Took two of my granddaughters there last week on Thursday morning. Ordered two bacon egg and cheese biscuits, a side of scrambled egg whites and a plain biscuit.When she handed me the bag it was so light I had to pull up so I could see what we got. Unwrapped the first and thought it was a plain biscuit. Opened it up and the amount of ingredients was so small I couldn't believe. egg cheese and two small pieces of bacon that were about three inches long each. Egg didn't even cover the bottom of the biscuit. ordered my granddaughter a biscuit and a side order of egg whites and she looked at me and said look at this funny egg. I looked and it was probably one egg white flattened. So thin you could see through it. Wont go back. Will drive to biscuit king in Lexington for a bacon egg and cheese biscuit that hardly fits in two hands with egg and bacon in abundance that almost falls off the biscuit and their biscuits are quite big. I've been a fan of Biscuitville going back to the days when I was working for a Chemical Company and one of our major customers was less than 5 minutes away in Burlington NC. The closest Biscuitville was in Graham and I would occasionally pick up a coffee and biscuit or every now and then, pick up a number of biscuits to give to our clients. They were always appreciated, and they were close enough such that the biscuits were still hot when I got to the customer. Fast forward 10 years and we had sold the Chemical Company and I am now working in Statesville. Every day I drove past Mooresville on I-77 and would stop at the Biscuitville and pick up a quick breakfast. Alas that did not last long because they closed the store, and it is now a Zaxby's. Some time back, I had occasion to borrow the use of a particular piece of Laboratory Equipment in a Concord Lab and was there when they opened. Took only an hour and when I left, I drove back to the office in Statesville. At the time, I had not had Breakfast and wanted at least a cup of coffee. Route back to Statesville was Concord to Salisbury and Jake Alexander Blvd over to US70 and then west to Statesville. In the process, I ran across this Biscuitville and once I saw it, I knew where I was going to have Breakfast even if it was a late one. Went inside and ordered a Large Black Coffee and two Fried Chicken Biscuits. Order was out in record time. Biscuits was nice and flaky and the Chicken was nice and moist and not dried out. Very Good. Chick-fil-A, you may have some completion. The Coffee was good as well but not excellent. Service is good and restaurant is nice and clean and well maintained which translates to good management. For a quick Breakfast, definitely an option. read more

The Jake Alexander location has been bad for years to the point I normally avoid it but occasionally I swing through in hopes it has improved and I am normally let down as is the case on my last visit the 2nd week of June. I'm making my order in the drive through and ordered a large drink with my meal, I was told they were out of large lids, I asked for a medium and she said, you mean a small...so I agreed. When I pulled up to the 2nd window and looked inside the floor was disgusting to say the least, I paid for my food, she handed me my meal and my drink but now straw, when I asked for a straw she told me they were out of straws and slammed the wundow shut! I pull out and thought my bill was a bit high, looked at the receipt and I was charged for a large drink and received a small and was charged for two cherry pies but ordered one and received only one. Needless to say thats the last time I will ever go to the Jake Alexander location. They were great the first few years they were open. I once ate inside and they gave me the wrong biscuit and when I asked the man at the register to correct it, he told me he was busy waiting on all the people that woke up at 11am on Sunday and decided they wanted breakfast, I asked for a manager and the manager could have cared less. We never expect much since it's right before they close, though that has absolutely changed! This was at the Jake Alexander Blvd location in Salisbury, NC. I got there at 1:10 and ordered and paid for 3 bacon biscuits. I was told to pull up away from the window. After approximately 15 minutes of waiting a girl came out. There was a black Lincoln in front of me waiting for I cannot guess how long. Check #2936567. Server at the drive thru window on ticket was Bibi, on May 8, 2025 and I could hear everyone cutting up and laughing inside the building. The person in front of me and I were the only people there. I write my feedback with a heavy heart as we thoroughly enjoy each time, we travel to Raleigh to pick up our daughter from NC State; or on our way to the King's Mountain to see the wonderful people working. The commitment and exceptional customer service each time we visit is what brings us back several times each month to see Angi, the biscuits ladies Loretta and her twin. Unfortunately, during our first time visiting the BV1789 Jake Alexander Blvd location it was the complete opposite, and disturbing. As we pulled into the parking lot, we noticed an employee running full speed into the building and then stood behind the counter. Employee Jaquarrius was standing behind the counter getting ready to take our order. This immediately started with his frown and attitude like we were a