This restaurant has a wonderful location. Food and service not good at all. Got a take out hamburger and it was served raw my husband took one bite and tossed it in the trash, calamari was burnt, and steaks were full of fat and not properly cooked or seasoned. All the appetizers were served with the meals. We had to wait for silverware and napkins for a long time after receiving our food and were only offered plastic silverware.. the food runner was basically serving us. I get that it was a busier night but this was shockingly bad. Definitely a waste of 50$ for our bill but the other bills were over 90$ plus tip. We will definitely not try this place again, but at least the lake was beautiful. read more

When I heard this was a restaurant that serves bar food, I didn't expect much. However, the person who told me that was WAYYYY off! Waters Edge is a full service restaurant with AMAZING food! We walked inside & were greeted by a really friendly wait staff! Everyone was smiling & had great vibes. Got our large group to a table super quick. Our waitress was very patient, & made some awesome recommendations. We ordered some appetizers for the table to share (boom boom shrimp, jalapeño poppers, fries, & stuffed mushrooms). They were really good! For my entree I ordered the ribeye! It was so tender and tasty that it'll have you wanting to order an extra to go! NO STEAK SAUCE NEEDED, it was seasoned and grilled to perfection! The sides were a wonderful compliment too! Last was dessert, the cookie skillet was soooo yummy! My son and I devoured it ! Pooped my pants, I went here and it looked like a really great restaurant being on the water having an outdoor and indoor section and it was just a really nice area but we went in there and we had to wait 40 minutes before they gave us our table, which is fine. We expected that so once the wait ended, we went and we ordered our food. Then it took almost an hour for our food to finish, which is quite a while and then when it came, our steaks had way too much seasoning and we're only cooked on one side while the other was practically medium to medium rare, the middle was well done even though I ordered a medium rare and one side was burnt while the other was well raw, we even had some friends that we ordered a burger for and their burger they said was completely raw, but otherwise, then the steak in the burger tasting like my butt hole the rest of it tasted pretty good. We go here for dinner quite often during the week. We ate dinner last night (September 10, 2025) at the bar. Food and service were excellent! I was in the mood for a steak. I had the small filet, medium rare with mashed potatoes and asparagus. Steak was cooked and seasoned to perfection! Very tender and flavorful. Asparagus was perfectly cooked: still had a little crunch. I don't eat potatoes very often and I didn't care for them last night, just had a bite or two. My husband had the ahi tuna. He liked it and couldn't finish it all, so we brought it home. They also have non-alcoholic beers and drinks for me, and a full bar and nice beer selection for those who would like a drink. Wednesday's through the spring - fall are car and bike nights at Waters Edge. Last night was bike night. When we left at 6:45 pm or so, there were about 30 bikes to look at and one vendor. I went to the Waters Edge Dock and Grill on a Saturday afternoon. We were seated as soon as we walked in and had a great view by the lake! Our server was Abby and she was great! Our table had the Boom Boom Shrimp, Bruschetta, and Coconut Shrimp! All were delicious! The coconut shrimps were jumbo and the Boom Boom shrimp were regular sized. I enjoyed the Jax Fish sandwich, it was really tasty and liked the way it was cooked. I walked away pretty satisfied with what I got. The friends I went with weren't the hugest fan of their entrees (hot honey pulled pork tacos and Buffalo chicken wrap), but they loved the appetizers. I would easily give this five stars but they need to fix the way they present the bill with 20 percent tip being the least amount suggested. Our server did not really deserve a 20 percent tip. This is ridiculous as it's not exactly a budget place. The drinks are priced high also! 12 for one shot of house vodka for the Bloody Mary Bar. I had a buffalo chicken wrap. It was too spicy and messy. The wings were cooked well and also the fish sandwich was prepared well. It is a busy place. They have darts TouchTunes and pool. They have a brunch menu and the portions are generous. I could easily live this place and will give it another go but I need a server either way some personality to turn the tide. read more

