The meat was super tender, great smoke and kissed with a little bbq and those luscious caramelized onions. I decided on side of collard greens and mac 'n cheese. Hubby had the Texas Trinity which consisted of ribs, sliced brisket and sliced jalapeño cheese sausage link served with the best hush puppies and he decided on sides of collard greens and sweet potato casserole. Note, sorry the brisket was almost devoured before I could take the pic. Everything was seasoned to perfection! The brisket and jalapeño cheese sausage was the best he's had since leaving Texas in 2006; so good in fact that he ordered 2 additional links to go! With bellies full, took the delicious peach cobbler to-go...YUM! We were immediately escorted to our table after making our way to the host station. There were still several tables occupied, which made me feel less guilty about our arrival time. Drinks were promptly brought to our table and then we placed our order. Now comes to the one-star deduction explanation. By my phone, at least 30 minutes went by before I asked our server if our food was coming out or did we need to go elsewhere. Up until this time, our server hid in the kitchen. While he appeared geniunely polite, I think he was honestly afraid to ask the kitchen crew what was taking so long. Our server's supervisor came out and apologized for the delay explaining that our order had been lost (our server later told us the order printer ran out of paper and no one seemed to notice). In an effort to make it up to us, the supervisor stated he would take off the priciest meal on our ticket. Within a few minutes, our order did come out and thankfully the food was delicious, which actually was this restaurant's saving grace. I don't normally travel through this area unless headed to the Charlotte airport, so it's unlikely I'll stop again at this CB location. My recommendation though would be to come during busier times of the day when the staff seemed to be more "on point."

I used the app to place my to-go order; the drive-thru was literally wrapped around the bldg, so I opted to just walk in and get it. Every other CFA location I have used the app for has a little shelf area for mobile orders...this place oddly did not just a little sign I guess you were supposed to stand under awkwardly until a staff person noticed you. It took a hot minute cuz there was also a small queue inside, but finally a girl behind the counter acknowledged me and asked if I had a mobile order. I told her I did and she went to get it. Got my drink and my order and headed out. I usually check my order before I leave but I was in a rush to beat 85 traffic, and since I had just ordered a simple chicken sandwich combo and saw the sandwich and fries + sauces in the bag, no reason to delve further. I go out to my car, unwrap my sandwich only to find my chicken sandwich was missing the most important part...the damn chicken filet!? Seriously!?! I could NOT roll my eyes hard enough! I finally told the girl I just wanted a refund and she's like "he's almost done" and then just stood there...so what should have been less than 5mins turned into more than dbl that cuz some incompetent twit in the assembly line didn't add the chicken to my chicken sandwich. Usually I'm NOT a Karen about this kinda stuff but this location failed at every possible turn. I go to CFAs enough that I have gotten multiple free meals through points alone and have never had issues w/quality or staff, but this spot gives Arby's vibes and that is not in line w/the CFA brand. It was absolutely NOT a pleasure at this location. Tho maybe it was a blessing the guy remade my sandwich cuz I don't know that the one I originally got wouldn't have been garbage. The other part that was enraging was this was supposed to be their "special" pretzel bun chicken sammie and the f-ing meal was $12...no sir, never again. This place put me off CFA for awhile!

We were there for about five minutes and no one greeted us, acknowledged us, or came over to help us at all. For a sports bar during football season, you would think someone would at least welcome customers and let them know they'll be with them shortly. Instead, we felt completely ignored, so we left and went to East Coast Bar & Grill instead, where we could actually get some service. Hopefully Buffalo Wild Wings improves the customer service, because being busy is understandable -- being ignored isn't.
