I love BoJangles and the food here is perfectly fine. However, this has to be the slowest restaurant I've ever been to. I've given this place several chances at multiple times during the day and week (as I said, I love BoJangles) and it's always slow. You can be the only customer or the 5th in line, either way it seems like they didn't start anything in your order until you're already waiting; and yet somehow it still isn't fresh cooked. I don't usually leave reviews for fast food chains unless they are exceptionally good, or really bad. Bojangles was really bad. Visiting the Salisbury area for work, I had never eaten at a Bojangles before. But I like fried chicken, and saw these Bojangles locations all over the place. So figured I would give it a try, hoping to get some better than KFC, hopefully something like Popeye's. Went through the drive thru, ordered the 3 piece (2 thighs, 1 leg), with sides of mashed potatoes and pinto beans. Took it back to my hotel room, and found immediately they totally goofed my order. What I got was 2 breasts (that would not even be the dark meat I ordered), a side of mac-n-cheese, and a side of mashed potatoes. They only had to get three things right: the chicken and two sides. And they could only manage to get 1 of 3 correct. I tossed the mac-n-cheese as I don't like it much, and it didn't look very good. The mashed potatoes were okay, and sadly were the best part of the entire meal. The chicken was horrible. Totally dried out white meat. Literally had to choke down with a lot of water. And the breading was flavorless and stale like cardboard. I would never ever go to a Bojangles again. In a word: Disgusting. read more

This is the WORST BoJangles around. They never have full staff. Guessing they can't get workers to show up. The drive-through will be open, but then it takes FOR EVER for your order. They have you to pull around & wait for it. This is the 2nd time I have had to pull around & wait for my food (single order). I will NOT be visiting this BoJangles again. Stopped here on a road trip recently to get a biscuit to eat on the road. Drive through line was slammed (as expected since it was early morning and people needs their Boj). Originally I got charged for the order behind me, but I spoke up too late and the lady ran my card. I totally understood, cause they were crazy busy and I think she was very surprised I didn't yell at her for such a mistake. The world would be a better place if people didn't treat others like crap. Biscuit was fresh and the coffee and bo'rounds were as expected. This location is right off of I-85, so it's gotta get a lot of traffic from people just passing through or just normal Salisbury demand. I'm not sure what's wrong with the employees/management of this business, but I can tell you that they are ALL absolutely miserable! I know nobody enjoys going to work, but y'all really seem to be making it harder on yourselves. All of your reviews are extremely poor. The drive thru employees have zero hospitality or manners, and for a southern establishment, that just seems ass backwards to me. Maybe y'all wouldn't be so miserable if you TRIED smiling & stopped sounding like you've all got a problem with the guests you're serving. Every time I have visited this place, I have to pull around & wait on my food. I was recently just told that there would be a wait on biscuits. BISCUITS. A restaurant whose main selling point is the biscuits they make, ran out of fucking biscuits...at dinner time! I feel as though food is never prepared until you are sitting right at the window. I was also told bo-rounds were not available at dinner time when I had eaten them to previous day - I had to wait on them to be cooked at first of course, but I still got what I ordered. I knew they wouldn't make me the bo-rounds the second day because they are simply lazy! POOR SERVICE and beware.... After a long day of driving this restaurant was in walking distance from the hotel. Took a quick review of the closing time online and showed they closed at 10:00 pm. I'm good I thought. When I arrived, I open the door but a gentlemen greeted me at the door stating they were closed. Checked my watch and it was 9:14 pm. The drive through microphone is absolute shit and extremely hard to hear (which seems a common thread at most Bojangles). The workers are often rude and unpleasant and seem annoyed if you ask for something more or have a long order. There is rarely bo-rounds or bo-berry biscuits ready and you often have to pull around and park and wait upwards of 10-15 min for them to bring it out. I often have to walk inside and ask for it because they take so long. Why aren't Bo-Berry biscuits ready on time ever? It's literally a biscuit (which you already always have ready for everything else) with blueberries in it, then icing on top. Why is that so hard to make on time? This Bojangles most definitely doesn't care much about the business or their jobs and is most always just half-assing it to make their money and get to the next customer. read more

I was a little disappointed of the sides and sweet potato pies. Drinks are refillable and prices are very affordable. Can I give zero stars? Horrible slow service. We just went through the drive thru and it took 10 min with only 1 car in front of us. Then we were told to drive around to the side because the chicken tenders weren't done for another 3 minutes and they would bring them out to us then. I got to the drive thru at 12:25 and was there until 12:50, but that's not even the main issue. When I made it to the speaker I just heard a woman's voice say "what do you want" so I tell her my very simple order (4pc tender meal with bo rounds and a mtn dew) and she tells me to get my total at the window. When I pull around a young guy hands me my drink and says "that'll be 6.76" (I knew that this price didn't match what I ordered). I handed him some cash and asked if I could have ranch and honey mustard for the tenders and he gave me a weird look and grabbed the girl (whom I assumed was the one who took my order judging by her tone). She hands me a biscuit combo and says "you didn't order no tenders". This took me back a little but as I told her that even though my receipt did read "Biscuit combo meal", I did not order that. I then proceeded to ask her "why would I want dipping sauces for a breakfast sandwich". And she began telling all her coworkers that I was "tripping" and that "he didn't order no damn tenders". I work in different areas a lot. Lately I have had a job here in Salisbury. Because I travel I eat at a lot of different locations and this Bojangles is the worst I have ever been to. I have been 3 different times here and all three were a disaster. This last time I waited 30 min in the drive through for a rice bowl. Not a complicated order mind you. After this terribly long wait I was charged for an extra biscuit by mistake, they forgot the hot sauce I asked for, and when I drove back to ask for it they told me it wasn't their fault.
