It is a honeycomb waffle popular in Hong Kong. It is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. It looks like bubble wrap, which is hard to tell as mine was covered in strawberries and bananas. I enjoyed the texture and flavors of it. The Gilded Pear is a great addition if you're looking for somewhere to grab a quick bite to eat.

We waited to place our order while reviewing the menu, seeing that they have a chicken salad I will have to come back to try. We both ordered the chicken livers with one side. I chose the Mac and cheese and my dad got fries. The Mac n cheese had no texture, very similar to KFC's. I don't care for the taste either so next time I'll go for the fries but the chicken livers were perfectly cooked and breaded. We will definitely be back to try more!
