My family went through the drive thru yesterday and the service was absolutely horrible. The lady taking our order had an attitude and continued to speak over us while ordering. How is this place still in business... every time I've gone here, the food is subpar. Today, I wanted to try the funnel cake... BIG MISTAKE. It was hard and dry...translation old. It didn't look like a funnel cake it looked more like a hockey puck nothing like the picture on the menu. It smelled like a funnel cake, but the taste was not the greatest... it actually had an aftertaste, and I'm still trying to figure out what that was about. I've been at this location several times and I could believe what happened. My whole order was cold. I ask for fries with no season and it seem as if the fries were just sitting there since the pervious day. My chicken strips were chicken nuggets and my wings were iced cold. Literally iced cold like they just came out of the freezer. My cashier was willing to assist but the manager was not willing to assist. The manager wanted to provide all type of excuses to why the food was not prepared correctly instead of just fixing the issue. The cashier apologize for the issue but the manager seem still to be upset that the order had to be redone. Yuuuum!!! First off, I'm one of those people who is not a fan of fried chicken, so it's kind of funny that I'm writing a 5 star review on a place known for their fried chicken, but I digress. I have visited this location two times and on both occasions I ordered a salad. The first visit was a dine-in experience and I remember the customer service being excellent-- for me, good service sticks longer than the food. On that visit I ordered the Asian-inspired Zensation salad with breaded chicken; it was excellent! My second visit was made during my lunch break, where I used their convenient drive-thru. Drive-thru or not, the customer service was great again! This time around I ordered the grilled chicken Cobb salad. It was large, fresh and delicious, and for only $8... uh, yeah, sign me up. I ordered the grilled chicken combo that included the sandwich, french fries, and a drink for $5.99. I placed the order online but had to wait a little when I arrived, so I don't think they prepared it until I arrived. The grilled sandwich was very good, with the chicken fillet quite plump, much larger than the fillets offered on similar sandwiches at McDonalds, Wendy's, Burger King, and Chick-fil-A. The barbecue sauce that came with it was also good. They have lots of soda options from their Coke Freestyle dispenser...I had Mello Yello, which is not easy to find. They keep the place clean and the staff is friendly. The only issue is that they put Zaxby sauce on my sandwich, but they quickly fixed it. Then it came out with cheese and bacon, but I just pulled the cheese off and enjoyed the bacon - I think they gave me a more expensive grilled sandwich by mistake, but I'll take the bacon. I also requested Texas toast instead of the french fries, but they gave me both to my surprise. If you check in on Yelp, they give you a free cookie. I requested a brownie instead, which they gave me without any static. I highly recommend Zaxby's and will definitely return. read more

First time eating at this location. My wife and son ordered the strips and I ordered traditional wings with the Nuclear sauce which were very delicious, and the cheese curds which were alright. The music was a little loud but not as bad as some locations I've eaten at. The place was clean and the staff was very friendly. I met a WW II veteran there which was totally awesome. The cashier asked if I was at least 55 years of age or a veteran and I said, "Well I'm both". I receive a little over $3 off the total order which was awesome. Thank You for recognizing both senior citizens and veterans. That's what every American company should do. They do offer a free cookie with a Yelp check in. Unacceptable service and behavior form manager AND staff. After 30 minutes of waiting, I asked what the problem was. I got a "we're just busy". After an HOUR of waiting I go up to the counter and told them how long I had been waiting. Everyone just stood around and looked at each other like they didn't know what to do. They finally realized my order had been sitting there for 20+ minutes. Now my food is COLD and not fresh. They did nothing to try to make the situation better. Went 11/17/18 for lunch. I received a Free Chicken strip offer in the mail. Decided to give them a try for the first time. Went inside to place the order and presented my coupon and ordered an order of fries to go with it. It took a little longer than I expected for what I thought was a basic order. It was about 8 to 10 minutes but because I love hot food I did not mind. When the order came out I took it to eat in the car. The fries were not hot and had no salt on them so basically flavorless. The strips were warm but not crunchy like I was expecting. It looked like fresh chicken and it tasted fine just wanted a little more crunch. Had this as a target for quit sometime, and with a local competitor close, which we are fans of..good chance to compare the two..both offer chicken, fries, slaw...but Zaxs has an expanded menu which was a big draw for us...the chicken was good, fries were hearty, and crisp, with a great spice..slaw was fresh and crunchy...also tried the Fried white cheddar bites..really good, paired well with all the sauces that came with the meal..Toasted Toast was Toasted perfect..crunchy outer shell and soft center..Customer service was top notch..Brian made his rounds offering extra sauce, refills, etc..I asked to try the nuclear sauce..which was Tabasco based and had a good amount of heat..but still Mello for this hot head..Zax sauce went great with everything..truthfully I would pic Zaxs over there rival...just based on menu selection..look forward to our return.. read more

Poor management of food and review of food before providing it to customers. We went to get lunch here after the snow and all the power outages. We were given coleslaw that was rotten Sadly I payed extra for some more Coleslaw without knowing it was rotten and expire. Careful going to this restaurant as they don't seem to check their food before providing to their customers. I called the restaurant and all was said is "ok"... Horrible! I went here solely because I have a lovely handsome boyfriend who is from Georgia and used to go to Zaxby's when he was younger. Before my boyfriend told me about this place, I had never heard about it. It's basically like a Cane's but..... slightly not as good. haha I tried the 4 chicken finger basket and the chicken was pretty good. It had a good amount of seasoning on it and was pretty juicy. The 4 pieces I got were slightly on the smaller side. But my boyfriend traded one of my small tenders for one of his larger ones :). The fries are so good and crispy and wavy. The sauce is just like Cane's sauce, almost identical to it actually. The piece of toast that came with my plate was so perfectly crisp on the edges and soft on the inside, I loved it. The cookies are so ooey gooey chocolatey goodness!! They were small but cheap. We also tried an oreo shake with CHOCOLATE WHIPPED CREAM. The chocolate whipped cream was not good at all. In fact, it had a weird after taste, so I don't recommend that, but the shake was soooo good :). It's kind of hard to mess up a shake though. Overall, this place was pretty good and cheap. It's not Cane's but it still has a place. My boyfriend loves it so I am almost 100% certain that I will be back and I definitely recommend it if you are in the neighborhood. read more
