I should have checked the rating before stopping here. I had just done a day of hiking and this was the closest location w/o a big detour on my way back home. I used the app to place my to-go order; the drive-thru was literally wrapped around the bldg, so I opted to just walk in and get it. Every other CFA location I have used the app for has a little shelf area for mobile orders...this place oddly did not just a little sign I guess you were supposed to stand under awkwardly until a staff person noticed you. It took a hot minute cuz there was also a small queue inside, but finally a girl behind the counter acknowledged me and asked if I had a mobile order. I told her I did and she went to get it. Got my drink and my order and headed out. I usually check my order before I leave but I was in a rush to beat 85 traffic, and since I had just ordered a simple chicken sandwich combo and saw the sandwich and fries + sauces in the bag, no reason to delve further. I go out to my car, unwrap my sandwich only to find my chicken sandwich was missing the most important part...the damn chicken filet!? Seriously!?! I was honestly so miffed cuz not only was it missing the filet but it was not made how I specified in my app order (it had things on it I had requested to not be) and I would have just taken them off, but to not have the actual chicken filet was like OMFG HOW THO?!...so I walk back in and there was yet another small queue for the counter, but I didn't care, I just walked right up and was like "umm yeah I was just in and ordered a chicken sandwich yet the CHICKEN was missing!?". I show the girl and she is like "um, k..." and then stood there like she didn't know what to do. So then she says something to one of the workers in the cooking area about the chicken part of the chicken sandwich missing and one of the guys is like "there's no way" I'm like "uh yeah my thoughts exactly". So then this guy comes out (btw the girl never even apologized she was just like "ok we'll get u a filet") until the guy came out and was like "wow sorry about that, we'll make you a new sandwich (like I think the girl was literally going to give me just a filet to put on the empty bun!?)" and he went back to apparently go make it. After a few mins passed I was so annoyed that 1) they didn't even offer to refund me, at least for the damn sandwich missing the part that makes it a chicken sandwich and 2) I could hear one of the workers be like "she must have just taken it out to get another sandwich"...yeah cuz all this nonsense it worth dealing w/for a damn chicken filet for a sandwich I paid for, right, that's my BIG scam! I could NOT roll my eyes hard enough! I finally told the girl I just wanted a refund and she's like "he's almost done" and then just stood there...so what should have been less than 5mins turned into more than dbl that cuz some incompetent twit in the assembly line didn't add the chicken to my chicken sandwich. Usually I'm NOT a Karen about this kinda stuff but this location failed at every possible turn. I go to CFAs enough that I have gotten multiple free meals through points alone and have never had issues w/quality or staff, but this spot gives Arby's vibes and that is not in line w/the CFA brand. It was absolutely NOT a pleasure at this location. Tho maybe it was a blessing the guy remade my sandwich cuz I don't know that the one I originally got wouldn't have been garbage. The other part that was enraging was this was supposed to be their "special" pretzel bun chicken sammie and the f-ing meal was $12...no sir, never again. My wife and I visited this Salisbury Location on Dec. 24 at 4:49 pm just before closing not realizing the closing at 5 pm. During ordering I ask a manager if was to late dine in and he stated no enjoy your meal. My wife had finished her meal and I was finishing mine and she asked for a drink refill and was denied. As soon as returning to our table a young person approach us and told me to finish my meal and leave because everyone won't to leave. I've been going to Chick Fil A for decades. This is the first time I've had any issues. Usually, the food is perfect and the order is accurate. Oops. My youngest daughter and I decided on an early dinner and we decided on the old tried and true. She loves Chick Fil A. I got the sandwich combo with fries and Mae got the 8 piece with fries. My sandwich looked like it had been smashed. It tasted fine but it looked rough. The 8 piece actually turned out to be a 7 piece. While it may not seem to be a big deal, prices what they are should dictate quality and accuracy. So we paid 100% full price for 87.5% nuggets. Very irritating. We can use both hands folks and count to 8. And to boot, the nuggets were cold. The fries were an abomination. They were undercooked, saturated with grease and as limp as branches on a weeping willow tree. We ended up feed those to the ducks at a nearby pond. This was not the kind of food quality or order accuracy I have come to expect from Chick Fil A. I may give this particular location another chance. Bad days can happen. But it doesn't take a rocket scientist to count to 8, know how long nuggets have been sitting out or how to properly deep fry potatoes. One mistake on a single order is one thing. But three may be an indicator of bigger problems. 2 1/2 star avg for Chick Fil A? This location obviously has service issues. It may be passed time for the crew to be turned over or go back through training. This isn't how Chick Fil A's are suppose to be operated. Is management even reading Yelp? read more

