade. I'd go to Jackie and KK the most but back then Anju did a good job. After a while, I'd go to KK exclusively because she knew EXACTLY how I liked my brows and was always consistent. I'd go with my grandma, who would usually go to KK or Anju or Jackie. Well, she had to stop going to Anju because Anju would leave her eyelids cut up more often than not. I had already stopped going with Anju because she messed up on me a few times and didn't really listen when I'd tell her what I wanted. I knew her personally for so many years, so I just let it slide and would go to KK. I also understood why my grandma would stop going (she also had fewer hairs to remove with age). I moved to San Francisco, so I would only come here when I was in town visiting family. I'd make the effort to come in once a month to maintain my shape. But then I started to notice that KK was there less frequently. All of a sudden, she's gone. Why is this suspicious? Well KK is a sweetheart and for a while, she basically helped Anju run the place. She handled the phone, payments, services, and cleanup. Some days there was even a line because everyone was waiting for KK, so Anju and another woman (not Jackie) had no work. They often seemed annoyed about it. After seeing reviews about Anju in the recent years, this makes sense. It just feels weird to see reviews about customers being told KK was fired. I, too, was told she went back to school or went on vacation. This can only hold up so long, I guess. So, then they started to tell people she was fired. When I was first told she went back to school I was confused. I talked to KK for years and knew she was in school, so I figured she decided to go back full time. Then I saw reviews saying she went on vacation. So, I called back out of curiosity and was told the "she's on vacation" line. Weird. I miss KK and still haven't found someone as gentle, precise, and kind as her. She was always so sweet and even during the pandemic she's cover up and make sure to keep her hands clean. Anju has always been so kind to me and my grandma, but I've seen her and the business change over the last few years. She seems far less into it now and I'm so sad to see it reflected in her and this once great salon. read more

I usually go to eyebrow ladies who map show me how my brows will come out before threading and I completely regret coming here. I let me eyebrows grow fully I specifically asked for only clean up and THICK well I received the worst brows of my life I'm so embarrassed. My eyebrows had nothing wrong with them I just needed a clean up. I've been coming here to thread my eyebrows since 2017 and I've always gone to Kiki because I liked they way she cleaned them up. However, it's been almost a year since I last saw her and at first the other ladies said she was on "vacation" then it was that she "went back to school" and now I'm seeing that they said she was "fired." So, I'm not sure what happened and I decided to give the other ladies a chance. I went back like 3 times but they just kept leaving it awful and they cut them sometimes and then they'd blame me for over plucking when it was them from the previous visit. The older one is also very rude. Any other places nearby that work? My eyebrows are so uneven now, they need saving from whatever happened here. read more

Allow me to set the scene: I hadn't done my eyebrows (tweezed, by myself) in over a month. I hadn't gotten my eyebrows done at a threading salon in four years!!! (I moved from where I was & never trusted anywhere to take care of me like my previous brow tech did.) My brows were out of control and in need of some love & I finally decided to try this place based on the good reviews. I AM SO GLAD I CAME HERE!! I love how the young woman here did my eyebrows. I literally felt like "whoa - are these mine?!" when she was done. I was so nervous I unfortunately did not get her name, but I know she's the technician that only goes in on Fridays and Saturdays I believe. She was so kind the entire time - constantly checking in to see if I was doing okay, she gave my brows a massage once she was done with aloe Vera gel that was so good it almost put me to sleep, and of course she did an amazing job. I used to love this place, as previous reviewer mentioned the younger gals are great. However, I've made the mistake of having the owner do my brows twice (strike out on the second chance). I was literally in tears sobbing over how horrendous my eyebrows were. They weren't even centered to my nose. Well... Let me start off by saying I put the address on my Apple map. It took me else where, so I decided to call. They answered quickly! Then they explained to me that I'm behind the store complex. Right away after I found the store. I walked in and was greeted. Thank you! I love being welcomed! Jacky, who did my eyebrows, did an amazing job. Before she started, she analyzed my eyebrows and asked me if I wax my eyebrows? I told her I usually always get them threaded. But the last time I did them, I waxed them. I typically get my eyebrows done by the younger girls and they do an awesome job. If you like to keep your eyebrows looking more fuller and natural I suggest going to one of them! However, don't go with the owner. She's a sweet lady but she left my eyebrows really thin and uneven. One of my eyebrows ended up a lot shorter than the other. I had to grow out my eyebrows for 2 months just so that I can have them reshaped by another threader. read more

Came here for the first time yesterday after work around 4:45pm and there was 2 ladies working, the owner Anju and Jackie. I came with a friend and we didn't have to wait. Service 5/5 - I got my eyebrows threaded by Jackie and she was really informative. She asked me how I wanted my brows and how they should be shaped. She did a good job and I would definitely come back. Price 5/5 - Eyebrow threading was $6 and they also accept credit cards here. They also have a stamp card for frequent visitors. Location 5/5 - The inside was clean and spacious and the parking lot had many spaces to park in. Definitely would come back here! read more

WOW. ALL THE WORDS I HAVE RIGHT NOW. I've been here quite a few times and really had a great experience, until TODAY. I usually go to the two girls that work here.. except today, the OWNER did my brows.... and that was a mistake. I went in to get my routine clean up, .. left crying and my right eyebrow is SO UNEVEN and thin. I worked so hard to grow them and get them thick.. I thought I was pretty clear on what I expected.. Very friendly staff & clean. I haven't had a chance to use any other services but the henna. When you go in the woman who does your henna will ask you what design you'd like. They don't have samples, so she asks you to find one you like online, which I think is pretty cool. It was pretty slow but it came out good. read more
