Wanted to go through drive thru and was stopped by a young lady saying they are more worried about drive thru times than actually serving there guests in a fast manner and when we asked to see a menu she said she doesn't have one to show us and proceeds to show us the POS tablet used to take the orders which doesn't do anything but make us more confused. We don't even know one thing on the menu nor the amount or price so we decided to just go inside...worst mistake ever. Smells of black mold, rats, and doesn't look as it's been cleaned in a hot minute. Tried to call and talk to manager seeing as our first trip to zaxbies has gone terrible and it was said that he was too busy. The new lemon pepper chicken is da bomb!!! The *other* chicken place is my usual, but them lemon pepper chicken fingers are going to bring me back! I am less excited about their standard fried chicken so glad they brought these. I hope lemon pepper is a long term item and not temporary or seasonal. The wings were small and dried out. My biggest concern or complaint is the poor customer service I received. When I pulled up the window to pay for my order, the window slides open with a female employee standing there not saying anything. No good afternoon, hello or anything in fact she was totally mute. She extended her hand out and took my debit card from my hand. After she did this, I asked her if she can speak, she preceded to close the window back. After she reopened the window to hand me my debit card she said with a smile "I do speak". I love the Zaxby's house salad! It is my favorite item on their menu. Most of the time when I go to Zaxby's it is what I order. But of course because I'm complicated I always change my salad to my personal preferences, lol. The Zaxby's house salad with grilled chicken, no cheese, and I add extra tomatoes/cucumbers. Sometimes I skip the Texas toast too. The lite vingarette and honey mustard are my fave dressings. I love to mix them! Don't knock it until you try it. They make the salads fresh. So there are no wilted lettuce or rotten vegetables in my salad. This I greatly appreciate! There is a small up charge for the extra tomatoes and cucumbers. It's less than a dollar! I think it is worth it for an extra yummy salad. This particular Zaxby's is drive thru & mobile order pick up outside only due to COVID precautions. You can order ahead in the app. Also if you order from Zaxby's even semi often it is worth it to download the app. You'll get discounts and freebies! Around lunch and five o'clock the drive thru can get very long. So if you can go during the off times you'll have less of a wait. Or mobile order, park, & a staff member will bring your food out to you so you'll bypass the drive thru line. Bottom line- go grab yourself a Zaxby's salad! read more

Very frustrated , went through drive thru and ordered Zax pack for family and reminded them to make sure they had the sauce . Clerk said that sauce was inside . Got home 20 miles later and no sauce . I'm thankful for this Zaxby's because it is one of the best fast food options on this side of highway 17. Nonetheless there isn't anything spectacular about the location. The employees are decent and the food is consistent. The one thing I appreciate about this location is the fact that they accept military discount. Overall this restaurant deserves a B-. The food is consistent, service is average, and they honor military discount. Pitfalls, this location can get busy and I'm not a fan of the Zax Sauce (but if you like thousand island you will be fine). read more

This is where you find good homestyle fried chicken tenders. The House salad is good and the tender meal is good. The fries and the onion rings are good but a little heavy on the salt for my taste. It's all fresh ingredients. The service is quick and accurate but not so friendly. I am not a fan of the Zaxby's sauce but the Sweet and spicy sauce is very good. They have a banana pudding shake that is really yummy, as is the Vanilla shake. I am fast becoming a regular here. read more

The food was great so I would give that 4/5 stars.. the issue was the TERRIBLE service! When we walked in we didn't get greeted at all. When we went to get a drink the machine was out of numerous flavors and when I asked if they were out the lady working the counter seemed very put out and filled my drink behind the counter. Then when I asked for 3 Zaxby's sauces (we had 3 meals total) she said your first is free you have to pay for the rest. I said but I have 3 meals? She says.. it doesn't matter. So I paid for the sauce and moved on. Then my friend needed something and went up to the counter where she stood for a few minutes with no response from anyone and there was a girl standing near the counter. If I could leave one star I would. Went to Zaxbys on the way to the hotel and got a Fried house salad and cheddar bites.. got to the hotel to eat the cheddar bites and find that you pay $5.77 and only get 8 cheddar bites in the whole to go container? And then on top of that ordered a salad that you pay $10+ for and get to eating it and find that most of the lettuce is brownish/black color... the inside atmosphere and workers weren't polite and top that off the inside smelt like straight weed! Usually this place is good, however in the last few weeks they have really went to crap. Their salads are skimpy, tonight they were out of fries, how the hell are you out of fries?