The food quality and taste was as you would expect and the quick service for our initial meal was also as expected. If that was all, I would drop 5 stars and move on. But customer service is sub par at best at this location. So much so, that when I'm in this area again, I won't visit this location. What happened? We had two in our group. We ordered and got our food quickly as expected and sat down. The only thing I noticed at this point was that nobody had said "my pleasure" during the ordering or receiving process. Everyone knows that's the trained response by corporate CF. As the meal went on, both of us needed a refill...but, as we approached the counter, the normal cheerful quick to help look and attitude was absent. Two people looked me dead in the eye and walked in back. I stood there with my cup for about a minute before someone else came out of the back and filled the cup. Same experience for the other group member. We commented how this was the most unfriendly service we'd experienced at a CF. Then, we witnessed a mother with two young children struggling through her order with her kids. As they finished and she paid, they said it didn't go through. Long story short, during her time ordering, it turned 9:01. Which according to the unempathetic 20 year old manager, means that the machines canceled her order and there was nothing she could do. You could imagine the frustration for this mother and her two hungry children. Based on this experience, I give one star for the food quality and one star for the initial quickness. I don't do too many reviews of national chains, for the most part you know what to expect and get what you expect. Especially at Chick-FIL-A. However this one may be one of the most glaring exceptions I have ever seen. It is almost as if this Chick-FIL-A shares its name with the chain.... but everything else is all on its own. Let's begin with the menu, completely different menu than every other Chick-fil-A I have ever been to. Chicken strips? Sorry, but you can have spicy ones. Cool wrap? Sorry, we don't have a replacement for that. Side salad? Sorry as well. They have some other odd items on the menu. It is just very odd to go to a Chick-fil-A with completely different items than everywhere else. It is also the only Chick-fil-A I have been to in the last few years that does not use the Chick-fil-A app. I love just ordering and everything is correct so you can just hop in the line and pick it up. But not here. And finally the employees, at (a real) Chick-fil-A you always get the cheerful and helpful employees. But in Salisbury i would say more times than not I get a like warm at best reception. It is absolutely on par with most other fast food restaurants, but maybe Chick-fil-A has just set the bar too high for themself since I expect that at all of them now! read more

As CFA goes of course it is fabulous. As far as anything else, its not. The location isnt the greatest not in a bad area just not well thought out as to how to lay it out on the spot provided. They even closed down awhile and redid things and it still sucks. If ordering in the drive thru you end up going around the building twice. Once to get in their line and once to get back out. I feel like Chevy Chase in European Vacation...hey kids look, Big Ben over there. Lol Lots of locations are active in the community, and in the app, this one isnt one of them. They dont do anything, offer anything other than the national be a cow day. I follow 2 other locations close by who are very involved in the area, this one isnt. They just opened up after a parking lot renovation to add a second drive thru ordering lane. The quality of the food is always good, but it ends there. My roommate and I went through the drive thru and were handed the wrong food not once, but twice. The second time we didn't realize it wasn't our correct order until we drove away from the window. On a recent trip back from Raleigh, I stopped in here for a quick bite to eat, via the drive-thru. It was around 8:30 on a Friday night & they were quite busy. The drive-thru had quite a line, but in true typical Chic-Fil-A fashion, I wasn't in line very long. I'd consider giving them a five star rating, but I feel customer service and how slowly they work prevents that. They have a quick system of getting people in and out, yet, there's still a huge gap when it comes to a speedy service. Workers out on a hot, sunny day, and workers out on cold, bitter days. Waited in line 20 minutes & the 2 girls outside, supposedly taking orders were more interested in talking/ laughing & showing their nails to each other. When I got my food, the large fry wasn't half full. Unfortunately, I was out of line. When I went back around I asked the employee directing traffic to take my bag & receipts to the window and fill my fry box, (the window was only a car length away) and he said, its not my job. He did finally go to the window without my food, manager said I had to come in. I had a pet in the car, it was 95 degrees outside, and couldn't leave him in the car. She called the cops on me for blocking traffic. A nice customer asked if she could help me and she went in with my food & receipt, to make the order right and the manager refused to do it. Why? She knew I would be gone by the time the cops got there. How pathetic. She had me banned for life & said if I ever come back, I'd be trespassing & arrested. I am still in shock.
