This is the cutest place in Smithfield. Located on the main drag, they had great options for food, but I opted for an iced coffee on a hot June morning to start my day. The barista was very helpful. I asked her opinion about a couple of different things, I ended up with the coconut drink that was on special for the month. It was amazing. I sipped it as I walked through old historic Smithfield. The space itself you can tell a lot of love and thoughtfulness goes into the store. Everything was very clean, I love that they were cute messages on the cups, little positivity in this day and age really goes a long way. Everything at the Guilded Pear seems to be made with kindness and consideration.

The food we got was decent & tasty, but was Very Disappointed by portion size of the breakfast eggs & "hash browns" (half mini taters). there was MAYBE a Half an egg & the 2 mini bacon pieces were about half sized as well. Had to cook 2 additional eggs to add to it to make it a "normal sized portion". Crepes were good and reasonably sized

I needed a spot to pop in, freshen up, and grab a quick lunch on my way to the outlets. What a great vibe! The staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. I parked on the street so that was easy too. There were a lot of options for food and cold/hot beverages. I went with the Hot Hen bc I love #alltheheat. It was deliciousss. I love it when a chef has a heat that builds and doesn't just add a hot pepper without folding in complementary flavors for each bite. If you are in this neck of the woods, pop in. You will be so glad you did.

Incredible service. Incredible menu choices & food, lovely atmosphere! We are so glad we stumbled into this gem of a restaurant. We had the pear & goat cheese flatbread, avocado english muffin (I think it was made from scratch), bubble waffle w/ chicken and bubble waffles w/ banana. Everything was amazing! Cute kids area for art/books as well as games. We were blown away by the kindness of the staff. Thank you so much!! We will absolutely be back!!

Our first trip for breakfast. Not coffee drinkers, but enjoyed this quaint place with fresh brewed unsweetened iced tea, breakfast sandwiches, and interesting desserts. Lovely decor. Relaxing atmosphere.

What a cute, quaint little coffee shop and eatery. My son found this spot when we were looking for something new to try while shopping in Smithfield. It did not dissapoint. I got a flatbread and he ordered a bubble waffle. We shared an order of pimento cheese deviled eggs and it was all absolutely delicious. He ordered a coffee that was also very good. I would definitely recommend you give it a try.

We love to try coffee shops when we travel and this one did not disappoint. The staff was happy and helpful. Our Mayan Hot Chocolates were delicious. We heard the food was great too. Definitely recommend!

I also love that there is a Caribou Coffee shop at this location. I've actually never been to a Caribou Coffee shop anywhere so this is my only experience with an actual brick and mortar shop. It used to be SO good. I always got great coffee from here and it was always a pleasure to visit. This time - not so much. I wanted to try the iced honey cold press coffee but I was informed they were out of honey. Bummer. So then instead I went with the iced oat vanilla shaken espresso. I was rung up but then told they did not have oat milk, so they offered me coconut milk instead, which as we all know, changes the consistency of the drink. When I was handed the drink it had one of those icee type tops on it and it was filled to the brim, so the coffee was spilling everywhere! Once I cleaned everything up and took a sip of it in the car, it was just not good. It was overly sweet, watery, and not creamy at all. I was so disappointed as it cost me $8.00. I'm so bummed that this location seems to have gone down hill as it was always such a nice coffee stop break.

Many of them do have some standalone places like Starbucks and other coffee houses but a lot of them are also found inside shopping centers food courts malls etc They offer many different styles of coffee like any kind of a coffee specific sort of brewhouse Some say they're a little pricier but it seems like they're competitive with Starbucks only not as burnt tasting to me because I am not a fan of Starbucks This is a second one by the Iowa 80 group that they bought in franchise themselves the other one in the main Iowa 80 world's largest truck stop. I don't really do those fancy schmancy coffees at all the kids and the hipsters are into and all the flavored things I just like cream and Splenda LOL. So I came in and got just a regular house cup of coffee before I walked back out to the truck after dining at the food court and the service was good by the Iowa 80 employees and a whole lot more it was perfectly fine and I don't have any complaints.

This bistro is located in the same shopping center as the Food Lion and Hwy 55. There aren't a lot of parking spots right in front of Boba Beans, but there's plenty right on the other side near Food Lion. This is a great place to grab and go or stay for a while. I've come a few times to work while waiting for my car inspection next door or when I just needed to get out of the house since I work from home. There are plenty of tables and chairs throughout and even some couches if you'd like something more comfortable. I don't like tea or coffee much, so I can't give a review on those, but they have a Citrus Refresher with boba that is absolutely delicious! I always get that when I go. They've recently changed their food menu a bit, so I'm not sure what is best, but I've also always enjoyed the food there as well. It's made fresh to order in-house. My favorite thing about Boba Beans is that they have staff of ALL abilities. I absolutely love seeing how the staff provides opportunities for people with a variety of disabilities. That's what made me fall in love with it! Not a lot of establishments will give people a chance, but it's great to see this happening here! Highly recommend it if you're in the area!

I ordered a Cranberry Pomegranate tea with mango syrup and tapioca pearls using the self-serve kiosk, which was quick and easy. While waiting, I looked around and was really impressed by the space. There are plenty of seating options, a play area for kids, and two fun photo-op walls. I'll definitely be back with my family to try more drinks and check out the food menu as well.

The drink menu is huge, and it's clearly geared more toward flavored latte lovers than coffee purists. If you like creative, dessert-style drinks, you'll have plenty to choose from. Drinks: I ordered a cortado, but it came out more like a breve. Not a big deal, but not quite what I was expecting. I also tried The Alchemist -- an iced latte with white chocolate, English toffee, and raspberry. It was enjoyable, but definitely flavor-forward, with the syrups taking center stage more than the espresso. Food: This is where the place really shines. I ordered the chicken biscuit with Sriracha hot honey, and it was excellent. Crispy chicken, a great biscuit, and the sweet heat from the sauce tied everything together perfectly. Overall: If you're looking for a great breakfast or brunch spot with lots of fun drink options, No Filter is a solid choice. If you're hunting for a specialty coffee experience focused on the coffee itself, this probably isn't the destination -- but the food alone makes it worth the stop.
