She drenched my scalp in a $7 Adore hot pink dye that she charged $80 for alone, left bleach banding, patchy streaks, chemical stains on my FACE, then told me it looked "fine." She charged a total of $400 and fought my refund dispute. Her communication was hostile, dismissive, and deeply unprofessional. I spent over $500 trying to fix it, but even top colorists said the dye had permanently stained my hair and they wouldn't bleach over it because of how badly she lifted it in the first place. If you value your hair or your money, DO NOT let Shadia near it.

Did not make an appt--just walked in and was seated asap. Got my brows and upper lip threaded then my underarms waxed. Quick yet very thorough. The salon is clean and spartan. No frills. No employees or contracted staff that I could see. Appreciated the owner is able to thread but not with her mouth. She is also masked. Also when I was getting waxed I was ushered into a room with a table to lie down on that was covered with disposable paper. Got my biz done and was out the door with even eyebrows that were not thin and no 'stache Now that I know the biz is still around, I'll be back! Support this small local biz, please.

They do waxing (all the kinds) but I am not into that (it hurts!). I have been going here for years for threading and credit them for keeping me looking as close to a Bollywood star as a a Japanese American woman will ever get. Put it this way, my very discerning stepmother thought they made me look more youthful and beautiful. That's it, I'm not going anywhere else!! Parking is easy and the wait isn't long. You will love the results!

I have never experienced something this unprofessional during a service, especially one as intimate…read moreas a Brazilian wax. This was my first Brazilian, and instead of creating a calm, supportive environment, Meena became visibly agitated and began loudly ranting about political issues related to her home country, then she began yelling. Her tone escalated to the point where it felt aggressive. I was lying exposed on the table during this. I expressed that I was uncomfortable, and I had to be the one to regulate her emotions, while she stopped speaking so loudly and intensely, the energy in the room shifted in a way that felt tense and hostile for the remainder of the appointment. A Brazilian wax requires a high level of trust. Clients are physically vulnerable and often anxious, especially the first time. Emotional regulation and professionalism are not optional in that setting. At the end of the service, while I was still in a vulnerable state, she took out her phone and began showing me graphic videos, including footage of people being killed. Being shown violent content during a waxing appointment is completely inappropriate and deeply distressing. I did not consent to being exposed to graphic material, and it was extremely uncomfortable. I was also given zero aftercare instructions despite clearly stating this was my first Brazilian. No guidance about heat exposure, friction, exfoliation timing, or what to expect post-wax. Within 24 hours, I developed significant redness across the area. Without aftercare direction, I was left anxious about whether this reaction was normal. This experience felt emotionally unsafe and lacked basic professional boundaries. A service that intimate should feel calm, respectful, and supportive -- not tense, aggressive, and unpredictable. I hope this feedback is taken seriously, because clients deserve safety and professionalism in spaces like this
