Price is great for portion, LOTS of options to choose from. staff is very friendly & attentive! food was very good, 7/10 for the alfredo, chicken was nice and juicy. sauce was a bit too watery for me but i believe it was due to how fresh & hot it was! Husband said pizza was 6/10, still very enjoyable. he got pepperoni and bacon on a small pizza. the mozzarella sticks were wonderful! the actual restaurant is a bit old looking, but this establishment has been here for forever, so no points taken off. very clean environment despite this! very enjoyable experience around 40$ before tip. read more

Came for the pizza by the slice and a steak and cheese. I didn't listen to my gut and walk out. So once again disappointed in my choices. The wait was 30 mins there were approx 3 other customers already seated and eating. I had to remind them we were waiting. Then the final product... yikes. This is a never again. read more

Angelo's Pizza - Smh. The cheese isn't even melted. - Pizza Near Me - Smithfield, North Carolina

We scheduled a trip to shop at the Carolinas Premium Outlet in Smithfield but we started getting hungry so we took a quick detour to this restaurant. What led us to this joint was the strong recommendation from fellow Yelpers (so helpful!). The place wasn't so busy so we were seated promptly. We decided on the solo pizza and the chicken tenders. Sometimes it's the simplest fare that gives the best impression. The pizza was prepared superbly! The crust was delectably crunchy without being tough and the toppings were delicious! If this place wasn't too far from where I live, I'd be here everyday. Of course I still love the pizza at Johnny's. But variety is the spice of life and it doesn't hurt to try other things. The chicken tenders were slightly overcooked on the outside but remarkably moist and tender inside. I don't know how they did it. So with that, let's pass on the grades The pizza was an A-. The tenders was a C+ The service was adequate. I hope to come back again and try the rest of their fare. read more

I don't care what others said: I came from over an 2 hours road trip to the outlets, and at the end of the night, I was craving for a pizza place with the Italian taste, ordered a calzone (amazingly delicious) and build you own pizza for two. My wife couldn't finish her calzone, neither I the pizza. It was worth the price, service was average and ambiance like regular dine in, nothing special. I would definitely come back again. read more

Amazing friendly service and my calzone was BANGING!!! Even got an elephant drawing on my receipt! Thank you!!

The food was not prepared as ordered. My wife is a vegetarian and the special for Friday was a 1 topping large pizza so I ordered half mushroom half cheese. They instead gave me half pepperoni and half pepperoni and mushrooms. Wife ended up having to go to papa John's to get a pizza instead. The fried mushrooms were ok. Tons of batter on them. My gyro platter was very disappointing. No sauce. Meat really dry. And fries cold and soggy. Yes it was very busy but if you're going to take so long to fulfill the order at least complete it right. Prob won't order from here again. read more

Strip mall pizza place we opted for since we had a group of 5 at lunch. Heavy locals place so that is good sign. Had the Hawaiian pizza and wings. Good food and friendly service. We were seated immediately. Took a bit to get the wings but they had to cook them since we ordered 40 wings and two pizzas. read more

Picked up some pasta to carb load for a major bike ride. Food was decent. Only issue that the advertised business hours did not match what they actually did. Unfortunately had to take food out versus dining in. read more

Pretty good pizza. Haven't tried anything else yet but might. Probably best pizza in town.

Fresh ingredients, homemade crust, great friendly staff, not sure what more you cold want from a pizza place! We had a small Veggie pizza with generous toppings and a more traditional small one also generously topped! They even brought separate serving utensils which we've never had anyone do before, they said they knew some people didn't want to mix uses. We were passing though but will definitely stop again! read more

Had a craving for some pizza and garlic knots, so I ordered from Angelo's through Doordash. The garlic knots were a tiny bit over cooked, but overall still delicious. Don't go! The food is not worth the customer service! I order my food they bagged it up so I couldn't see what was actually in the bag. I trusted that they got it right. Drove back home 20 minutes away just to open it and see it was incorrect. Called them and got out on hold for 6 minutes but I could hear everything in the background but no one actually helped me. Hung up and called back. Finally got someone and let them know my order was wrong. JESSIE was in the background cussing me out. He then took the phone from the cashier and asked me "what do you want?". In this economy, businesses should be thankful that people choose to spend money with them. But instead, you're hit with foul mouthed employees who couldn't care less. If I'm spending $25 for a quesadilla and 10 wings, I expect the order to be correct. read more

Love their food!! Excellent service. I have never had an order go wrong. The staff is very friendly and professional.

