    Eel and tuna nigiri
    Candace J.

It's is always a joy to go to Sabaidee! This time, I decided to order something different. As my appetizer, I ordered the eel and tuna nigiri. The tuna was good, but the eel was excellent! It was silky in the middle and crispy in the edges. For my entree I had the Thai Fried Rice with Tofu. It was very well seasoned and didn't need any soy sauce. The tofu was not as firm as I thought it would be, but it was still good. The portion size was great and ended up being two meals. As always, the service and ambiance were great. I have no idea how our servers always remember the orders for our entire group without writing anything down. That is truly a gift!

I like the interior decoration they have, there is a gazebo inside the restaurant, they really spend a lot of effort in interior design to make it unique. But I go there to eat and not walk around a park. Food is ok, typical thai food, nothing unique or something to rave about. Portion seems to be on the smaller size which is a downer.

One of my favorite Salisbury restaurants. Delicious Thai foods and a very friendly staff whether you are dining in or taking food to go. The Bento boxes offered at lunch are the best option to try a few items.

    Spicy beef larb.

Spicy beef larb salad. Disgusting. Do not order. The "beef" did not taste like beef at all. It was boiled beef with no flavor. There were absolutely no laab seasonings in the dish other than the few remnants of roughly grounded rice speckles. As a person of South East Asian descent, this was an absolute disgrace to a dish that is loved by many SEA's. Please do better Sabaidee, by serving dishes that are at least enjoyable even if you have to make it less authentic.

Soo good. First of all it's called Rice now, so that is a bit confusing. They had like two tables full and we sat down.they gave us a bowl of soup.thought they brought it to the wrong table but everyone gets some. Then we had spring rolls, tea, shrimp pad Thai and my husband had pho and it was all less than 35.00. There was a waiting line when we finally left

Ordered online for takeout. One item wasn't available so an employee called to ask me if I wanted something else. That was nice and surprising since so often I'm not made aware of things like that until I go to pick up an order. The best part of the meal was the spring rolls. They were crispy and didn't taste greasy, but that's all they had going for them. The broccoli delight was advertised to be in a brown sauce. The brown sauce it was in was a very sweet brown liquid, not what I'd call a sauce. As a result, the chicken and vegetables were saturated in a sweet flavor with nothing sticking to them. The fried rice contained burned eggs which I picked out. The rice was interesting on first bite but after a few bites, it too was very sweet. I wasn't expecting the food to be so sweet! I probably won't go back soon because I don't want a repeat of eating sweet food. I'll let time pass before I try again since I expected better considering all the positive reviews.

The worst Pas Thai I've ever had in my life.

I wish there was an option for no stars and the opportunity to warn potential patrons to run!! From the service to the food it's all rancid!!! When we told our service she refused to remake our dishes or offer us a refund on inedible food. The server was incredibly rude and judgmental to not just my party but others in the restaurant as well. You are better off eating a frozen dinner that you leave out in the sun for several days in a vat of spoiled milk and chicken poop then wasting your time or money eating here.

I've been hearing about Sabaidee Thai for so long but finally got a chance to try it. It was sooo good! I'm so glad to find another Asian restaurant that serves delicious sushi so close to home. Can't wait to go back and try it out again. Serve was so polite and helpful! Fast and attentive. There was so many delicious sushi options to choose from, all the better to come back and try more. My husband got the pepper chicken, again sooo good!

The food was excellent--fresh, well-prepared, and full of flavor. The sushi in particular was a pleasant surprise, both in quality and presentation. Everything felt thoughtfully made rather than rushed. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, striking a nice balance between casual and comfortable. It's the kind of place where you can relax, enjoy your meal, and actually take your time without feeling pressured. Service was friendly and attentive, adding to the overall positive experience. From start to finish, the visit felt smooth and enjoyable. Overall, Bangkok Downtown delivers a great combination of food, atmosphere, and experience. I'd definitely return and recommend it to anyone looking for a solid meal in a relaxed setting--especially if you're craving sushi in an unexpected spot.

