I also love that there is a Caribou Coffee shop at this location. I've actually never been to a Caribou Coffee shop anywhere so this is my only experience with an actual brick and mortar shop. It used to be SO good. I always got great coffee from here and it was always a pleasure to visit. This time - not so much. I wanted to try the iced honey cold press coffee but I was informed they were out of honey. Bummer. So then instead I went with the iced oat vanilla shaken espresso. I was rung up but then told they did not have oat milk, so they offered me coconut milk instead, which as we all know, changes the consistency of the drink. When I was handed the drink it had one of those icee type tops on it and it was filled to the brim, so the coffee was spilling everywhere! Once I cleaned everything up and took a sip of it in the car, it was just not good. It was overly sweet, watery, and not creamy at all. I was so disappointed as it cost me $8.00. I'm so bummed that this location seems to have gone down hill as it was always such a nice coffee stop break.

Many of them do have some standalone places like Starbucks and other coffee houses but a lot of them are also found inside shopping centers food courts malls etc They offer many different styles of coffee like any kind of a coffee specific sort of brewhouse Some say they're a little pricier but it seems like they're competitive with Starbucks only not as burnt tasting to me because I am not a fan of Starbucks This is a second one by the Iowa 80 group that they bought in franchise themselves the other one in the main Iowa 80 world's largest truck stop. I don't really do those fancy schmancy coffees at all the kids and the hipsters are into and all the flavored things I just like cream and Splenda LOL. So I came in and got just a regular house cup of coffee before I walked back out to the truck after dining at the food court and the service was good by the Iowa 80 employees and a whole lot more it was perfectly fine and I don't have any complaints.

Larema's banana pudding is a step above what I have ever had before. It was light, with a very rich banana flavored custard that didn't lean too heavy on the sugar. Just my style! The other dessert was a tiramisu. Also, very light and not too sweet, delivering a pleasant mouth feel with a rich coffee/cocoa flavor. Can't wait to make an in-person visit so that I can explore more of their desserts and breakfast/ lunch menu items.

I remember needing a place that felt safe, nourishing, and calm--and this restaurant gave me that. I came in during the Olympics and was able to sit, rest, watch the games, and simply be for a little while. The atmosphere was welcoming without being overwhelming, which meant more than I can easily put into words. The food itself was exactly what my body needed--fresh, healthy greens and clean, nourishing options that helped me feel grounded and cared for during a time when so much was uncertain. You can tell the ingredients are fresh and thoughtfully prepared. It wasn't just a meal, it was a moment of restoration. What stayed with me most was the sense of being able to sit in a peaceful place, eat something good for my body, and feel human again in the middle of a very hard year. I'm deeply grateful for that experience and would absolutely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for fresh, healthy food and a calm place to land--whether you're traveling or just need a quiet, nourishing meal.

We ordered five drinks, and each were as delectable as the last. I got the white mocha latte, which was a solid cup of coffee. They had a wide variety of flavors to choose from as well, and a bunch of sweet treats to go with your coffee. Overall, a very pleasant coffee run. If we are in the area again, we will most certainly be coming back!

The coffee at our overnight hotel did not hit the spot so we decided to patronize this little local cafe. Morning Addiction is a cute little spot in Rocky Mount. Think of your local coffee shop...a quaint little cafe with some fresh baked goods, an amazing coffee selection and service with a smile. The spot was filled with locals enjoying their morning brew & others taking advantage of the convenient WiFi. We had a caramel macchiato, sugar free vanilla latte & an iced frosted cinnamon roll latte with oatmilk. We were impressed with the fact that alternative milks were available. Each drink was topped with a delicious chocolate covered espresso bean. We also tried the homemade walnut coffee cake. Everything was very good. Definitely worth a try!