Smoked Old Fashioneds are absolutely amazing. The acoustics in the larger dining area can make conversation a bit difficult at times, but the food more than makes up for it--every dish we've tried has been fantastic. The manager is wonderful and attentive; she remembered us after just one visit, which made the experience feel even more welcoming. We've been coming to Water's Edge since we moved to Salisbury in 2021. I really love the wait staff and atmosphere and I really hate to leave this review, but I have to be honest when I say the kitchen staff couldn't get a protein temperature right if their lives depended on it. From expensive filets to burgers, if you order medium, you get rare, if you order medium well, you get rare, if you order medium rare, you get well done, etc., etc. They're happy to take it off your bill which is great, but leaving the restaurant without eating dinner sucks. First time in. Nice view which is why we decided to try it. Took another couple in order to celebrate a birthday. They said their meals were good. I ordered chicken wings and they were the worst I have ever tasted. Really bad. Ate 2 of six and wish I hadn't eaten the two. The staff was ok but not friendly. Other patrons seemed chill but the entire place had the vibe that if you weren't local (lake) they weren't very welcoming. Weird vibe. Went to this water front Sport bar for the first time while visiting a friend in Salisbury. The interior looked updated and the bar has a very easy going vibe. We were a group of 5 who were there mainly to drink and sample appetizers. The appetizer selections were a good variety and quite tasty. The pretzel with beer cheese was pretty impressive when compared to the pretzels I had in my recent trip to Germany. The waitress was the highlight of this visit. We had our first visit to Waters Edge because it fit the bill for a variety of taste buds. Service was good, think he may have been a new server, but he kept our glasses filled so that was my main goal! Nice restaurant with great view of the lake. We had the cheese curds and pretzel for appetizers. Curds were delicious but the marinara was a little unflavored...not bad...just no real pizzazz. The pretzels were good and the beer cheese was delicious. We had a pizza that was pretty good. Again, the sauce just really needed more flavor. Two of us had burgers, one was slightly overcooked and the other was undercooked. Both said they tasted good flavor wise, just wanted them cooked to their liking...they both ordered medium. The fries are seasoned, so if you are looking for a plain fry, probably not your taste. One of us ordered the chicken Alfredo. The sauce was good but the chicken was too dry to eat. I had the Cuban sandwich, it was very good, and a side salad. Then one other had the 3 cheese grilled cheese sandwich, it was good but super messy...the pimento cheese just leaked. We've been trying to get to Water's Edge all summer but only just recently made our first visit. We went for the weekend brunch which offers an impressive Bloody Mary bar. The food was terrific, and the service was friendly. We had mimosas and beers but they have a pretty nice bar selection as well. The price is a little on the higher end so you should know that before going. But the view of the lake is expansive, and they have a lot of indoor and outdoor seating options that allow you to enjoy it. The food was also quite tasty so while the price may be a bit high, it doesn't feel like a bad deal. I just thought it was worth pointing out if you are planning to go: taking a family here could be end up costing a bit more than you might expect. Side note: this is a local place which is locally owned. That always means it may have some quirks (potentially closed on holidays for example) but it also means you're supporting a local place when you eat here which is nice. read more

Good water front dining is difficult to find around here. Here it is. We sat outside on the deck and enjoyed a great view of the lake. A band was setting up (we left a little before they started). The deck seating had plenty of space. Our service was excellent. We sat and sipped some drinks while picking on appetizers and always had refills quickly. Excellent beer and mixed drink selection. I was able to have a few craft beers harder to find around here and the mixed drinks looked really good. The food may have beat the view! I don't even want to post this review-I feel like this place is a hidden GEM. We found it on Labor Day while looking for waterfront dining. It's about a 40 minute drive for us, and 100% worth it. The service was attentive and friendly, the view was incredible, and the food was so delicious. The menu is HUGE, and we decided to order appetizers to split. The review that states the stuffed mushrooms were life changing was not kidding. We also ordered the biggest coconut shrimp I've ever seen, and poutine fries that were delish.