As we decided on our meal our waitress did a great job of keeping water and tea on our table plus any type of sauces we asked for to dip our egg rolls and spring rolls and Crab dragons (one of my favorites). Our oldest son and his girlfriend was enjoyed the Sushi. Our youngest had ordered a bowl of chicken and rice soup with scallions. I noticed he was letting it cool so I got me a spoonful and in my older years I can't handle a lot of salt in or on my food. And his soup definitely had to much. As our food was being our daughter in-law had a bowl of egg drop soup. Something I also enjoy. But she took about two spoons full and pushed it to the side. I started to put my spoon in and she warned me that it was extremely Salty. So I took her word for it. The waitress took it off the bill. I had ordered Hibachi steak and shrimp. My steak was as tuff as it could be. The shrimp were okay but nothing to write home about. So with in a two week span my wife and I spent over 100 dollars on food from two different restaurants in Salisbury that unless we just happened to hit on an off day we were very disappointed in our food. We have dined at Bangkok several times over the years it's been at this location and been very pleased with our meal. But last night we were disappointed.

Presentation was adequate but on Styrofoam plate for dine in with plastic fork. Considering that place wasn't super busy but rather slow, the tables could have been cleaner and more aligned. First table saw coming in needed touchup. I informed order taker at counter that could use attention as doesn't create the best 1st impression. She handled it after taking my order. Pleasant but possibly shy, on the quite side so hard to read emotion. So details could improve impression, for example table , chair orientation could be sharpened during quite times. Not sensing abundance of energy on the front end operations, kitchen seems more energetic. Plenty of natural light (windows) and basic outside seating option are pluses. Also drive through window seemed amply busy. Can see the kitchen and they appear on it. Loved the wall murals. Prices reasonable considering prices at all places are up and bit higher than here. I got noodle hibachi chicken. The chicken looked good with seasoning but not overly flavorful, not tender (possibly on the the bit dry side which is okay when think it can translate to being on the safer to eat scale) when eat, so adequate. Noodles and carrots also adequate also. Again all together my 1st experience at this location equates to eat cause hungry place. So middle of the road experience seems to be the design, don't expect exceptional flair that some Japanese restaurants go for. No great entertainment value. But did I get value for the price, yes. Could I eat here again, yes. Would I crave this place if treating myself was the object, not as much. Do I leave satisfied answer is adequate yes. -- P. S: Parking lot has ample spaces, drive through does good volume, though cramped amount of pavement for it that butts up to neighboring business. Good location on main road (INNES) going into Historic Downtown Salisbury and not far off of I-85. So super convenient that way.

Arrive on the 23rd my husband told them we had a reservation and they stated they don't take reservations I must have called the wrong location. I whipped out my call history. December 3rd 11 minutes. Oh yeah we had a new girl that day, wtf? One hour twenty minutes for my birthday dinner. They sat a party of EIGHT with us leaving us with 15 chairs. One person ate in their lap. Nobody seemed to give a crap. So I did not go for a few months. But Sunday May 3rd took the 13 year old for a family birthday dinner. Party of six we were sat with a party of three. We made friends quick because service was horrible minimum of three but usually 5 repeats by each of us for every part of our order. She got my sushi order wrong after 5 repeats of what I wanted until finally the sous chef brought what I ordered. I asked for spicy mayo for my sushi. I believe it was four times while the waitress informed me that there was no such thing but they had spicy mustard. I said can you just let the dude know that I want spicy mayo that's making the sushi with her attitude she walked off. I ordered unsweetened tea and Splenda then had to ask for Splenda all the way till my actual main course My daughter had to repeat her salad order so many times she simply got annoyed. After my daughter ordered, I looked at the waitress, and I said will you be asking us what kind of dressing we wanted on our salads as no one at the table had given their dressing type? She said oh yeah, I guess not even sure what that means. So I'm done gratuity added because we were 6 people. I'm a great tipper so I'm sure she did not get what I would've left, but I'm positive she got more than she deserved
