I usually come here for pedicures and they do well, but today I came for SNS with tips, something my usual nail salon doesn't have. They did it all wrong... the tips are too narrow for my natural nails, and I even had to correct the technician on a couple nails saying so. She buffed them too much and cut my skin in a few places, and burnt me several times and didn't show remorse or go softer when I asked her to. After 3 coats of powder, she accidentally scraped some of the layers off creating a dragged look. I brought it to her attention and asked her to fix it and she said "no it's fine" and continued on her merry way.. then after buffing the top coats for smoothing she scraped off MORE color and had to redo a layer of it for one nail. This happened on 2 nails but she only fixed one. They also used the wrong top coat. She applied one that needed UV curing (defeats the point of SNS) and now that I'm in the car, the corner is already smudged because of it. Really don't know why I paid $50 for luxury nails and it looks like I paid $15 in someone's basement... good pedicures though.. read more

I have been coming to this salon for many years and have seen many changes. I won't be returning again. The nail techs use the same tools over and over again without any sanitizing. Not to mention one was on his phone constantly while doing a pedicure. Cell phones carry many germs. I was taken aback with the quality of the pedicure and paid an exorbitant amount. I had a favorite salon in Fairfax city so when I moved down to Manassas I was a little disappointed and I missed my regular salon. I came here for nothing too fancy. Just a traditional pedicure and gel manicure. I'm blown away by how kind everyone there is. Once they seat you they ask you if you'd like a water or soda. They also do heated towels with the pedicures and manicures which I appreciated. The back room is so pretty and relaxing and while you're there they pamper you and take their time. I've been to so many places where they rush through everything and it looks like I did it at home. You can tell during every step the ladies there take their time. Pricewise I don't believe they're any different from most nail salons. For the service I'm willing to pay whatever they want. I strayed from my regular place for a long overdue manicure, and I regret it. This place is beautifully decorated and very nice, but I'm actually on my way to have my freshly done nails redone because the end product was very undesirable. There is 0 cuticle care. Ladies, you know how fresh it feels to see your brand new hands once you get done with a manicure. They didn't touch my cuticles at all, or clear out any of the "gunk." You know, the glue, dust, and crap that ends up under your fresh tips that other places shave out with a tool so your fingers aren't disgusting. I was in and out in under 45 minutes and definitely felt like (and looks like) they did a botched rush job. I took some pics so you can see for yourself. Very disappointed but I've learned a lesson that to correct, I won't go to the same place that didn't do a great job to begin with. read more

I have come here multiple times. Unfortunately, one bad time is enough to ruin the whole experience for me. I had come in asking if they could take me immediately and the lady at the front (Val) said it would be a 10-15 minute wait. Me not being in a rush, agreed on waiting and was received by Tony. Tony then asked if I had any reference photo which I then replied with yes and showed him Pink French Tip Acrylics with 3D flowers. I was told they cannot do 3D flowers despite it being one of the most commonly used nail designs. I then pulled up another picture of nails (photo 2) I wanted which they then agreed they could do. Tony must've not been experienced enough to do nail work like that because I was then left to wait for Val to come do my nails. That was no problem. During my time with Val, she was kind but I felt as she was rushing on my nails, even being a bit harsh with the filing. After continuously showing my reference photo, she did the colors and marble design that I wanted. All was okay from there. Until the gems came on. She separated them so much in an unorderly, messy pattern. I think she noticed her bad work because she kept trying to look at them from a distance attempting to fix them. I then took a quick peak at them and it looked NOTHING like the picture. (Photo 1) I understand if they didn't have the same gems as the picture but at least put it together neatly and nicely, or just tell me you can't do the gems! I was already upset. I told her if she could take it off and replace it to then which she just rushed again. It still didn't look good. At this point, I was like "Ok, whatever. I'm going to have to pay $80 for these nails I hate." I then came across my friend to which encouraged me to speak out. Because even she was surprised at how ugly my nails were. I then asked if I could get a refund, or some money back, or at least get the gems off and fixed. I was told yes but I needed to wait. WHAT? After your terrible nail job you want me to wait?? I was sitting down waiting for about 10 minutes when I then stood up and asked if they were going to do it because I needed to go. Val finally took it upon her to do my nails and said she would be returning $20 for the gems. I was okay with that. I will never come back again. read more

The service is really great but the polishes are old and gloopy. I love getting pedicures and they give a really good one, with good massage, good products, and relaxing atmosphere. But the lasting part of a pedicure is the polish, and theirs doesn't last. Many, many of the polishes are nearly out, and are thick and syrupy. That means that they're old and dried out, which means they don't stay. My recent pedi only lasted 2 days. I might come back here but I'll look for other options unless they revamp and replenish their polish selection. Also I wish the techs wore name tags. read more

Came here to get a pedicure. The lady charged $5.00 extra to scrub my feet. I have been to so many nail salons and never have I ever been charged additional. It is a standard thing they do at salons. I was outraged. It wasn't the cost that bothered me, but it was just the practice of charging extra for something that is so basic in a pedicure. I can't imagine what else they charge extra for. Came to get a pedi here a while back and now returning for another. I got a runners pedi the first time and a regular spa the second. He first time the tech spent an hour wit me. I was happy she didn't rush and that she did every step with care. My toes looked great! I was happy with the cut and the paint. My toes are bad today so let's see where this leads. I am wondering if it will be up to par as last time. Will say I came by myself last time and it was quiet except music. Disappointed this time because the techs are talking to themselves and I had hoped it would be more relaxing. The tech did say I didn't need a spa because my feet were not bad. They've got a huge selection of small and large gems all assorted in shapes, colors and designs so ask for some extra time and remember, choose wisely. Don't get gems too large because trust me, they'll hit everything. In terms of choosing a color: oh honey, take your time! The world is your oyster so peek at every single shade they've got because I'm sure you'll be searching for a color you've seen on instagram and dying to capsulate that perfect nail color to share with all your friends. I found this shop on a whim about 3-4 years ago and i have to say i love the owners! Tila always remembers my name when i call to make an appointment and Len is so gentle and patient with my nails! He always slays my nail and shape of what i want! The only downfall is i have came here less and less because i takes me about 55 minutes to drive there and that is without traffic. I live in springfield, and the shop is out of my way. The shop is so beautiful and chic! Len and Tila designed their own shop, was also apart of the some of the artistic implements to the wall. I get my nails done every few weeks. I have to have acrylic nails due to vitamin deficiencies and my natural nails being so weak. I am known for breaking nails constantly however, that all stopped when I started going to zen. They do an amazing job!! Too notch quality! The facility is very clean and staff is very nice and speaks English well. They are not snooty and even help with suggestions on colors and design. This is the ONLY nail salon that can actually do real designs in this area. Show them a Pinterest picture and they will replicate it 100%. It's amazing.