bother being there and was not interested at all in taking our order. During our encounter he would whisper back do you want anything else and is that all rolling his eyes. With no eye contact and a look of disguest the entire time. After our order was taken while we waited the same employee Jaquarrius was in the dinning room on his phone and the manager had to repeatedly say get off the phone there are customers. The manager on duty had to repeatedly say get off the phone and come to the front. Finally, I gave up and went to the counter to collect my food, all while repeatedly the MOD had to ask to have the employee to come to the front get off the phone and take orders. I know not everyone is at 100% each day as the service industry is hard, as my wife and I use to work together in the field. But never were we rude and made a customer feel as if we were not welcome and annoying them while trying to give our order. We are concerned as you have an employee passing out cups with the same gloves holding a personal phone, which is unhygienic. In a nutshell we will not be returning to this location ever and see why there is only 3 stars on Yelp. The sad thing about it is we passed another Biscuitville Exit 103 and it was packed so we kept driving to be sure we made our routine visit outside of our normal home location Kings Mountain. I can't stress enough to please check the camaras and activity so you can observe first-hand how this employee is interacting with customers as you don't want to end up like Jack and Box a ruined brand. We don't want the employee fired but please heavily consider some serious training. We have always been advocates for your brand posting and creating content to share and spread the word about how wonderful the love that goes into biscuits and its clearly not at this location. Third times the charm. I'm Done with this location. I will drive farther away to one that is run properly. Long wait times in line, then they'll give you some inedible food and expect you to eat it. Today I got a pork chop biscuit. My favorite. I've eaten a few hundred of them. They're always good, even if they didn't JUST come out of the fryer. However, this location like to just drop old cold items back into the fryer which is not just nasty, but also a health code violation. I didn't get to eat breakfast today. My tea was good, but the biscuit was like pork jerky. Hard as a rock. Couldn't even eat it. Couldn't go back because after already waiting 15 minutes, I would have been late for work. Ive never heard of Biscuitville and thought it was out of business because there were never any cars there. Turns out, they open and close early. I was in town earlier than normal today and caught them with their lights on. So I gave them a try. Upon walking in, I notice a strong smell of cleaning solution. Not bleach, but maybe Pine Sol. ?? (Hey, at least they clean!) I walked over to the counter and was greeted by Miss Linda. She was wonderful. Thinking biscuits would be too heavy, I opted for pancakes. I dont know why I got pancakes at a biscuit joint. But I regret it. The pancakes were awful. I got a 3 stack and threw out 2.5 stacks. The pancakes were pastey. When I poured more syrup on them, they just crumbled into little batter pieces. Theres something wrong with their batter. I was not offered a refund. My eggs and bacon and coffee were fine. Its always good when you can watch someone making your food you get free entertainment!! They do not try and be something they are not they do not have sushi nor BBq they are a breakfast place and a very good one they have breakfast food ! You know your eggs and pancakes but, they are a biscuit place many choices from country ham to Grilled chicken biscuits and everything in between. I love this place so much!! It's a chain but not many of them are around. The biscuits are baked fresh and are really good. You can't go wrong with just about any item. Plus, the best part for me, is they use REAL eggs!! None of that powdery mess you see at other places. I always order a Fried Egg White on my biscuit and normally have to pull aside to wait because they are cooking it fresh. I also enjoy the Fries and Grits. Today I had a horrible experience at this location. I ordered the ULT sausage plate. Once I received my food, my grits were ice cold. So I went back up to the counter and asked the cashier if they had any hot grits. He told another worked and they shrugged it off. Took my plate and added hot water to the grits on my plate! I assume this place is a chain, but being from Alabama, I hadn't heard of it before. I was kind of excited, because A)breakfast is my favorite and this place obviously only does breakfast and B)biscuits are my favorite of breakfasts (which if your paying attention means I stumbled upon a place with my favorite-favorite). We ordered the steak biscuit, chicken biscuit, hashbrowns and a side of gravy (I disliked that gravy counts against you as a whole side. Could be the fatty in me, but just because I like gravy on my biscuit doesn't mean I'm not interested in some fried potatoes too!). The biscuit themselves were pretty good, the meats less so. Both the steak on mine and chicken on my husband's were sliced so thin that they ended tough after the cooking. The hashbrowns were fresh out of the fryer and super tasty and I liked the gravy too!