We had a delivery sent to our hotel cos we were too tired to go eat in. They were prompt in getting it to us and the delivery guy was very friendly. We specifically asked if they could send some paper plates & napkins with him since we were in a hotel. They said they would, but he didn't have anything with him and said no one told him. Oh well..... The pizza itself was very, very good. In fact, much better than we were expecting. We got the veggie, which had very generous toppings and a nicely baked crust. Not too limp and not too crispy! Well done! read more

We pulled in to the shopping center to turn around tonight and just happened to see the sign while doing so. Me and my wife were planning on fixing something at home, but being lovers of NY style pizza I asked her to pull in so I could go check it out. Just got a standard large pepperoni to go, but it did not disappoint at all. We both really enjoyed it, the pizza was well balanced between bread, sauce, cheese and toppings which it what really makes a good pizza. We'll be back and I would definitely encourage others to visit this local establishment for a wonderful NY style pizza pie! read more

Good pizza. Got the large meat lovers. They gave us a 10% discount for showing our hotel room key. Came to $17.28 which includes tax.

DO NOT SPEND YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY HERE!!! One star will be provided to this company due to bad customer service and bad speed with service. Paid $95 for food waited 45mins. Did not get a coupon since the menu changed and they are under "new management" the coupon I had was given to me with my menu but the menu changed with new management. I was missing sauce for my wings and my additional sauce that I was forced to pay extra for. Manager was called at 7pm states he will call me back but 35 mins goes by with nothing. Terrible service will not return. Business claims I was harassing the customers when I went to the store to fix the issues since I was told over the phone "the manager is too busy to talk to you" dont go to this business if you are a woman, Caucasian or African American. Cultural differences will be used as an excuse to provide poor customer service. read more

Angelo's Pizza - All the items I got and I was missing items from my order - Pizza Near Me - Smithfield, North Carolina

If your from the north don't bother, flavorless, overcooked and the crust is cardboard. Good customer service however.

Took a chance based on Yelp reviews. Staying at a nearby hotel, too tired to move let alone drive. Thank the stars for delivery, and how refreshing to have the most charming, professional person to compete that task. Shoot, should've tipped bigger. Anyway, started with a Ceasar salad and then had to have some fries...just cuz. Tasted both and wow, good fries and a caesar I'll drive back to Angelo's for! Yum!! Almost forgot about the Hawaiian pizza. NY style, smells heavenly, tastes even better. Thanks, Angelo's, for doing a really good job in great food and great customer service. Signed, very happy new customer! read more

I've eaten here twice (take out both times) and this has become our new favorite pizza place! The pizza crust is thin and chewy and not heavy on sauce. My second time coming here for me and my friend and I think this might be our regular lunch spot when we're in town. The owner is a super friendly guy and the good is delicious. The lunch special is a really good deal. You get what looks like half a pizza it's so big and a drink for just a few bucks! My friend got that and I was starting to wish I had too until my lasagna arrived. It was a huge portion and delicious. Definitely recommended. read more

This place was SO good!!! Fresh veggies on our pizza, superior service, and literally the best pizza we have found since arriving in JOCO several years ago. Their garlic knots were on point!! Solid pizza. I'm from northern Jersey and from an Italian family- it's pretty good and the best part is it isn't greasy!! They are friendly and affordable. If they say 30 min- it's never that long- they are fast and efficient. I do wish they'd sell a true white pizza though. It's my family's favorite. But we are still regulars for either a cheese, pepp, onion, pineapple/ham, or sausage pizza. it's consistently good. They do slice the onions kinda thick so if that's your jam, you will love it. I like thin sliced onions but that's no where near a deal breaker for me. Bc it's that good. read more

New Yorker here. Based on hotel's recommendation, we ordered takeout from this place during an overnight stopover on our return drive from Florida. (I strongly recommend Holiday Inn Express nearby, but that's another review.) We're glad we gave it a chance. We had a plain pie and a sausage/peppers pie, which was loaded with the toppings. Pizza was excellent and a good deal. Total cost was $25 with coupon that we got at hotel. Sauce was fresh and zesty. Cheese was creamy/salty/tasty. Yum. TIP: While we waited, we picked up some wine at Wal-Mart across the way. Sorry no photos -- I thought of that after we devoured the pizza! read more
