This was our first time trying the Popeyes of the south. We had Bo BBQs and a sweet potato pie. The pie was awesome. The sandwich was good with a little kick fried into the batter and some slaw for dressing. They were a little disorganized at this location. Not exactly fast food, but we weren't in a rush. Just remodeled and the card reader in drive thru doesn't work. No sign up or anything letting customers know. The cashier tells me I can only pay in cash or I can come inside and replace my order and pay with my debit card inside. Why are they making things so hard for no reason. What is the reason for having 3 registers if you can't ring customers on a different on if your equipment is broken. Instead you would rather loose money. And after this horrible customer service I dont want to go back to this location any more. I have lived in Spencer for 6 years and it's always some problem with this place. Was driving out of town to the highway when I stopped here to get a late lunch. Since I had to take a business call, I got my chicken tenders, fries and tea to go so I could eat them in my car and take the call. Food came out quick and I was ready to go. I don't eat a lot of fast food and all the saltiness of the fries and tenders reminded me why. It'll do in a pinch but I prefer local places if possible. read more

If your looking for a damn good biscuit, bojangles is the place to go but not the place to dine. We stopped in for a quick meal to go and after walking into the restaurant I was fine with not staying. This establishment is very unkempt, the door to the closet in the dining room was falling off the hinges and the entire establishment could use a good deep cleaning. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich with a biscuit on the side. They also have salads and obviously many more forms of chicken to choose from, as well as a good selection of breakfast sandwiches. The grilled chicken was very tasty, it was seasoned well and the biscuit was excellent. The service was below average, there appeared to be a lack of management and structure in how orders were prepared and prioritized. I would recommend checking your order twice if using the drive thru, dining in would not be an option for me. Cheers! read more

Went to this Bojangles on a whim on the way to Winston-Salem. Check your box before you pull off (we were in a rush). I got a two piece and mashed potatoes, my counterpart order tenders and borounds and a sweet potato pie. Get down the road, no fork, no borounds, just fries and no ketchup. Even after we waited for our food to get "fresh" borounds we still got fries. read more

The food is great, but it's horribly managed. They were out of Cajun filet biscuits, which is like Papa John's running out of pepperoni. I realize there is a chicken shortage, but they were also out of sweet tea and bottled water; therefore, I think it's just poor planning. The wait time was also very long. read more

Last time I visited, the manager was behind the counter, cooking, while he was completely drunk. The young lady working the drive thru spoke so fast and sloppy, I could not understand. Because of that, I had no idea what I ordered. I drove to the window, wasn't "greeted" but instead was told, "it's gonna be $7 and change but I'd need to move to a parking spot for a 5-6 minute wait on bo-berry biecuits. No problem, other than it took her 3 times to tell me to park Bc I could not understand her. She spoke like an auctioneer. After waiting 26 minutes for my food, I went back through the drive thru for a refund. New worker at the drive thru. They gave my money back and oddly tried to insist that I take the food, like they REALLY wanted me to take it. Employees were laughing all the while and seemingly hoping for me to take the food. I said, "I'm sorry for all this confusion. I appreciate your help," and left with the food. Before I left the parking lot, I opened the bag and there was nothing in the bag besides ketchup packets and plastic cutlery. I will NEVER visit this location again. These people have lost their minds! I live .5 miles away so go there when I quickly want something, but even those few times is enough to make me question ever going back again. I can count on a 50/50 shot of going there and driving away empty handed. They have all the excuses in the book, and even the 50% of the time I get something I still end up unsatisfied quite regularly. They either mess up my side, give me a regular chicken instead of deluxe, or undercook the chicken. It's my fault I keep going back, but I just have faith in the human work ethic and desire to be responsible. I guess I'm an idiot for expecting a company to be ran properly. read more

Worst Bojangles I have ever been too. Tried to make a big order. No one responds at the Drive Thru window. We say hello. The guy goes Yeah! Hold on! This already upset me. He then mumbles something and I said "I believe you said go ahead with my order?" He says nothing. So I start ordering. He says "I got your 10 sausage biscuits, what else?" Very rude! I decide to pull away and thank him for his service but with that attitude I wouldn't be ordering. He proceeds to yell at me as I drive away. I call the "manager" who would not provide me with her name and start to tell her what happened. She says "Ma'am, he was trying to fix his headphones." I said "well, he could've said it a lot nicer." She says "he was taking your order, I could hear everything!" I said " then you should've helped him instead of losing business! Btw what's his name?" She said his name is Bob! I laughed and said "if that doesn't sound made up, I dunno what does!" I called back after 4pm to speak to someone else! They said they didn't have a Bob that worked there. I said I didn't think so. While she was nicer, nothing was still done. We didn't have food, the guy nor the manager was reprimanded. Just an awful place! Will drive out of my way to go to a different one. read more

Terrible terrible service. Terrible terrible waits. Last few times we have tried the drive thru, it is a very long wait, and once they finally take your order, the answer is always, "its gonna be about 15 or 20 minute. This is probably the worse Bojangles I've been in the food wasn't good the biscuits were burnt the drink machine was down no tea out to get the place was very dirty needed to be cleaned majorly when you come into the restaurant on the other side you can smell the restroom they were dirty need majorly to be cleaned the only good part of the meal was the tea I had and the service from the young lady taking the order The preparation of food was very slow read more

Just a overall horrible experience. Burnt food, dirty establishment. Smell of dirty bathrooms as you walk in. The cashier was friendly, but the rest was not really doing much. I would highly recommend staying away from this location. read more
