Have visited Asha a few times for a facial and had to recommend her. I originally came across her when a friend recommended trying her out. Being new to the area, I had been looking for a regular facial destination. Asha is very patient and takes her time with her facial. I recently moved to the Solano/North Berkeley area and was looking for a regular practitioner to visit locally. I found Asha through Google/Yelp and, based on all the glowing reviews - booked same day. I'm happy to say my experience exceeded my expectations and compelled me to leave a review as well. Asha's salon is upstairs inside the Ixia Hair Salon (I had to call her to figure that out, lol) and is a quaint, simple space. Now, I have been going to get waxed at numerous salons for years, and sometimes they get you in and out in less than 5 minutes without caring to prep, tweeze, or double-check their work. Asha was the complete opposite and provided me with the most thorough and detailed service I've ever received. Second time here...and I am so upset. During my first visit Asha did exactly what I asked for... she left my eyebrows thick and long and only cleaned up around. They were perfect. Today she completely ignored my request to keep them thick and long and made them thin and took way too much hair all over.
