Friendly service even if all I wanted today was a small cup of chocolate custard. Culver's has so much more - cheese curds, fries, burgers, fried fish - but all Mrs. K. wanted today was a plain cup of chocolate custard. A very nice young lady at the counter took my order and instead of handing me a tent card, just went and pulled it herself. Super easy and quick and it was nice to be back on our way swiftly. The far side of the parking lot has a half dozen or so Tesla Supercharger stations so if you're crunching electrons, Culver's might be a good snack while you're charging up. This was our 1st time eating at any Culver's Restaurant. There is a Tesla Supercharger area within 300 feet of this restaurant. I noticed that during trip planning so that was well....SUPER! We got our EV connected to the charger and walked into Culver's shortly after they opened at 10AM. We went to their SUPER clean RR then ordered our food. We got our Butterburgers SUPER fast and enjoyed them. You already know, better than us, that the service was SUPER fast. ( I think I might have overdone the SUPER comments a tad too long. :-). We were enroute to the SEC WBB Tournament in Greenville SC. We will also stop back on our way home. I hope their opening time works out for us. The dessert menu looks good. I'm not a fan of fast food anymore with the exception of that really good chicken place everyone loves but having heard people talking about Culver's before tempted me when I saw this place. It's clean and the staff is friendly just like the chicken place everyone loves. Given the menu choices I decided to try the sourdough melt with fries. Seems simple enough. Unfortunately it didn't taste all that great. So incredibly greasy!! The flavor was probably the "butter burger" that it was supposed to be but I didn't care for it. I've heard about Culver's for the last few years but never really had the chance to check them out. Well, the day finally came and we decided to give them a try. The building is clean and well-lit. The ordering counter is well laid out with an easy to read menu on the wall. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I would say Culver's rivals Chick Fil A in terms of customer service and friendliness. I was impressed. You can order sandwiches separately or as part of a meal. They have a wide selection. Check out their website for their menu. *One thing worth noting: they cook all fish products in a separate fryer. This includes shrimp (for those like me with shellfish allergies). This gave me peace of mind when ordering. My daughter got a single Culver Deluxe burger and I got a double. The deluxe burgers come with cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickle and Mayo. You add your own ketchup and mustard if you want it. My wife got the Wisconsin Swiss Melt. We all got crinkle cut fries and drinks. Note: they have diet Root Beer! You order your food and take a number placard to your table and your food is delivered to you. You get your own drinks at the fountain. The fries were good and hot. Standard crinkle cut. I have to say as far as standardized food prep goes, my burger was probably one of the best I've had at a chain eatery and it would rival some restaurant burgers I've had. It was so good. The Patties were thin and caramelized. A nice little crunch, juiciness and wonderful flavor caressed by fresh lettuce, tomato and pickles. I will order again for sure! My wife's Wisconsin melt must have been good because she finished dang near before I got 1/2 way through my burger! This never happens! We all ordered chocolate frozen custard as a treat. Folks, I gotta tell you, there aren't enough o's in smooooooooooooth to describe it. It was the creamiest and most delicious "ice cream" I've ever had. Do yourself a favor and have some TODAY! All in all, 10/10. They have so many delicious sounding items (cheese curds I've heard) I owe it to myself to check them out first hand. I will update when I do. This location is like new inside. The employees have the system down pat and give fast, efficient, friendly service. During my visit the food was good and the employees were nice. The dining area is clean. They have a 98.0 sanitation grade posted. The restrooms are also clean. The parking area is large and convenient. They have a nice outside dining area. The walls are decorated with local interests and nearby places of interest. The decor is neat! The food was good. I got a butter burger with a side of chili. I have also had their custard which is delicious and comes in many creative flavors. I recommend giving this place a try. It's something a little different. read more

Called the store because of my order being wrong. Mallory, who answered the phone said she's the manager and that they're a franchise so you can't complain to anybody. She also said what do you want me to do get in the car and bring you the correct order? Sorry, nothing we can do about it. She said she called the owner and told him what happened and he said they are a franchise so no corporate office or anyone that I can go to about it. The mistake wasn't as big a deal as how rude she was when she spoke to me over the phone. She could've been polite and not been so cocky and rude. It's all about Customer Service. It's how you speak to people. Seriously, never been spoken to in such a rude way. I guess Mallory and the owner don't care about Customer Service. Eventually, Mallory will be treated the same way she treats her customers. You shouldn't be a manager if you do not know correct PR. read more

