Very first time at Zaxby's & it has become one of my favorites. The food is made to order delicious & hot the chicken tenders was so fresh the cheese crushed & tenders was very crunch just like I like them. The cold slaw was creamy it wasn't watering like other I really enjoy. They had s whole fully menu it's so much that I wanted to order everything look so delicious. Drive thru service at this location is very convenient. Me and my boyfriend road through to grab a quick snack. It gave me the chance to try the new peach sweet tea, which was good! Be sure to give it a lil shake before drinking. The service took at most 5 mins to get my food and the lady at the drive through was very nice. I am sorry, the chicken sandwich simply was not good! I got the plain sandwich, not spicy and I got the combo which I normally don't do but I wanted to try the crinkle cut fries. Fries were great but the chicken, it was just boring, bland, tasteless. Bun was yummy also but the chicken, its just simply not good. First time at a Zaxby's and I was pretty surprised. It had the feel of an upscale fast food joint, similar to that of a Smashburger or Chipotle. The restaurant was pretty nice. It was clean inside with plenty of seating available. It had high tops, tables and bar areas to sit at. There was also plenty of seating outside, too. Upscale or not, it still had the feel and vibe of a fast food restaurant. The service was good. Typical quick and efficient, though the staff wasn't all that friendly. In fact, the person taking the order was pretty annoyed that I was ordering and wasting his time apparently --perhaps he had something better to do? Though not the healthy choice, the food was good. Their chicken was tasty --I had their club sandwich, and fries pretty generic, though good. Not sure I'd rave about the food, or not sure I'd go out of my way because 'I have to have ZAXBY'S!!!', but it was good. The restaurant is buried in a plaza off the freeway. You can't see the restaurant from the main road, and take a few twists and turns to get to from the freeway, so it wasn't easy on/off, but still not too much of a pain. read more

We were driving South on I-85 headed for Augusta Georgia when we were overcome by hunger but wanted a quick stop. Having seen zaxby's many times before in the South but never trying one, decided to finally give it a chance. I had heard a lot of great things about their chicken so I was excited to try this. Ordered a Cajun club chicken sandwich meal. The restaurant at South was okay not too clean not too dirty. ordering at the cash register was simple and the sandwiches were ready fairly quickly. The club sandwich was basically a full chicken breast on a roll and the chicken breast have obviously been cooked earlier. Couldn't really taste any cajun spice on it. So all in all the food was just sort of meh. not really sure I go back but maybe I owe them another chance. read more

Did an online order. Food was cold and order was not right. Paid for extra sauces and was only given one. Asked for extra seasoning on fries and got barely any seasoning. Would not recommend. Zaxbys does chicken strips really well. Zaks sauce isn't too bad but some people like it others not so much. But at least you have a choice of sauce. You get a slice of Texas toast that's good. But Zaxby's is definitely worth a try. read more

I lived up north where there are no Zaxby's. That area had chicken wings everywhere. They even have a wing fest every year. After we moved south we sought out a place that has good wings. We had East Coast wings but they were expensive and not as good as we hoped. Then we tried Zaxby's and oh my goodness we fell in love with their wings. They are reasonably priced and the quality is amazing. We will never go to East Coast again. Thank you for making this northern couple excited about your wings. read more

I've never been inside this place. I always do drive thru. But I've never had an issue with wrong food or unfriendly employees & it's always pretty fast, even when I order extra crispy wings. And they don't try to be lazy and just give me regular wings. They are always extra crispy as I like them. But I've been to a few Zaxbys and never had any huge problems. If you don't mind paying $.25 for water and $.25 for extra sauce, this place is for you. If you don't want to give your kids soda and you have a problem with being charged because of that, don't eat here. I love Zaxbys, usually I go to the one in Kannapolis and they have good service. This Zaxbys always does something wrong, but it is the closest to my house. This is the LAST TIME I will visit this Zaxbys. My fiancé and I walked in and stood there for a good 3 minutes while 5 employees in the kitchen talked and looked at us, none of which said hi or we will get the cashier or anything. There was no one inside the restaurant and maybe 3 cars in the drive thru, not busy enough to be disregarded. As we walked out, a lady said "uh oh". No one spoke up and said "wait" or anything. This Zaxbys has messed up my food at least twice. I've only visited this location 4 times, this being the fourth and final. I've contacted their corporate location on this final occasion as I am tired of being treated horribly. It's obvious other people have steered away, since at 6:00 on Sunday NO ONE was inside.