I have missed Culver's since leaving Minnesota 11 years ago. California had none; and now they are coming (slowly) to NC. So, on a recent trip to Charlotte to drop gf off at the airport, I had to stop in Salisbury on the way back. First time I ever saw a person standing outside taking orders when the regular drive-thru lane was busy (ala In-and-Out, et. al.). She was very friendly and helpful. Choice of the day was my favorite Pork Tenderloin sandwich, with mayo and pickles. Side of fries (though I had originally planned on cheese curds to compare to Uptown Charlie's), along with my must have, a chocolate (frozen custard) malt. I do occasionally like a Butter Burger or Fish Sandwich, just not today. Tenderloin was a huge as always, protruding a good 1/2" beyond the bun on all sides. A tad bit under-seasoned, but otherwise perfect. Fries were well-, but not over-salted, and done to perfection. Malt was also perfect, as usual. (think I've maybe had only two that weren't out of a couple hundred) All for only 12 bucks. Helluva lot better value than McD's and others. Bring one to Greensboro!! (or Danville) read more

This is my first time trying Culver's. Needless to say, as soon as I sunk my teeth into that sourdough melt, tears were getting ready to flow down my face. It was amazing. Their shakes? Delicious, but better with malts. Fries go well with their shakes. Service is fast, and you get your food rather fast if you are patient. The ambiance is very comfortable and overall this restaurant is very pleasant. 10 square knots out of 5 square knots. Would recommend EVERYONE to eat here. read more

While on a road trip, we stopped here for lunch. I'm a fan of Culver's and the two I was riding with hadn't been here before. We ordered takeout from the inside counter since we also needed to use the restroom. The employees working the counter were great (shoutout to Averi, Daniel, and Jordan). We stood against the wall in front of the counter with the numbers as we awaited our orders. Soon all but my order arrived. Averi was on top of it and noticed I was still waiting. She checked on my order and soon it was ready. They seemed to be having issues with the computer displaying the orders. I think mine was accidentally deleted. When we returned to the car I realized the custard was not included. I went back inside. Averi stopped what she was doing and asked what I needed. I asked her about the custard. She found it on the counter behind her and gave it to me. I don't know how long it was sitting there but it was melted. I prefer it that way so it worked out fine. The chicken sandwiches are good, but I highly recommend the custard. Create your own, choose the creation of the day, or grab a pre-packed flavor from the freezer. We bought 4 pints for $13! First time going to Culver's and for a fast food chain it was considerably good, enough that I would go back! Thankfully there is one in Winston not to far from me, so I shall be making a trip there soon. Originally went to try the custard and thought I'd go ahead and order dinner. They had some menu items I was eager to try, such as a butter burger and cheese curds. I did a build your own burger and opted for cheddar, tomato and lettuce as my toppings. Since the patties themselves were thin I made it a double, which was also a first for me. I upgraded my side since I'm not a fan of krinkle fries, though some people love them. The food came out fast, was fresh and quite delicious. I was also impressed with the friendliness of the employees and how much help was present. Definitely not short staffed like most places these days. After I finished eating I ordered a scoop of chocolate custard on a waffle cone. The custard is amazing!! Never had anything with such perfect creamy texture!! I actually would order the custard in a cup next time because the cone took away from flavor if you know what I mean. Like it got in the way of my amazing custard experience LOL. There are lots of ways to enjoy their custard. If you haven't been to this Wisconsin based store, you really should. The butter burgers are spectacular, my mint chip milkshake I got last week was really good and the crinkle cut French fries are definitely quality. If you like mozzarella cheese poppers, you'll love the Wisconsin cheese curds (we had a few bites when my BIL ordered them). I can also speak highly of the grilled chicken sandwich. The line to the drive thru was long but they move pretty quickly and find you easily when they have you pull to the front to get your food. The only downside I've experienced was when the fries spilled in the bag. read more

We we're traveling through Salisbury and decided to stop by Culver's. This was the 2nd time trying Culver's, with the first being In Kernersville, NC. The staff was super nice. They cashier was very understanding of our indecisiveness. I got the fish sandwich with fries and my wife got the chicken sandwich with fries. We got a double butter burger to eat later down the road. I must admit I had reservations about the fries because they were prepackaged and sitting under the heating light. There were many bags too so I just had a feeling that we were not getting fresh fries and I was right. They were coldish to the degree that they had a undercooked taste. Honestly, the burger was the only thing that was freshly hot. The fish was flaky and juicy. The bun was delicious. The fish sandwich over all had no flavor though. My wife said her chicken sandwich was good but was missing something as well. We figured it out...salt. Nothing was seasoned. The fries, fish, and chicken were not seasoned although cooked very well. The burger was very good. The buns at this place are amazing. I would try this again but next time I will ask for freshly cooked items and add salt and pepper to taste. read more
